We got a large build your own pizza to share, and it was so yummy. It was like a New York slice a little bit because of the thinness of the pizza. We got jalapeños, mushrooms, Italian sausage, hot honey drizzle, and pepperoni as our 5 toppings on the pizza, and it was so good. All the ingredients tasted so fresh, and they gave us fresh mozzarella on the size with red pepper flakes and herbs to use on our pizza. We also got cholula and sriracha hot sauce to drizzle on the pizza from the side kiosk where the drinks are. Service wasn't super fast but wasn't slow by any means. Ambiance was cute since there wasn't a variety of booths or high tables.

See the extra toppings in the top left?

We are trying to go to new places after all of the ooing and awwing on Youtube about the food in Houston. So, we tried a new pizza place and we were so glad that we did. THEY HAVE VEGAN CHEESE AND CRUST. (I have to say that loud and clear for the vegans and allergy people. Also they offered a clean cut. IYKYK ). We almost didn't go in because it looked so generic from the outside, but everything about this place felt special. From the little packs of breadsticks by the drink machine, to the games laid out to enjoy, to the extra spice/topping plate. The pizza was delicious.

I've never dined at Luna's, but I've ordered pizza here multiple times. This may shock you, I am not a pizza lover! I'll eat it, but it's usually not my first choice. Sadly, I am not a pizza connoisseur, but I know great tasting food. Luna's pizzas are delicious and the ingredients are a world of difference from your chain pizza delivery places. You can choose from the signature flavors or opt to customize. There's also vegetarian options. I personally like to customize with a hot honey drizzle on top. Keep in mind, these are "thin" or "thinner" than your average pan pizza crust styles. If you ever question yourself about getting the chocolate chip cookies, just DO IT. The chocolate chip cookie I ate was moist, thicc, and all you need to finish off a fabulous pizza meal! The employees are pleasant and will not steer you wrong.

Luna has become my go-to spot for pizza night! Their personal pizzas are some of the best. They have a huge list of toppings to choose from, and you can choose up to 5 for no extra charge. I love this, as it allows me to get creative and try something new each time. I've also tried their salads, which come in generous portion sizes and with tons of toppings. Unlike many pizza places, I would actually recommend dining in here! The interior is modern and it's never too crowded. They also have some games scattered on the tables for those who want something to do. Not that you'll have too much downtime - the service is usually very fast, even on weekends. As a bonus, you're able to "decorate" your pizza with shaved Parmesan, red pepper flakes, and fresh herbs. Unleash your inner artist! My pictured pizza had pepperoni, mushroom, and whipped ricotta (yum!)

Easy, peasy! Two lunch specials (9" pie & Cesar salad) right in time for dinner ;) Don't sleep on Luna's!

Always good food and good service. We usually order the prosciutto & arugula pizza (one of our staples!). This time we went with smaller pies, one for each of us. I had the ricotta & mushroom, my husband had the pineapple & ham (because he believes pineapple is ok on pizza...hence the order for two pies! Lol!). You beat the price for the lunch combo (which comes with a salad). We opted for Cesar salad. Many places have Cesar salad on their menu, but Luna's is kne of the few places that does it right! I havent been to the other locations. Yale is walking distance. The restaurant is spacious, clean, with clean bathrooms too (a must). It's our go-to!

Fresh pizzas with lots of toppings! Ricotta and Italian sausage are go-tos. It is a thinner crust, prefer thicker crusts but also great atmosphere and have little sides of olive oil! Wings are great here too

Food: - arugula and fennel salad--the small is huge! So flavorful and light. Pairs really well with pizza - personal "make your own" pan pizzas--amazing!! We had one with artichoke, olives, chicken, onions. So good!! The other one had hot honey, arugula, basil, jalapeños whipped ricotta--def my fave. - crust is perfect and you can't beat 12$ for a personal pizza of that size and quality. Perfection. Service: - quick and efficient. - super friendly staff that keep checking in on you Ambiance: - clean restaurant with plenty of seating. Will definitely be back!!

Ordering online was a breeze. Estimated pickup time couldn't have been any better. Friendly staff and great pizza. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars was due to pizza having a lot of flop. Next time I will order extra crispy and should be a perfect review!

This is my only go to pizza spot in Houston. They always get the pizza exactly how I ask for it and never miss a detail. The wings are some of the best in Houston and make the perfect combo with the pizza. I don't even think about ordering from anywhere else anymore. Nice chill spot too if you want to sit inside

I usually order the mini chopped salad but thought I was more hungry tonight. The small was really big. Stick to the mini for 1 person. Even good to split the mini with someone if you also ordered a pizza.

