My own take is that she was usually a step slower than others to respond. And while everyone else went to look at the condo before getting back to me, she didn't. Both of these may be on account of the fact that she holds down a different day job. Absolutely do not trust this man!! He is a real estate agent who also rents out his own properties…read more However, being a real estate agent, we thought he was looking out for our interests as well. We were wrong. He pushed us to sign a lease for a move-in date while he was out of the country. He promised that keys would be given by previous tenant and repairs would be completed on the home within 15 days. No keys were provided, he disappeared for the walk-through. When the walk-through was done without him being present, a considerable amount of mold was discovered and he was immediately notified. My daughter has asthma, this is a serious concern for us. His response was to deny it exists and try to paint over the areas that were visible within the home. As more and more mold was discovered he tried to claim we had moved in and therefore responsible for the home. We never had a walk-through with him, never moved a single item into the home, never received keys, never had any utilities turned on, or had any address change. A licensed mold inspector, that Mr. Santiago refused to pay for, discovered mold throughout the home, including in the A.C. ducts, under the home, in the walls, floors, and crawl space. This mold was sampled and lab tested and came back as positive with Stachybotrys, which is the well-known toxic "black-mold. Nearly $25-$30k worth of repairs & mold mediation needed for the home to be deemed safe. He has continued to deny the findings and claims the house is safe. He has kept nearly $5,000 and provided absolutely nothing but lies, an explosive temper, and total lack of integrity. We are currently filing a law suit against him and fully expect to get all of our money back. Nothing but an absolute headache. There are a lot of honest, hardworking, trustworthy realtors out there! Go to one of them, and skip the heartache, loss of money, and intimidation you will receive from this slum lord.

Haven't been here 5 months & I'm experiencing cracked tiles, cracks in the crown molding, holes in the ceiling, electrical issues, you can hear the toilets flush & water drain from every room in the home, & so much more shorty work. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUILDER! My 45 day walk through hasn't happened yet but there's no way they will be able to fix any of this in 2 days of scheduled work!!! I've been out of town filming & when I come home I want to relax but I cannot because something is wrong every single day. #boycottrocklynhomes
