My poor wallet hates me for how much I spend here, but it's true what they say, you get what you pay for. Case in point, I bought a pair of Wunder Unders here about a year ago full price, but never even wore them until 1 month ago. Today I was about to put them on, but I noticed a finger sized hole in the butt seam. SAD FACE. I thought to myself, if there's any company that will stand behind their product, it's Lululemon. They took one look at the pants and said NO PROBLEM! You could tell how new they were based on the seams, and funnily the cashier looked into the side pocket (which I didn't even know it had) and one of those quality control stickers were still inside. Unfortunately, they don't sell the pants in the same material that I bought, but they were happy to assist in finding one to match the similarity. For guys, my husband mind blowingly LOVES the ABC Pants here. He said hands down it's the best and most comfortable pants he has ever worn. They are super pricey at $128/pair, but at least they can double as work pants on casual Friday. read more

Lululemon is a great store. While their clothes are more expensive than average, I think what this store does for the community is phenomenal. They put on fun and free events and are always promoting healthy lifestyles and organizations in the Houston area. They have great partnerships with the Brian O'Neills running club, YogaOne, and Define studio to name a few. For the month of October, they have hosted a free weekly boot camp with 1st class training. And, I participated in their Halloween run a few days ago. I love how they are always finding new and different ways to stay healthy. Since their clothes are high-quality and higher priced, I consider buying their clothes more like a special treat when I want something nice to wear during my workouts. For instance, when I finish my first 10 runs at the BON running club, I promised myself a visit to Lululemon so I can buy a new pair of shorts. I have one more run to go, and I am excited to pay a visit to the store soon! read more

Holy yoga pants Batman!!!.... I popped into LuLulemon last week for the first time. Since I wear yoga pants to work I'm always in the market for a new pair... Yes, these are not your gap/ target/ old navy yoga pants ... In which I mean they cost a lot more but wear like metal ( no really... They have silver in them.) The pants and tank top that I purchased were so comfortable I had a hard time taking them off to pay for them. This store also has the most amazingly helpful sales people and the clothes are organized in a way makes it easy to locate what you're looking for. ... The first time I went to lululemon was for a holiday lights run and I was in shock by the prices. Fast forward a year and I did the same run in all lululemon clothes. The clothes are flattering and made of superior material. I often meet friends after working out so it's nice to look cute when going from gym to dinner. The brand itself is more than just the clothes - they are in the community cheering at races and attending a variety of classes. I mentioned to one of the staff that I was training for a marathon and she even invited me to train with her! Overall I love what the brand stands for down to the saying on the bag. My husband and I are ridiculously loyal to this store because of the staff and of course the merchandise! Lululemon is hands down the best workout gear and casual wear you can buy. It breathes, it lasts, and it is cut to enhance your figure in just the right places ;-) Melinda has assisted us at least a dozen times and she never ceases to impress us and she goes above and beyond consistently! Her smile and energy is contagious which makes her even more of a pleasure to work with each and every time. I want to recognize Caitlin as well. I love lululemon! I can spend my entire paycheck here, seriously. But due to financial responsibility I tend to leave the place empty handed. Hello Santa! The people who work there are very helpful and really nice. I love the store and how they arrange their clothes, it makes shopping easier. The best part of lululemon is the complimentary yoga classes they offer! they are great and absolutely free! I have only gone to one but plan on attending more of the events. One of their yoga ambassadors offered a Candlelight Yoga at the store that was later followed by small eating treats and wine, hello! Free yoga and wine? Sign me up! The best purchase yet for Lululemon is The Mat. I recently started going back to hot yoga and discovered I was slipping on my current mat that I've had for 8+ years. My yoga instructor recommended The Mat from Lululemon. It is a bit pricey but, I always say you have to invest in your health! There are a few different mats to choose from. But, I strongly suggest The Mat for hot yoga. I could tell a world of difference in my yoga practice with this mat. No slipping, grip was firm, and I was able to flow and move gracefully. It's a bit heavy and you'll need to purchase the Loop It Strap separately but overall best investment yet! This location can get busy during peak hours and weekend and parking can be a pain. Staff is friendly and helpful. I like that this location is convenient to get to (not in a mall). They also have a sale rack that you can find goodies at super discounted prices! The complimentary yoga class is wonderful and the yoga instructors are very nice and kind. However, they fail to correct their website on stating the time. Myself and other girls that I witnessed have missed the class because nobody informed us they changed the time for the yoga class. After I complained about it I checked the webpage a few weeks later and it still states the old and wrong time for the class. So even though they know myself and other girls are missing the class, they fail to take their time and correct their webpage. read more