Luna Pizza never fails to disappoint! Quality pies with fresh ingredients, and comes out fast. Prices are fair and the pizza is delicious! Don't miss out on the 1/2 price Mondays, they are an incredible deal. Make sure to call ahead for takeout though as it gets very busy on Mondays. Vibe: modern, low-light, cozy restaurant with lots of seating and parking out front. Good for large parties. Service: Excellent! Always very nice and helpful. One time on a busy Monday night, our pizza took a little longer than they estimated and they gave us free cookies as compensation - not necessary but a nice touch that we really appreciated. Food: Amazing! Pizzas are loaded with toppings and the ingredients taste fresh. When we dined in, they provided fresh oregano and shaved parmesan. We've tried the pepperoni, Margherita, and mushroom pizzas. The pepperoni are little bombs of flavor, and the cheese pull on all these pies is great. Mushrooms on that pie are super savory and fresh too. The whipped ricotta is fantastic, and we pretty much add it onto any pizza we get because it's so good.

I've recently been on a mission to try different pizza places around Houston. I love pizza like people love tacos. It's a one-stop-shop meal and can be turned into meatlover, veggie/vegan/keto, or as a dessert! I've passed by Luna on Yale since I live and shop nearby. From the outside, it looks unassuming because it's in a small shopping strip next to Hi Trendy Dumpling and an urgent care and across from Walmart. Plenty of parking. Indoor seating is spacious and clean. Service is friendly. I haven't tried the desserts, salad or spinach and artichoke dip at Luna yet, but I will. I'm eyeing their carrot cake and tiramisu. There's plenty of appetizers and sandwiches to choose from if you want something other than pizza. I like their pizzas because you can build your own up to 5 toppings, and they have a good selection of signature ones. You can even do half and half if you or your partner/friends want to try different types. I think that's an effective way to try multiple ones. I love Domino's thin crust deluxe, so how did this compare? Well, it's not quite thin crust, but it's pan style with just enough undercarriage that the pizza doesn't flop too much with the toppings. It's not overloaded with tomato sauce, which I prefer. So if you love your pizza loaded with tomato sauce, go to Gold Tooth Tony's for their Detroit style. I haven't tried Luna's signature pizzas, but I love to build my own. I typically get pepperoni, mushroom and the whipped ricotta. The whipped ricotta is so good and slightly sweet. I wish they'd add more mushrooms. The pepperoni are the smaller ones and can get greasy. I've also recently added red pepper which is a roasted red pepper slice. I love the added extras of Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes that come on the side with the pizza. I like to dip my pizza in ranch, and theirs is delicious. The 3 oz ranch is just enough for their 9-inch personal pizza. It's slightly pricey at $12 for a personal size, but they do offer specialty meats and toppings that most places don't. Check them out! They also offer lunch specials. Aside from The Heights, they have locations in upper Kirby and Westheimer.

From the crowd at this very small establishment I was impressed and excited to try out choices of Pepper Vodka and Pepperoni. The Pepperoni was traditional but a limited about of pepperoni as you can see in the photograph, noting about of the ordinary. The Peppered Vodka sauce was excellent, but again limited sausage. The crust was probably the best part of the pizzas. Talespin is what I'd consider an "average" pizzeria when comparing to the "non-chain" establishments around town. Still not as good as you'd get at a proper Italian restaurant, but better than Domino's or Papa John's.

First time here, not busy when we arrived although more started to come in as the afternoon progressed. Fun, rustic set up with mixed seating and a good amount of outdoor seating (too hot for that) -focal point is an area with steps (could be a play area) and a big screen TV. World Cup Futbol was on and it looks like this is a spot where you can watch Futbol if there is a match. Pies with enticing topping combinations made it hard to pick just two. We ordered the Dream Catcher and Troublemaker. Dream Catcher-you had me at Goat cheese and Truffle and the Fior Di Latte took it over the top! Troublemaker was also enjoyed with the Chicken Italian sausage which is not available everywhere. Bonus-house made tomato sauce-which was delicious. A couple of salads and desserts so it's all about the pizza here and that's just fine. Service was upbeat and engaged. They do have another location in the Heights. Well despite looking very appealing outwardly, after arriving home, I realized that my pepperoni madness pizza turned out to be not so "mad" afterall because it was lacking...Lacking in overall taste, cheesiness, pepperoni, and personality ! And the salad was fresh , but overpriced for the size and toppings.. So overall I gave 3 stars for service and freshness, but I would opt for better pizza options around town..
