After you get pizza at Borillos you have to check out LULI'S on the St. Augustine strip. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating area is pretty large to meet some friends and have a giant cupcake and nice coffee.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the Cannoli cupcake and the baker was so nice to go in the back and frost and fill one for us. The next time I would like to try one of their cake slices.

    Vanilla cupcake - ok.

We pulled in on a whim because we were in need of a sweet baked treat! We were welcomed by a friendly mother and son duo who helped guide us through their baked confectionary goods. Their shop is quaint and cute! We tried several cupcakes and they were ok. I would not go back for the cupcakes, but they were a good frosting to cake ratio if you like a good buttercream! What is going to bring us back is the cookie sandwiches! OMG! We really liked all the cookies; chocolate chip, peanut butter, and oatmeal. Then slap two of them together with a layer of buttercream goodness and you my friend have elevated a good cookie to Mount Olympus status! Well done my friends, well done To those about to create some cavities, I salute you!

Eww, take a broom to it or something...

Haven't been here since before Covid and I was disappointed to find out it has changed hands. They used to sell "day olds" for a few dollars off and don't sell that anymore. They have this massive cookie sandwich that looks like it'll give anyone a stomachache-just not appetizing. They still have a little fridge but I remember milk being sold and poured from behind the counter so I asked. Guy not so nicely told me they do and waved toward the fridge. I looked and said "oh so if it's not in there you're out?" Why not just say that?? Rude, it's a CUPCAKE SHOP dude not Saks Fifth Ave. We ordered 2 cupcakes, they were ok enough. Not ok enough to return to deal with the counter boy again. We walked down the street to the ice cream shop and was greeted by a super friendly clerk, I would go to THAT shop again.

This cute shop in St. Augustine's San Marco AV area is a great stop and has some of the largest delicious cupcakes! We tried the Cookie Monster and cappuchino. They also have some drinks and water bottles. There are tables both inside & out on the porch. One more star if they would add some smaller cupcakes or other food items -- these are HUGE for kids.

We used LuLi's for our wedding day and were amazed with the entire process. The tasting process was a ton of fun. The cannoli and strawberry flavor were delicious. Brian was our contact and he was amazing. Our cake turned out beautiful and all guests enjoyed it! Can't wait to come back just for the cupcakes as they're amazing!

$4.25 for a homemade cupcake ... with perfect Buttercream frosting, in all sorts of flavors & no fake colors!!! I enjoyed a Key Lime cupcake, but couldn't eat it all, despite it being quite tasty! The interior was bright, clean, with super friendly staff. Parking is practically non-existent, but these little cupcakes are worth the walk! Or, heck... do the Park & Ride tour & ask Mr/Ms Trolley driver to do a 'stop & shop' & catch it on the return! Def a 'go to' for dessert, when shopping 'Old Town' St. Augustine and especially nice, when shared with a friend!!

Cupcakes to be mailed ($10 ea). Verbally told they'd exp. in 10 days (5/14), but saw the 5/7 exp. when we traveled home. Shady sale.

Delicious cupcakes! Our family bought five different ones to share the evening of purchase and we loved all of them. I took away one star because we bought some cupcakes to-go for family, were told they expire in "about ten days" (they come compressed in a sealed plastic container- see pic), but when we got home today we unpacked the cupcakes and noticed an expiration date sticker for 5/7 (we bought them on 5/4). So, we were sold cupcakes that weren't fresh and told we had well over one week before they expire, only to discover that they have maybe three days until expiration. We bought them for family members that we won't see until on 5/9. It's safe to say, we won't be gifting these. So, long story short, the cupcakes were delicious, but we felt the sale of the to-go cupcakes was a bit shady.

Went to St Augustine for part of the day. I don't go as often as I like, mostly because it can get a little people-y. But today was a beautiful day and most everyone is back at work after the holidays so it was a perfect time to go. . I found this little gem of a cupcakery called Luli's Cupcakes. They make their cupcakes fresh daily. Mondays is "$1 mini Mondays." Their mini cupcakes are only $1 each, so we got 4. It was the perfect amount. And they were tasty. We got cinnamon role with maple syrup and bacon, key lime, red velvet, and chocolate cheesecake. . Next time you're in St Augustine and you're craving something sweet, go check out Luli's

Had a custom cake done for my nephews and niwces birthday (Minions Theme) They loved it and can't wait to have a cake like this again

    Beautiful spot for sweets!

Best cupcakes EVER!!!!! Moist and delicious sweets! Do not miss out on tasting Lulis Cupcakes. It's one of those experiences you'll never regret!