The first thing you should know about Lululemon is that their clothes are expensive, but the second thing you should know is that their clothes are worth it. I've had some of their pants for over three years now, and they all look and feel brand new. If those pants were originally $99, I will tell you I would rather buy that pair of pants that I've had for three years now than have bought one pair of $33 sweat pants once a year. Their clothes just look great in addition to holding up. I wear them everywhere I can get away with, even when I'm not working out. Also, the sizing is such that I wear a smaller size there than I do in regular clothes. Looking at a smaller size on a label helps justify the cost, in my opinion. Especially for the pants - tops and sports bras might be comparable at cheaper places, but there is no substitute for a Lululemon pant. This location is great, with such great service that I will always go in store to buy versus online, and I'm a big online shopper. I almost always utilize the free hemming even though I'm 5'8" because their pants run long if they don't come in a Tall size. They also have a set of sale racks at this location. lululemon makes great tech gear! I just got on the lululemon boat over the summer and it's been great to me on my runs both in the summer and in the recent blustery weather. I have no idea how great it *used* to be so I can't comment on whether or not the quality has actually declined, but my stuff is all holding up well. You just need to be sure to take care of your gear when you're washing it and I think you'll be fine. The staff are awesome and are always trying to help and explain *sell* you stuff so I've remedied this phenomenon by being sure to wear some kind of lululemon gear when I go to the store, they give you a little more space when you do that :P read more

All of the staff are friendly and helpfull and seem knowledgeable about which of their clothes are good for the particular exercise your a shopping for ( I was made to do "burpee"s to make sure my tights fit correctly). I bought a pair of leggings from Highland Village in Houston, Tx. $98. I wore them twice and they shrunk. I called the store and told them what happened. They told me to bring them back to the store and exchange them, no problem. To make a long story short, once i entered the store I recognized the sales clerk that sold me the leggings immediately, and I told her my story. We exchanged the leggings, but once we got to the register she began to argue with me about the leggings. I told her that all I wanted was to exchange the leggings, that I did not want my money back, just exchange. She said "I'll be right back". She left then returned with the manager. Who also began arguing with me. I kept saying, "All I want to do is exchange the leggings. I do not want my money returned." The manager continued to argue with me until I tossed the leggings at her and told her to keep them if she thought they were so perfect. This was my first purchase from Lululemon and i don't need to say, my last! As I walked off, I heard the manager say, "I was going to help you". Really? Why she said this, I have no idea...maybe to save face, but what a liar. After hearing about this place from a friend I met in Kickboxing, I had to come check it out. After walking in I fell in love with the atmosphere of the store and the people who work there. Each and every one of them were welcoming and very friendly. I pretty much hangout at the gym whenever I can :) which puts extreme wear and tear on my workout gear. The quality and the style of lululemon wear is where it's at!!! Not to mention, I am a pretty tall girl with long legs and it's really hard for me to find awesome workout pants that are long enough. I visited your store this past Saturday around 10am. Must say it's slightly intimidating when the store is packed and being a male, I'm 33, it's slightly awkward walking into a predominantly female business. Kind of like shopping at Victoria's Secret by myself. I received a ton of assistance from your Team, but Melinda stood out like no other. Being a man we don't have the greatest ideas of what works/fits and she nailed it. She was constantly checking in on me and bringing me different styles sizes etc.. Needless to say she was slammed with every dressing room full and the store being packed, not once did she allow for a delay in helping anyone and everyone with a smile and genuine desire to make her customers happy. I worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years and have come to appreciate above and beyond performance. I have been to Lululemon Athletica a few times with my sister, but I never really cared to look around the store due to the steep prices for their active clothes. One day, while picking up some pants my sister left for alterations, I decided to look around and try on some pieces, and I fell in love with their clothes. They were extra comfortable and flattering. When I am not working out, I am usually wearing them too. Most of the pieces are a little too steep for my pocket, but they do have a section for sale pieces online, so always keep an eye on the we've made too much section on the website. In the store, they only have a small rack of on sale pieces as well. A definite plus... the shorts really don't ride up! The atmosphere of the shop is great. The salesladies are always flowing with positivity and are always very helpful. The attitude of the shop is amazing. Care-free. They offer free alterations for their items! Fantastic! read more

