Yesterday I was forced to leave this lululemon. Why you might ask? Because I called the manager an a$$hole. And trust me, he was being an a$$hole But let's start from the beginning. I went to exchange and return a few full price items I got with my 20% coupon last month and the manager walked by and said I could not do an exchange since a used a coupon and now the coupon is expired. What? Since when is that a thing? Multiple people in the store told me what I was doing was fine already, its a normal exchange of full priced items, with tags, unworn that I happened to order with a 20% off coupon. I'm like "what? that's seems odd, what if something doesn't fit? "You can only return not exchange or you pay the difference." "What if something came damaged?" "You would have to return it, no exchange" What...? that's like the opposite of lululemons entire warranty policy. Also please note he is being rude, not even looking at me when saying this and just being dismissive and curt. At this point I'm anxious AF and want to get out of there so I end up just returning everything and leaving. I know I'm my gut he was wrong and I find the email with the coupon and what do I see?! HOLIDAY RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLCIY APPLIES. Which is legit just more than the normal 30 days and I was at day 26. So I go back in and ask the girl for that guys name because he was wrong and now I returned all that for nothing and lost my coupon. She is like...you will have to speak with him (ahh so he is the manager). At this point I'm so nervous and awkward that my hands are shaking a little and my heart is racing. He reads it FOREVER only to tell me I'm reading it wrong, he doesn't see what I'm talking about. "How am I reading it wrong? It says HOLIDAY RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLCIY APPLIES" The girl chimes in and says yeah and that's actually the extended one with more days. He dismisses her and keeps reading it like it's some secret code impossible to understand only to tell me that it has nothing to do with the coupon and the blurb is on all lululemon emails even the ones without coupons. "What?? No it's the actual coupon disclaimer, the entire paragraph is talking about the coupon rules, that wouldn't be a staple of every single lululemon email" I realize this guy is not going to do anything so its time for me to go and I turn to the girl and say "I'm not mad at you, you were nice" (why did I feel the need to tell her that? Idk because i over think things) but then I turn to him and say "but you're an a$$hole, what's your name?" "WOW!!!!!! GET OUT OF MY STORE!!!" Your store? Really? "I will just tell me your name" "No." Looks to girl "please just tell me his name" ‍ she gives me a "he's my manager shrug" and looks away awkwardly. Next thing I know the manager is saying "I'm calling security!!!" What??? Security??? I'm not even yelling, I'm standing here with my shaky nervous hands in the pockets of my cost but you need to call security? "What? You're gonna call security?" "Yep! SOMEONE CALL SECURITY!" "Umm ok?" I turn around awkwardly and walk away in embarrassed silence. Did I really get kicked out of a store??? Am I a Karen? Should I have called him an a$$hole? No, probably not but I had a bad day and he was being an a$$hole lol. He was gaslighting me and could not accept the fact that he was wrong. Treat people how you want to be treated as they say. I went to the store recently. I've been here for a ew times and they would always have a great selection of clothes. I also like their sportswear collection. When the pandemic started, I was mostly at home and I've been eating a lot due to stress, I was encouraged to work out daily and good thing is that I was able to buy a work out clothes from this store that I haven't use. It is such a great help on maintaining my fitness. The clothes I bought from them is so comfortable that is why I decided to buy another again. There is quite a lot of people inside that is why some of the selections are disorganized but they have helpful and friendly staffs who was there when I asked for something. This is a great store and I recommend you their sportswear. They also have nice selection of jeans. Better check it out, prices are fair and reasonable too! read more

Well, the brave folks at Lululemon have just taken a virtuous stand for all to see! (Pic below.) Just a theory, but clearly this must be in response to recent groups of angry men in white hoods, rudely goose-stepping through nice peaceful suburban Chicago Lululemon stores to harass innocent minorities. Ask yourself, what other factor could have possibly prompted the front and center display of such an unprecedented and civic-minded sign? Hateful, disruptive behavior should never be tolerated at Woodfield Mall, so bravo to the courageous corporate execs at Lululemon for stepping up to crush racism and protect the underprivileged! lululemon athletica - Women's Clothing Near Me - Schaumburg, Illinois

