I've now been here twice for 2 different events for a friend. One bridal shower and one baby shower. This restaurant really does an outstanding job with large groups. There is plenty of parking too. We had several appetizers, the meatballs and the friend raviolis are delicious. Their bread service is fantastic too. I've had their chicken fettuccine Alfredo twice now and both times it was fantastic. I had to take half of it home even! I highly recommend this place whether it's a large group or by yourself. You won't be disappointed by the quality of food and service.

I love Luigi's. This family owned restaurant is serving up delicious authentic dishes. There is a huge variety in the menu and everything so far has been great. Cute restaurant, centrally located in Madison. Perfect for a work lunch or family dinner. The owners are very sweet and work hard to bring the best quality to their customers. Now for some lemon cake!

Just tried Luigi's for the first time and it is such a hidden gem!! I went in and ordered take out of the lunch portion of the Chicken Parmesan and got to chat with the friendly staff and kind owner while I was waiting for my meal. They were such kind people who are definitely worth supporting with your business!! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!! I am a huge Italian food lover and this exceeded many other restaurants I've tried in my life. The price was also reasonable for the quality and amount of food I received. The dining room felt very cozy and welcoming - definitely would be a good date night spot that I'm excited to come back and try with my husband! There is also plenty of parking out front, so no worries there. 10/10 experience!! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a delicious Italian restaurant in the area.

    Fresh roll. I couldn't wait.

My friend from Virginia was visiting and I told her I have a place picked out where the food is awesome. We ate at two restaurants prior to Luigi's Italian Grill and those restaurants were 3 stars meh. We arrived at Luigi's Italian Grill and were immediately greeted at the door. The interior of the restaurant has been redecorated and looks great. We were seated and waters brought out quickly. My friend tried the Chicken Murphy based on my recommendation. I had the Chicken Murphy minus jalapeños. My husband ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce and Grandma's Lasagna. Our foods came out blazing hot and all of them tasted phenomenal. My friend couldn't believe how tasty her Chicken Murphy was. Hubs raved about his spaghetti with meat sauce and Grandma's Lasagna were bomb. Thank you Luigi's for preparing fresh hot exceptionally delicious foods. I knew this restaurant selection wouldn't let me down and the foods would be tasty. Thank you again Luigi's!!! If you like Italian food, please stop by and give this mom and pop restaurant a try. Your tummy will be happy.

They always serve these hot fresh rolls when you sit down. This one kinda had a face lol

This place is kind of a little Italian neighborhood restaurant for us. So we eat there pretty often. Definitely some casual Italian food. It's like going to mom's kitchen and getting a big serving of tasty pasta and signature sauces and flavors. I can really highly recommend the pappardelle alla boschiola (super hard to pronounce lol) i've tried a lot of the dishes here, including the stuffed shells and fettuccine with lemon sauce but the PAB is to die for and it's a lot of food for the money! Speaking of which they are very reasonably priced. They always serve hot fresh rolls when you sit down.

Each giant slice was the equivalent of 2-3 slices combined. The flavor on both pizzas was very good and the lamb was not "gamey" or overpowering in flavor. Our little nieces loved the bolognese pasta, and I tried the sauce on it, and it was tasty. We ordered it all to go.

I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again, but for what it is (a two-location only, not really a…read morechain restaurant) it was a-okay. We were there for a late lunch, so we basically had the run of the place. Our server was very sweet, non-intrusive, and--though she did forget about a caesar salad until reminded after entrees were served--overall did a great job. Drinks were refilled promptly, etc. The food? Eh, it was fine. The garlic styx (why do they spell it this way, ARGH) were pizza dough, not actually "bread," and holy CRAP was there a lot of garlic on them. I mean entire cloves coating it. I don't mind garlic so I wasn't mad, but it was a bit much. The side of marinara was adequate in both taste and volume, but tasted jarred. I got the 10-layer eggplant. Now, I love eggplant parm and I see where they were going with this, but it was just SO cheesy. I love cheese and marinara and eggplant and all that jazz, but this singular dish probably contained 2 lbs (no joke) of cheese condensed into a 5"x5" square. I know there was eggplant in there (finely sliced, like on a mandolin thin). I know there was sauce in there (there was some swirled around the dish). However, all I could taste was...cheese. This is the first, and likely will be the last, time I ever complain about too much cheese. Practical notes: I didn't see any super dinginess like other reviews state, but I also didn't go to the bathroom. Your mileage may vary. Parking is a niiiiiiiightmaaaaaaare even when the restaurant isn't busy. Make sure your parallel parking skills are up to date or try and squeeze into one of the lots. Portions are large, so order accordingly. If you order something with cheese and are even remotely sensitive to dairy, bring your Lactaid and triple the dose. NOTE: this is not actual medical advice.

There's ample parking and the interior looks nice enough; kind of a fun Italian mafia theme with lots of comfortable booths and an attractive bar with a good TV. Both the restaurant and the women's restroom were very clean. We entered right after opening but were made to feel quite welcome by the waitstaff. Our waitress brought our menus, including a lunch menu! I love a lunch menu. My mom and I both ordered the lunch portion of the spaghetti carbonara. She enjoyed her sweet tea and I had a diet soda. The entrees come with a piece of garlic bread. I thought the portion size and price were both perfect for a lunch serving. The garlic toast was crispy and buttery. We enjoyed our spaghetti carbonara. It's not made with eggs and cheese in the traditional way, but instead uses Alfredo sauce, which is a little disappointing to me. I remain on the hunt for that kind of carbonara in Huntsville. Still, it was a good Alfredo sauce, the pasta was cooked well, and there were ample little bacon bits. Pleasant visit, nice place for lunch -- give them a try for some solid American-Italian food if you're in the area!

Tonight I had chicken parmesan and it was dreadful. The chicken cutlet was obviously frozen, likely microwaved and barely even warm. It was pale and completely without that crunchy texture you want. The "cheese" looked and tasted more like a spattering of wall paper paste. In fact the entire dish tasted no better than a can of spaghetti-O's. I understand that the restaurant is sourcing frozen products to cut costs and reduce prep time, but this is inexcusable. At least bake the chicken in an oven until its done. I do this at home all the time with frozen foods. Just a few years ago this same dish was much better, and it was much larger. I forced myself to eat this slop but was actually still hungry afterward. I would have been embarrassed to serve this to someone and charge them for it. School cafeteria food is better than this. I won't be back for a very long time, if ever. If this is the best they can do, they may as well shut it down. I just hope the owner reads my review and decides that this is not the way.