Out of all the locations, this is one of the best. My husband found pants here- but not in the color he wanted. The associates went the extra mile to check their backstock as well as contacting the surrounding stores to locate the exact ones he wanted. The clothes also fit him well, which is more than I can say for most. He has very broad shoulders, is quite tall, but with a narrow waist. I'd suggest this shop for any men who have an issue finding things big enough for their shoulders and trim enough for their waist. I, myself, didn't find anything at this time but was helped by the staff when searching for the few items I was looking for. However, they were out of stock completely. The team here is on point. Every time I'm at this store, I wait in the check out line for at least 20 minutes. The cashiers can't seem to ever figure out how to work the POS system. There is always a system malfunction. Additionally, the cashiers have no sense of urgency- they will spend 10 minutes talking to one customer about nothing related to checking them out. I once waited in line for 20 minutes because one of the cashiers was talking to the customer about the houses they live in. No consideration or awareness for other people's time. read more

So, in the past two years since I wrote my initial review, I've made quite a few luon investments. Not as many as some of those people in my yoga classes who always seem to have the newest colors/patterns, but a comfortable amount. Speaking of comfort, if you've ever sweat (a lot) in cheap workout clothes, then also sweat in lululemon clothes, we'd be on the same page. The clothes wick, yes like all workout clothing claims to do, but lulu's clothes properly wick. For example, let us look at hot yoga. Buckets of sweat pass through your pores, including the water that was once in the bottle sitting at the head of your mat. Once your pants or your cute scoop neck top absorb the one to two pounds of water, they don't stretch out in weird shapes. (Stupid Gap top that is slowly stretching out along the under arm seams!) Oh, and sweat marks? If I wasn't dripping sweat from my elbows, nose, forehead, legs, etc, you wouldn't think that my clothes were soaked through just by looking at them. Well, it depends on the item and color, but certainly not in the same category as any other brand's tank that I've ever worked out in. Also, the fabric is almost as comfortable sopping wet with sweat as it is when you first enrobe. This is obviously a comfort after an hour and a half holding poses in 108 degrees, 1,000% humidity. Oh, and if you get the silver-lined items, they will never stink - no bacteria. That last bit also includes The Mat. As to the specific items I like/love: *Wunder Unders ARE that amazing *The Ta-Ta Tamer is the best, most perfect sports bra you will ever find, don't scoff at the price *The Scoop Neck tank is flattering and keeps sweat off the back of your neck *The No Limits Tank is flattering on virtually ALL body types, it's in the way the outer shell fabric lays *The Manduka Mat and the Mat Towel are the Coupe de Ville of yoga mats/towels and so, so, so worth the price tag read more

I came in at 2 PM on a Tuesday. The music was blaring incredibly loud. I was never greeted by a staff member or asked if I needed help. I finally asked an employee about the studio pant and she shortly replied, "They are online only." She didn't even offer to place an order for me. She also lied to me, because I know for a fact that the studio pant are NOT online only. When you look at the website, you can check store availability. I was really set on buying some pants that day so I tried on a few different pants. No one helped me into the fitting room or offered to bring me different sizes. I'm a loyal lululemon customer but I refuse to spend any money at this location. I'm extremely disappointed in the customer service here. read more

