    Indian Taco
    Darlene K.

We saw that Lulu's had Indian tacos and we had just hiked all over The Badlands and were hungry! They did not disappoint! They were big and flavorful with lots of toppings. Very filling too! I'd definitely recommend them.

Prices were very high $29 for 2 Indian Fry Bread Tacos & a Coke. This is pretty much a bar that serves food on the side. Nice staff

Salty Steer - Large Wedge Salad, a very good meal with real chopped bacon and ripe sweet cherry tomatoes. The ranch is better than the blue.

We stopped by earlier to find out what time they were open until and even on July 4th they were still open till 10pm and even said we could walk in at 9:30 and still get served. We came back close to 9 pm. I wanted something light since I was going to be taking pictures for a while. The ultimate wedge salad with sirloin was delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly and my brothers bacon cheeseburger looked like something you would see on an ad. The service was phenomenal, they have a full bar and some nice cocktails as well. It's two levels and plenty of seating. Definitely a place to stop if you're in the Badlands.

The steak fries are terrific and the sides like Brussels sprouts are cooked perfectly. I haven't had the steaks but they serve prime beef and if the burgers are any indication, them I wouldn't hesitate to try them if that's what you're looking for. Is it perfect? No. The salads are overdressed (no surprise for South Dakota). But you won't do better around here. Wander into Wall Drug to say you did. Get a 5 cent cup of coffee if you like. Then walk over to Salty Steer for the only good meal you'll find near Badlands.

Salty Steer - Outstanding regular cheeseburger with crisp steak fries. Great juicy burger, ordered medium rare and cooked perfectly.

We went inside and while there were tables available, many were still dirty and stayed that way during the duration of our meal. Not a great look for the restaurant. We started the fancy fried pickles and chislic. The fried pickles were different with the prosciutto and mozzarella cheese, but we still enjoyed them. The chislic was tough/chewy and not as good as Thirsty's next door. My husband and I split the buffalo meatloaf. The meatloaf was dry, but I enjoyed the overall flavor. Overall, I was not impressed with this restaurant and was disappointed with service and how the meals were cooked at Murphy's. We just had better food during our trip, so it's hard to recommend this one.

Decent amount of filling. Main complaint is that it is billed w Reuben filling but very little corned beef -- a few diced pieces and some halves seemed to have none. For wings you get 8 traditional or 19 bonus per order. I got the traditional with watermelon jalapeño wet sauce. You get 8 nice plump drums and the sauce is sticky and sweet but not too sweet and spicy but not too spicy. Cant really detect a distinct watermelon flavor. Still good.

They gave you this really cool wristband and all you have to do is tap it to whatever beer you wanna try and then you can pour as much as you want! They have upstairs and downstairs seating, board games, shuffleboard, darts, and TVs spread throughout if you want to catch the game. It's a great place to hang out! The pizza was sooo good! It's Detroit style with a crispy buttery crust. We got the Sizzlin' Sweet Pie which had pineapple, ricotta, bacon, and jalapeños. Delicious! Don't sleep on the fries though! Those things were cooked to perfection, crispy but fluffy on the inside and though they don't look like they are seasoned, they are seasoned perfectly! We all had beer with our pizza but I can see us coming back for a romantic glass of wine and apps date.
