Their focus on mindfulness as well as artistry is super different than any other studio that I've ever been to. Saffron is the most amazing yoga, aerial and movement teacher, not to mention the most adorable, kind, funny and caring person! I haven't met Amy in person yet, but her effervescent personality, knowledge, kind and positive demeanor, skill, caring and supportive nature are outstanding. They form a truly amazing duo. I am in the middle of an online YTT with Saffron and Amy and am loving every moment. The coursework is carefully developed with personality and flare, they truly have created a brand that knits together the concepts of yoga, circus and positive psychology in a way that connects the dots, The CircAsana YTT encourages a deep understanding of all of these topics, showing that they are so interconnected and complimentary, and reinforcing of each other. I have learned so much about yoga theory & practice, my body, and my SELF by completing the coursework. Only being halfway through, his YTT really has had a huge (positive!) impact not only on my body and teaching capabilities, but my self love, self understanding and spiritual journey. The online platform is easy to navigate and super user-friendly. The course load is challenging, yet achievable with my busy life and 40+ hour work schedule. She made me feel amazing and very welcomed even though I'm just an amateur yoga enthusiast. She was very thorough with her instruction and demonstration of challenging Vinyasa poses which I have never done before. And honestly when I've taken other teachers, I receive compliments on my yoga practice because she is so thorough in explaining what muscle groups are being worked, why we're working them, reasons they might be tight, and how to have perfect form during each exercise. She makes learning fun during the class so you don't feel like you're learning. To be honest my first class I saw her and she's this gorgeous, tan blonde, and I thought I'd hate her, but she's hilariously funny and playful throughout the class. Not what I expected. I actually enjoy seeing her in class, she brightens my day and it's a bonus that I feel great when I leave. I sit at a desk for 9 hours and in my car for 2 hours each work day so I need the help, and she helps focus on the muscle groups effected and the ones that need the most work.