I am updating my review. I made a typo on price. Cupcakes are in the $4.50 range instead of $6.50. Cupcakes are good and I will return on my next visit.

During that initial stay, I walked here a couple of times to pick up treats and they didn't disappoint. Since then it has become a go-to when we have guests visiting and want to have dessert on hand. It is a pretty interior space with desserts and treats galore. They are beautifully made and a treat for all your senses. The staff on my visits have always been so friendly and helpful. (I love the southern hospitality we experience at so many places in St. Augustine.) My favorite treat may just be the cannoli. They are smaller sized than what I am used to back home...but this is good thing! in my opinion. There are an assortment of chocolates, brownies, cookies, some candies, croissants...and a variety of cakes and pies. We are not huge sweets eaters but this place is hard to resist.

The stand outs were the pumpkin flavored desserts including the cheesecake. They were so flavorful, I kept going for more. I also got the raspberry cheesecake which didn't have enough raspberry flavor but had a delicious crust. I will come back here the next time I'm in the area and try more.

I ordered two glasses of Prosecco and she informs me that they are out of Prosecco. What!? I then order a can of IPA and a glass of white wine for my gf, which took way too long to get. Plus my beer wasn't even that cold and her wine wasn't good either. I asked about the cheese tray + wine and she looked confused. I asked her what cheeses came on it and she said she didn't know, but she'd find out, but never did. lol. I came here prepared to buy a bottle of Prosecco and a cheese tray to sit outside and enjoy with my gf but that didn't happen. If you are working at a place you should know the couple things that you do serve and know them very well. There also wasn't any clean glasses for the spa water. The deserts did look good but god forbid I asked either of them a question about them because they would have looked at me befuddled. I highly doubt I'll ever come back here again. Good luck with your questions and selections.

The cake pop was really the only item that drew praise from my crew. Breakfast croissants were "mid" per my teens... I now know what an overdone eggs tastes like. The combination of imaginative cocktails, exceptional food, and a unique atmosphere makes every visit memorable. The cocktail program is outstanding. We enjoy trying a variety of their exotic and inventive drinks, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant bar. The Yellow Submarine cocktail is quite possibly the best drink I have ever consumed. Made with curry-infused Bermuda black rum, lime, ginger, and Asian five-spice brown sugar syrup, it sounded unusual on paper but came together beautifully. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered four of them that evening, something I rarely do. That was three years ago, and despite returning several times since then, I have never seen it on the menu again. The food is equally impressive. Two years ago, I ordered the Skillet Roasted New York Strip served with Yukon Gold potato-anna, roasted asparagus and spring onions, watercress, and black truffle hollandaise. To this day, it remains one of the top five restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Every component on the plate was exceptional. The steak was perfectly prepared, the crispy potato galette was irresistible, and the black truffle hollandaise elevated the entire dish to another level. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after the plate is cleared. I would gladly drive 300 miles just to eat it again. Most recently, I had the wild mushroom bisque, and it was the best soup I have ever consumed. Rich, creamy, buttery, intensely mushroomy, and perfectly balanced, it was everything a mushroom soup should be. The addition of crispy pickled onions and crème fraîche added texture and contrast that made an already outstanding soup even better. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day hoping to order it again, only to discover it had already rotated off the menu. My only complaint about The Ice Plant is that some of their greatest creations seem to disappear as quickly as they arrive. While I appreciate the constantly evolving menu and understand that seasonal changes are part of what makes the restaurant special, there are certain items that deserve a permanent home. The Yellow Submarine cocktail, the wild mushroom bisque, and the Skillet Roasted New York Strip with black truffle hollandaise are three of the finest things I have experienced there. The fact that I can vividly remember one of these items from three years ago and another from two years ago says everything. Great restaurants serve good food. Truly special restaurants create dishes and drinks that stay with you for years. The Ice Plant has done that for me more than once, and that is why we continue to return whenever we visit St. Augustine.

When I arrived with my pregnant wife and my service dog, he asked somewhat curtly if it was a service dog. After I confirmed and thanked him, he rudely placed the menu on the table, turned around without saying another word or showing any basic courtesy, and just walked away with his back to us. It was a pretty cold and uncomfortable welcome. That said, the restaurant is absolutely charming. I really loved the interior ambiance--it's cozy, well-decorated, and has a very pleasant vibe. The food was extremely delicious. We ordered the Half Pound Ice Plant Burger and it was juicy, fresh, and packed with flavor. You could taste the quality in every single bite--the meat was perfect, the ingredients fresh, and everything very well balanced. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had recently. Despite the initial host experience, I would return without hesitation for the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommended, but they could improve the initial greeting.
