They do have a pool as well as a nice size laundry room with four washers and four dryers everything operated on quarters. It was two dollars to wash a load at $1.25 for 45 minutes of drying. They did offer us a menu when we arrive for a barbecue restaurant. I've included a picture of that, but the prices were really high so we did not partake. They were friendly at check-in as well. You were just a couple miles from the small town of Santa Rosa, looks like they have events and stuff happening down there so might want to check out the local calendar. We also found a little gym called Lyons heart that would let you do a day pass for $10, you can see that review separately. They sell them year round and have the good stuff, including some really big mortars, which were super tempting. There's also a dairy queen, and a few gas pumps, to round out anything you might need on your road trip! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I dropped by at an off time to use the facilities, and they had no problem with that. Everything was reasonably clean as well. Overall you can't go wrong with dropping by here on any road trip. Just give yourself some time because there is a lot to look at and shop!

I was choosing a souvenir t shirt to buy. She stormed off, to the cash register, & I heard her grumbling about messing up the t-shirts, and saying "I have to fold every goddamn t-shirt!" She snarled at me, & said she tried to help me, but I wouldn't listen, & she didn't appreciate me "messing up" her t-shirts. I only looked at 2 of them, and she acted like I ransacked the whole table. I told her that I'm a customer, & she shouldn't talk this way to me, & that I'm not buying anything due to her bad attitude. So, it's definitely not a "welcome" center. These towns along Rt. 66, get visitors from all over the world, especially now, with the 100 year anniversary. The Rt. 66 Welcome center could improve by having someone who is pleasant, and helpful, to provide information about Tucumcari, so travelers can plan their time there. So, skip this place, if you're looking for souvenirs. Some of the restaurants (like Del's) and the vintage motels have gift items that they sell. Or, try the Curio shop across the street.

Leigh was able to schedule our remarriage for that following Saturday. We were greeted with professionalism and great care. We were provided with witnesses and our officiate who are also fellow business owners. Our wedding ceremony was everything we had hoped it would be from ceiling to floor beautiful (and calming) decorations. Our photos were gorgeous and our "bubble send off" was so much fun! Our second walk down the aisle was even more meaningful and our officiate Yvonne knew just what to say which was exactly what was in our hearts and minds.
