I was going n town visiting family and we stopped at this location to shop for veggies at the neighboring produce stand a seafood market and wanted to grab some fresh baked desserts and this place did not disappoint! They make fresh breads , cookies, brownies, scones, turnovers, cheesecakes and even sell discounted day old breads! We grabbed an apple turnover, pistachio , strawberry and oreo cheesecakes and enjoyed them throughly . The man behind the counter was so kind, informative and helpful. It is a small spot with intent to grab and go and was very busy with many locals delighted to return and share their favorites! The ambiance is quaint and humble with display cases and everything was meticulously labeled with prices and flavors. We will definitely be back to try more baked goods and you should stop in and support this business!! read more

Their cheesecakes "may be"heavenly, but their service is some of the worst I've ever had anywhere I've ever gone. I ordered a cheesecake to go and it took so long. I told the manager I was going next-door to check out Kyle's Seaford highly recommended when I came back he had put the cheesecake back in the case? He told me he thought I wasn't coming back? So as they were getting ready to box up my cheesecake, I asked the attendant if you would please cut the cheesecake for me. What I thought was a simple request turned into a huge problem as he told me NO then another woman behind the counter said they don't do it because maybe they wouldn't cut the pieces all exactly equally I told her I don't care if they're equal I just simply wanted the cheesecake cut again they refused? At this I was so upset I said keep your cheesecake and left. read more

We came out of Kyle's and saw the Daily sign say "Datil Pepper Burger Buns". Um, what? We had to go over and check it out. This shop is really small. Only maybe 4 people max can be in there looking around. The Key Lime cheesecakes caught my eye but I was trying to be good. He bought the Burger Buns and a 4-pack of Cranberry Cheesecake Muffins. The muffins were incredible! Even my mother who can be a hard sell said they were "very good". That's high praise. The burger buns are not as spicy as one would think but they added just the right amount of kick and flavor to an otherwise plain bread. Will definitely come back on my next Kyle's trip. read more

This is THE best cheesecake I have ever eaten. Better than Juniors, or any other NY cheesecake, baked or otherwise; even better than my grandma's Italian ricotta cheesecake. So having said that -- obviously there are different types! We all have our favorites. I much prefer my own homemade over my bff's - whose cheesecake tastes like a refrigerator cheesecake, but she claims she makes the best. Don't tell her I said hers is so-so. And when it comes to turn-off-the-oven-and-leave-it for two more hours Italian ricotta six eggs grandma Dearie's, well mine is now the best - my Dad agreed. Grated lemon, ricotta, cream cheese and mascarpone, and dash of almond extract- Zwieback for the hint of a crust- a 4 generation recipe from Naples, adapted by my dad, perfected by moi. But for a creamy, dreamy taste of - well, heaven on earth, nobody does cheesecake like Heavenly!!! I will never bake another! My friend Flossy and I could easily sit down with 2 forks and polish one off in a single sitting. The cakes are pricey, but those who bake using prime ingredients will understand. We tried the raspberry but both of us prefer plain- nothing but cheesecake. They do sell other flavors if you prefer. So good, so dreamy, so creamy, so Heavenly!!! PS they also sell cookies, scones, breads, frozen cheesecakes on a stick coated in chocolate & now individual sizes! The truth is in their name-these cheesecakes ARE heavenly!!! This is our first visit to St. Augustine and I had Heavenly Cheesecakes on my "must try" list for our vacation, and I'm so glad we made it by there. The cheesecakes are so smooth and flavorful, the graham cracker crust is buttery and adds just enough texture to complement the cheesecake filling. We got had the plain, chocolate, and strawberry individual cheesecakes, as well as a few cookies. The chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies tasted homemade and were perfectly baked and very tasty. There were plenty of other goodies to try, like cinnamon rolls that looked to die for, and some turnover type items as well. The owner was helpful and friendly, and he's working some magic with these cheesecakes. 5 stars! read more

I live in Jacksonville and drive to St Augustine once a month just to purchase 4 loaves of their delicious flax bread. I keep one loaf to eat right away and pop the other sliced loaves in the freezer. Once thawed they taste just as good as fresh and I can avoid the bad tasting grocery store breads. read more

We stumbled upon this place 1 day driving home from st augustine. Stopped in and bought a strawberry 6 in. It was delish. Went back before Xmas eve and he was sold out. Seems everyone was smart and pre ordered . So I pre ordered for new years eve . I must say I did have huge sticker shock when it cost me 70 for a 9 inch key lime and a 6 inch white chocolate. They were ready when I arrived on Saturday 12/30. Saved for NYE. They were fantastic. The white chocolate was a little thick but im not sure what I was expecting when I ordered it . My mother in law showed up with half a dozen of these marvelous cinnamon rolls and as someone who has always been obsessed with cinnamon rolls I have to say these are magical fluffy pillows. Now, I have no idea what goes into making a cinnamon roll but this is by far the softest, fluffiest and most delicious one I have ever had the privilege of trying. The icing is very good, perhaps it could be a bit less sweet and it would put this over the top. We are having a family gathering at the end of the month and I already know we will need to place a special order for them. My mother in law has told tales about these perfect cinnamon rolls for a while now but she could never get to the store on time before they all got sold out! We got very lucky this past weekend. I look forward to personally visiting their shop and tasting other items that I am certain will be as glorious as this cinnamon roll. read more

This is a HIDDEN gem in St Augustine. I stumbled upon them since they are next to Kyle's Seafood (another great smell business). I decided to pick up a Blueberry and a Reese's Peanut Butter cup Cheesecake for a last minute dessert and everyone RAVED about the cheesecakes. Not too light, not too heavy, just perfect. EXCELLENT. Don't let the hole-in-the-wall appearance fool you; behind the door of this tiny, modest establishment is a MASTER baker. I purchased a 12 inch plain cheesecake for a party and wow, was it a hit. When the hostess finally got around to trying the cake she announced that it was the best cheesecake she had ever tasted in her 68 years. She promptly got up and cut a slice that was almost a quarter of the cake and took it to the kitchen to save for her mother who wasn't able to attend.
