Jamen's quote was super reasonable, and once we confirmed the bid, he found us a start date right away. Jamen confirmed that one of his crew would be coming to do the job. His guy - Paolo - came punctually on the agreed upon time, explained the process, and did an awesome job repairing our tile!! Not only did he work quickly and efficiently, but he worked meticulously and made sure not to damage any existing tile. The first day took from about 9-1:30 pm to demo, cut, and set new tile. The second day he came back to do the grout (took less than an hour). Paolo explained that they wanted to make sure the tile was set/dry before grouting so that the grout color didn't blend into wet tileset color (which was white). When Jose came to our home for a free estimate, I was impressed by his professionalism and attention to detail in asking what we wanted and in taking the wall measurements. He has a very likeable, calm demeanor. He also recommended a different tile company to us other than Home Depot. We were convinced and hired him! He wrote a proposal for the job details and final price. Jose arrived on time and got right to work. He has a crew, but he completed this work by himself. The floors and counters were protected with cloth. He also covered the patio area with a large cloth so the patio surface was protected. He installed the tile and also requested specific grout and schluter to perfectly match the tile. He perfectly cut and fitted the tile in the pattern that we requested. Jose worked so fast that he was able to complete this small job (48 square feet) that day. He was also able to apply the grout. He thoroughly cleaned the work area. I was overly impressed because initially this was going to be a two-day job. He cares about the quality of product produced. I seriously and highly recommend FRG Tile Company.
