This is the pizzeria right by axelrad. It's definitely the move after a fun night out, good pizza to follow up on the potential drinking you've done throughout the night! Only thing to watch out for is wait times, since pretty much everyone is looking for a bite at some point throughout the night. The setting is always fun, good music playing and generally good vibes around this area.

A friend of mine told me that Luigi's quality has been going downhill. I did't believe him. I took my family to Luigi's last night and sadly confirmed what I was told. The dough was not the same it used to be. It was chewy and lack the flavor of a well matured dough. It felt bland/industrial. Luigi's used to show on my top pizza places in Houston...not anymore :(

Even after 12 years the food consistency is still there. Pizza has a thinner crust, so if you like it thick & packing this might be a turn off. They don't charge more for doing a half and half. We popped in before zoo lights. Enjoyed the now closed patio area and free play pac man table. My kids tested the cheese pull on the mozzarella sticks and it exceeded their expectations.

Small place. Big yum. I was very hungry when I stopped by Luigi's. The restaurant is small, but neat with friendly staff. I was impressed by her willingness honor our requests of half toppings on our pizzas. The supreme pizza and the eggplant one were extremely tasty and warming, especially in the cold. The sauce was perfectly balanced and the toppings were well made, all coming together on an excellent made dough base. The max and cheese bites were also an unexpected pleasant surprise, with there being enough to share.

Luigi's Pizzeria offers a cozy, comforting environment to grab a diverse array of Italian treats. Customer service was good, and staff whipped up our order quite fast. In terms of the actual pizza and salad though, the experience felt a bit lackluster. I tried the Philly Cheesesteak with a Baby Luigi's salad. They both lacked real flavor until we doused them in red chilly flakes and parmesan cheese and even then, they both seemed like overpriced items for the experience we had. I'm curious to go back and try different toppings to see if that would make a difference, since the sauce and crust were quite good.

I got food poisoning from eating the meats pizza (one on the left). I ate about half of it and started feeling nauseous so I threw the slice out. In the early morning I woke up multiple times so sick, body aching and puking with a low fever. I've been bed ridden all day.

This is my favorite pizza in the Houston area. I always order the 16 inch supreme pizza to go which includes pepperoni, sausage, hamburger, black and green olives, red and green peppers, mushrooms and onions (pic attached). Really good pizza and I'm originally from Chicago . You order at the counter and if dining there, they'll bring out your pizza, else you pick up your to-go order at the counter. They have very limited seating inside and some covered outdoor seating at the restaurant itself. Right next door is an open space where people hang out. There are chairs and hammocks. Next door there is a full service bar. Luigi's does not serve alcohol, but you can walk over and grab a cocktail to go with your meal. I rarely eat there, but will have a glass of wine while waiting for my take out order.

I've been to Luigi's a couple of times and it's always good! Being attached to Axelrad means they're always busy, which can make the ordering area a little tight, but the line moves quickly. Staff is friendly and slices are huge - two signs of a great pizza spot! Their buzzer system works well, so you can crab a seat on their patio or head next door to grab a drink while you wait. This last visit I feel like I wanted my slice a little cheesier? Something about it felt drier than usual if that makes sense. But I still very much enjoyed the flavor and my mom loved her supreme slice! Will be back for the good food and great atmosphere.

I ordered an online pick-up order. I received a text and email stating my order is ready for pick up at 8:58 pm (image attached). I arrived at 9:22 pm and was told my order was still in progress and then was questioned if I placed the order for the right location ( I did.). This is frustrating because I allowed a grace period because I felt the first time was too early. Waited an additional 15 minutes and went back in to check. A text or email wouldve been nice to know my order was done. My order was 2 side salads and 16" cheese pizza, not too complicated in my opinion. The salad had fresh veggies and was crunchy. The pizza was okay, maybe because I only got cheese but wasnt that great to me. It is NY style so def thin style pizza (I'm a chicago transplant so my opinion is different for east coast style Za). . The crust could've had a garlic butter on the crust or something.

We had the order put in ahead of time and it was ready on time. The space is smaller but I think its designed to be that way. More so a spot to pickup and if need be theres a few tables in and outside to eat at. We ordered the pig and chicken pizza along with the truffled mushroom bruschetta. Both 10/10. The buschetta by itself can be an order. Good lord it was so good. Nutty, mushroom, cheesy crispy but not dry bread. Im a big toppings make the pizza guy. Perfect crust. I asked for it to be cooked a bit longer because i like really crispy edges. Good bread to topping ratio. You can tell the toppings arent just run of the mill stuff you put on top. The pizza was flavorful, the ricotta was creamy and gave a good cut through with the fatty meats on the pizza. Wonderful job talespin. I need to come back for the breakfast for dinner pizza.

Great char on the bottom, light crust, cupped pepperoni and sauce/cheese were good. The pizza looks amazing when you get it, presentation is 10/10. I bet if I would have customized it without ricotta, it would have been a lot better. Inside the stores decor is cool; skateboarding theme and I bet a lot of items are great on the menu. I wouldn't knock it and I will forsure come back.

First time here, not busy when we arrived although more started to come in as the afternoon progressed. Fun, rustic set up with mixed seating and a good amount of outdoor seating (too hot for that) -focal point is an area with steps (could be a play area) and a big screen TV. World Cup Futbol was on and it looks like this is a spot where you can watch Futbol if there is a match. Pies with enticing topping combinations made it hard to pick just two. We ordered the Dream Catcher and Troublemaker. Dream Catcher-you had me at Goat cheese and Truffle and the Fior Di Latte took it over the top! Troublemaker was also enjoyed with the Chicken Italian sausage which is not available everywhere. Bonus-house made tomato sauce-which was delicious. A couple of salads and desserts so it's all about the pizza here and that's just fine. Service was upbeat and engaged. They do have another location in the Heights. I would say one of the best pizza spots in Htown. Don't miss the Dream Catcher!

Well despite looking very appealing outwardly, after arriving home, I realized that my pepperoni madness pizza turned out to be not so "mad" afterall because it was lacking...Lacking in overall taste, cheesiness, pepperoni, and personality ! And the salad was fresh , but overpriced for the size and toppings.. So overall I gave 3 stars for service and freshness, but I would opt for better pizza options around town..