My chest doesn't quite warrant a letter home. Perhaps it could get a two-page drunken text home. However, my chest has always had a secret weapon. Well, not so secret. This weapon is more in your face. I'm talking about the push-up bra, something to wear with form-fitting tees, second dates (when it's already been established you're not a saucy wench), and a night with the girls (yes, both sets) out on the town. My butt, too, is of modest proportions, but never had that extra help my chest has occasionally gotten until lululemon. lululemon's bottoms are like push-up bras for your butt. The tops are pretty durned sassy as well. You've got to go running? The men might not want to pass you by, as they're too busy enjoying the view. Running of the errands variety? If you see a cute guy, you've got options: reaching for the items on the top shelf and bending over to get something from the bottom shelf. lululemon's got you covered. Sometimes barely. My cousins in Vancouver (where lululemon started) bought me my first lululemon pair of cropped yoga pants. Most of lululemon's clothes are made from luon, which are moisture-wicking, pre-shrunk, and stretchy without being too stretchy. You can make a few stops after working out if you haven't exercised too vigorously. Your buckets of sweat have magically turned into cups. Speaking of cups, the bras and tanks have removable cups (a molded and smooth chest? YES). There are more traditional bras (thick straps, U-shape in the front), but others that are more suitable to wearing underneath tanks and tees for more support. I like the Flow Y bra, which has thin straps. Some bras are more suited for less vigorous activities, such as the Deep V and Not So Deep V bras (the latter? yeah, still pretty banging with lots of cleavage). Even if you only do yoga, you still might need a bra underneath some of the tanks, as, once while I was downward-dogging, one of my frontal assets nearly slipped out of the Power Y tank. Oops. Some tanks, such as the Cool Racerback (good for running) don't come with a shelf, so you do need an additional bra. For your asset assets, lululemon has straight leg pants (Groove pants), legging-type pants (Wunder Under pants), crops (loose all over--which I don't think look particularly good; tight all over; or tight on top, and loose at the very bottom). There are loose shorts, bike shorts, shorter shorts, and really short shorts for hot yoga (your ass isn't just going to feel sassy, it's going to feel pretty cheeky). lululemon also has form-fitting running jackets, more casual jackets, and gear (water bottles, bags, yoga blocks, etc.). Of course, you can try clothes in store. I only bought my own lululemon gear after I'd unknowingly dropped my gifted pair on a sidewalk at night (dear homeless person: you look really sexy). These clothes aren't cheap, but the website has a more extensive sale section (final sale) than in store, and there's always free shipping. The website is pretty informative, with customer reviews and info on the extent of support and/or the sort of activity for which the products are suited. lululemon stores offer free yoga classes, which you can check for online. One of the things I love about this location is that, rather than yoga only, its classes (11am on Sundays) are a sampling of various fitness activities around town, including Piyolet (pilates, yoga, ballet fusion), boot camps, Krav Maga (Israeli martial arts), and modern dance. Snap Kitchen and My Fit Foods have both shown up once. I didn't have to go to Central Market for free samples then (kidding!). lululemon also does stuff with Brian O'Neill's, and sometimes has yoga or pilates mid-week as well. The gift of yoga was also amped up in Vancouver during the Olympics. I was there and got a one-week pass to YYoga, which has various locations around Vancouver. Ohhhhhh, I have yet to see a Houston yoga studio beat their showers. Wooza. The sales associates (I think they're called team members or something more yoga flowy) are friendly and cute. Pants come in regular and tall, but there's also free hemming. I once had to get a pair of bike shorts hemmed, the bottom of which was banded in rubber. Since it had that complicated bottom bit, I was advised to bring it directly to the tailor, rather than handing it off to the store. The tailor was insistent that I had to pay, because of the added work with the bottom bit. I was equally insistent that I did not and that she should call lululemon. I did get a call from the store. However, it was to tell me that, of course, they could pay for the added cost, but the smaller rubber band could be problematic higher up on my thigh. I went with their suggestion, which was a good idea, as I'd vastly overestimated how much needed to be hemmed. Let's just say I don't wear those shorts in polite company. In fact, they're my pole dancing shorts. Ha! lululemon, thanks for turning my bottom into a dunkable badonkadonk. read more

Lulu-whatchamacallit?! How do you pronounce this? Lu-Lu-Lemon? No, thats not right. I think sounds like Lu-Lu-Mon. Kinda like pokemon except with lu lu at the start. The first time I heard of luluemon I was given some of their clothes for free to evaluate by running in them. The clothes felt okay but I felt that they were more appropriate for yoga rather than for running. The shorts were a little baggy and there wasn't alot of reflective cloth on them. But then again, I'm a guy. It seems that females love this stuff as I see so many of them wearing lululemon brand clothing in Memorial Park that it isn't rare anymore. Anyways, I went here to do some last minute christmas shopping and anytime I can avoid the galleria the better. I got my sister into running and she was asking me for some blue jacket to match her blue running shoes. "Whatever." I said. As I entered the double glass doors into the store, I noticed how bright and colorful the store was. I was quickly greeted by the salesgirl and asked her "Do you have any blue running jackets in extra small?" She showed me some jackets and there was a jacket in blue but the sizing is different here compared to other places. I think the sizes go by number, so I got a size 2 for my sister. I also decided to get yoga mat for my brother who likes to do p90x...whatever that is. I was led to the yoga mats in the back and asked the sales girl for a yoga mat for a guy...which sounded like a paradox to me at the time. I got one that was non-slide-y. I paid for the items and the shopping bag was a reusable tote bag. My sister and brother ended up enjoying the items I got from here, so I guess I'm a fan. read more

