So recently I was working near the museum district/ zoo and I was looking for somewhere to eat. I stumbled across this eatery. Now pizza is definitely one of my favorites but we all know not everyone can do it right. Well let me tell you this company definitely knows what they are doing. The brick oven pizza came out quickly and man did it taste great. I don't usually go for a variety of topping and usually stick to the norm. But they have a pizza to fit just about anyone's taste. The staff were very polite and took their time to explain what was offered. Now if you are interested in a craft beer they also had a great selection to choose from. Being at work I wasn't able to but I will be back to give it a try. They also have a patio section for when the weather is treating us right. We came here after spending half the day at the Children's Museum. You prefer when you walk in and it felt a bit intimidating as the menu is rather large. I just wasn't quite sure what I wanted. i'm not sure how much English the ladies who prepare your Pizza speak because they really weren't a lot of help with trying to figure out the menu. My four year old niece got a classic cheese, kids pizza and my sister and I had a delicious pizza that I do not remember the name of. The cross was by far some of the bus crust I've had in a very long time. They have a patio, which is a really small, but the restaurant next-door also has a patio as well. I think if they re-organize their patio furniture it would give off more space that they need when more than two families are eating outside. read more

Great option for lunch after a tour through Houston's museum district. I had the Transco Hot Pep pizza, and the spicy jalapeno mixed with savory pepperoni keeps me wanting more; it also reminds me of that one scene in Ratatouille where the rat eats the fruit and cheese at the same time. Conveniently located near HCA Medical Center, this spot caters to employees and visitors to the Museum District, Houston Zoo, and Medical Center. It's sandwiched between a taco place, and a high-end steak and seafood restaurant. Order at the counter -- they don't sell slices, but offer a Kid/Small 6" individual pizza all the way up to extra XL pies. The menu also features, pasta, sandwiches, wings, and BYO salad. There's a huge beverage cooler featuring soda and beer, as well as a Coke product soda fountain, and various wine options. I probably would not have ordered the Fried Mushroom appetizer had I known that the Fettuccine was going to be served with a gigantic buttery, garlic breadstick. I ended up taking most of the mushrooms home. The staff was efficient though not effusively friendly. They seemed to be getting everybody's food out quickly for both dine-in and take-out orders. (Which is important for weekday lunch!) I was waiting on a family member who was having outpatient surgery. The best way I can describe the pizza is a final boss version of the pizza you get at an all inclusive resort in Mexico. Decent, but only good for what it is. Came here recently as it was in walking distance from the fine arts museum and it hit the spot! I enjoyed my Fettuccine Alfredo pasta (one of the best breadsticks I've ever had!!) wish the sauce was slightly less watery and more thick but still good flavor. Good but not great. We tried the Transco Hot Pep but without the jalapeños. It was plenty spicy without them. Pretty good but it sounded better on the menu. There was barely any arugula and I couldn't distinguish the hot honey drizzle. Some of the ingredients sort of "got lost" and it just seemed like a spicy pepperoni pizza. Pretty thin (although to be honest, I prefer even thinner pizza but that's just me). Overall, they have a pretty large menu with ample options. We came here after a day touring the Kids Museum. It's about two blocks a short walk. When we ordered the process was quick and easy. I ordered a small personal pizza for my son and wings for me. This place was recommended to the group of SHSU students on a trip to Houston Holocaust Museum. It arrived just as I finished my can of beer so I ticked right in. It was an outstanding sammie that had just enough meat and veg on it so nothing got lost in the bite. I wolfed it down and savored each bite. The crunch of the loaf countered the meats and cheese and made nice with the crisp of the veg. I would recommend this hoagie to anyone that asked. My daughter had some garlic knots, so I scored one to try out. It was oily and garlicky and doughy ... unctuousness in the pinch of my fingers. Downed that nugget of umami in two bites. Fia's AC was broken so it was hot when my family and I dined here. They had a fan (which didn't do much) but my family whom I ate with, was here a week ago and said it was broken then too which was concerning considering the Houston heat/humidity. Love this pizza shop!!! I'm really picky about pizza unless I'm drunk and we came here after work at the health museum. The dough here is amazing. The crust is crispy. I like the self service with the drinks. The pasta was delicious. I love pesto so maybe I'm biased. I will say the one thing that I did not enjoy. It was the boneless wings as you can see from my photos they were not completely sauced. They were just kind of thrown on top of a bit of sauce and they look more like popcorn. Chicken bites out of a bag. I understand the boneless wings or not whole wings, but give them a different shape or something. They look like chicken balls. This is a great spot to go catch up with friends and gossip. The employees bring your food to the table and that's it. You don't have someone hounding your every move. Plus I was craving a salad for some reason. I like how the decor and ambience was inside the restaurant. Felt warehousey/industrialish vibe to it. I got the build your own salad and the lady that helped me was very helpful in explaining how it all worked. Salad - great portion size imo it filled me up pretty good. You can literally put everything they have there on your salad if you wanted. One thing I kind of wished was better is the quality of their meat selection. If you are in the museum of natural science area and want better option for food, walk no further than 2 blocks away from the museum to Fia's. We initially wanted to walk further down to another restaurant, stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and decided to give it a go. The BF wanted something to eat and decided the 12 dozens bone in wing ($17.49) with hot honey and a cold beer sounds good. Counter service- you go grab your beer from the fridge, you walk up to the cashier and place your food order. They'll give you a number and send the food over. For the area, this place is reasonably priced and the food is good. It serves much better food than the cafeteria in the museum of natural science. read more

This is my go to place while visiting my wife in Houston or she is hospitalized at Vibra hospital. Having been there several times prices are very reasonable. I've tried the 11 inch pizzas, different ones the meatballs and the turkey hoagie. All of which are excellent. I will continue to go while we are in the area. Staff gets a thumbs up. read more

The pizza consisted of tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, olive oil, and garlic. I was expecting the tomatoes to be cut in slices but it came as diced tomatoes.