I went in to exchange some of my leggings because they just didn't fit and they were kinda tearing at the seams, the lady told me that "I couldn't just exchange them bc I wanted a new pair" and I was like "okay, understandable" but I had multiple friends and my mother take in there worn out lululemons to exchange them for a pair that was better. But I was taken back by how this lady was actually being somewhat demeaning asking if I saw a "tik tok" video of a girl exchanging her lululemons? I'm sorry but no. And to top it all off I went to go shop around after that incident because I truly did want to get another pair of leggings since I workout quiet often and my leggings were in need of replacement and as I was looking for some leggings and trying to disregard how rude that lady was to me, she ends up going to the back to gossip about me to one of her coworkers not realizing I was just in earshot hearing everything she was saying. If it wasn't for the other employees being so attentive and helpful with my questions and helping me find the items that I wanted I would've given this place 1 star. My experience at this lululemon was far from pleasant. Just treat people with basic human decency and don't go gossiping and making fun of customers while the customer is standing directly in earshot. read more

I probably have stepped foot twice in an actual Lululemon store due to being an online shopper of their We Made Too Much section. First store I went to was in Vancouver and this is my second or maybe third as I do recall going to one in Austin a few years ago. Anyway, I parked in this lot area due to needing to go to the Apple Store since the spots were plentiful. When I came back from the Apple Store, I decided to stop in this wonderful mecca of yoga and work out clothing. Everyone was so friendly! This one lady named Sarah or maybe she spells it Sara? was just so nice when I told her I was excited to actually touch and feel the products due to always being an online shopper of their stuff. She told me all about their running apparel since that is what i needed. Running tops for the winter and for the marathon but with POCKETS. Let me tell you, I ended up finding all sorts of tops with extra pockets! Cause putting stuff in shorts pockets made my shorts feel like they were coming off in my last race. Problem solved! I bought a 1/2 zip up that had pockets that was in the final sale section and also one of their newer tops that was a long sleeve but had extra storage built in. I got excited and wanted more stuff but had to control myself. This store is really laid out well, uber nice employees who know about their products, and the stuff is definitely worth the price you pay. The one top I got in the final sale section was $59 (orig $98) and the other newer top was $88. I could not find these type of tops with storage I needed anywhere else and the quality is just superb. I saw that they do hemming of pants here on their yoga pants and I think just any pants they sell. This is great since alot of times yoga pants sold everywhere are too long on me and end up getting frayed. I only own their crops and capris but now that I know about the hemming, i can buy Lulu yoga pants! Thank you Highland Village Lulu store! Lululemon is a Vancouver-based company that started the yoga-luxe wear craze. Most yoga clothing companies branched out from them. That said, going to their store is an experience in itself. You are in a hip but calm oasis in the middle of a busy city. They started out with clothing for yoga, but branched out to dance, running, even lounge wear, and even raincoats! They also have yoga "equipment" now like mats, thermoses, bags, even videos. They also offer free classes every weekend or so to try different styles of yoga. And their products themselves...! The fabric is so comforting, and stable, so flexible yet so sturdy at the same time. There's nothing like it. Lululemon is simply the best. read more

Dishonest cashier sold me a stained shirt after I requested she find another in the stock room, she stashed it in the bag without me even saying I would take it; i had to ask her if she found the shirt, and was curious why she wouldn't bring it to the cash wrap... it was in a bag behind her and she only handed me the bag after I purchased the items. A bit off but I had plenty to do to bother about it--I naively trusted her. After checking a few hours later, it was the stained shirt she sold me... last time at this store. Called the manager too who without knowing who it was who helped me or really letting me finish the context, took her side and offered me simply to return it if I were dissatisfied with it... Sad state of retail... walked into lululemon store with 6 people standing around...(music blaring like east LA getto)... not one staff member came up and asked to be of service. When I asked about which pants were on sale I was told "to bring a pair over and they can scan it". Lost me from the start! Hey Lulu - there a lot of places I can spend $$$ dollars for work out clothes! I expect this level of service from Academy not from a Highland Village retailer. read more

Once you walk in to LuLu your life will be changed forever! Their yoga pants are the best and although pricey worth every penny. They have various styles and colors and the staff is ALWAYS very helpful. They will hem for free which is great if you are petite. One thing to note is not to forget to pick them up as they do not call to remind you of you leave them for hemming. These yoga pants are also cute and comfy to wear out and about after a workout. Risking redundancy... I have to once again sing the praises of this amazing store. You'd think for the price of the clothes their would be tons of pretentiousness... but there's zero. Just a bunch of down to earth people who have a genuine desire to help. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with a smile and allowed to browse. Then, I was escorted to the changing room where I was introduced to another staff member who showed me to my dressing room. I was checked on by name and not only did I get some great shorts... I got incredible customer service. This is how it's done!!!! read more