Worst lululemon ive been to hands down, it would have been worth it to go to another location. The men were helpful in finding my boyfriend joggers but they were out of so many joggers and only had black pairs...the female staff don't even get me started I was nudged out of the way grabbing leggings and ignored twice when asked for help. In the past staff has been helpful asks usually before you ask them and can help navigate sizing NOT AT THIS STORE! Whoever is managing needs to have some sort of team intervention because they've lost my business and when I talked to a previous employee at another location in Chicago she apologized and said this location doesn't reflect the mature boutique style at other locations. If you're a middle school girl this place is for you but I don't recommend this store unless you wanna spend 30 min just getting to the other side 1h in line at fitting room and 45 min in line to check out...this location is a dump on the brand. read more

Terrible customer service. I was already upset that my leggings got a hole in them. They wouldn't exchange them because I said that I wore them to the gym and blamed me saying I snagged them. An associate continued to say how they could only help if they pill or had a rip in the seam. I buy a lot from lulu and they just lost a loyal customer. Maybe if the fabric was more durable my $100 leggings wouldn't have ripped. I don't get how me walking on a treadmill can correlate to a rip in the middle of the fabric. Never shop here. read more

This is a post for Lululemon the company - not a specific store. If I could give zero stars I would I placed an online order in early December. A few days later I received an email saying the shipping label was created and order in process. Fast forward 2 weeks - I noticed I wasn't getting any updates and the fedex tracking number and info hasn't changed - I reached out to a guest educator who informed me all is well and everything is where it should be and order is still within the expected delivery frame of 12/22. A few days after that I received a "how do you like your product email" so I reached out to another guest educator who informed me those are automated emails and not to be concerned. Order is still on track and will be delivered to within the expected date of 12/22. It is now 12/23 so I reached out once again. This time to be told my order was held up stuck aka never processed. All they can do is refund my money. This is the one Christmas gift my daughter has been wanting and waiting for. Thanks for the disappointment and downright complete disregard for my concerns. This was my first time in a Lululemon store. I searched the app to see what I'd like to try on and the store had almost everything in stock. I was surprised but happy to see there was a variety of sizes. I had expected a store this expensive would have a large quantity of their items in sizes 8+. I hadn't been here before so I guessed what size I'd be. The sales associate was incredibly helpful, knew what items would best fit my workouts, and recommended based on her personal experience with the clothing item and workout routine, as she does the same exercises. She was incredibly sociable and inviting. The cashier had a great sense of humor. Despite spending half of my paycheck on five items, I left feeling confident and happy! 3 stars because of cost. This location is terrible honestly thinking about not giving this company another penny. employee Sabrina is very unprofessional her manager or as the manager would like to call herself the "owner" which she's not is even worse. I went in to do a return with my two daughters 4&5 years old. and to buy some stuff as well they refused my return saying my pants had a bad odor and smell to them which I was confused because they were just given to me yesterdays from fedex I didn't even have them for 24 hours . Then manager Muscia tells me they smell like weed . And they can't take them back trying to embarrass me in front of a huge line of people and all the employee. she told me she wasn't gonna respect me since I wasn't respecting her all I was doing was asking questions explaining we do not smoke weed . She didn't do the return and lost a $300 sale as well . I told her to not speak to me the way she was in front of my children and telling me the pants smelled like weed. The male staff in the front of the store and at the register were very helpful and friendly. The guy helped me find what I was looking for and the guy at the register was talkative and friendly. However, the female staff by the fitting rooms were rude and made me consider just leaving everything and not purchasing from this store. It was difficult to even get the one lady's attention and she seemed baffled that I wanted to try anything on. When I exited the fitting room to grab another size I was completely ignored again and nobody bothered to ask if everything fit well. I came back a second time with different sizes and struggled again to get her attention. As I was trying on clothes I heard her let a couple of female customers into fitting rooms and she said to both of them "let me know if you need anything else or want something in another size." Seems like that would've been a nice thing to offer me too but apparently I must be a ghost because it was hard for her to even see me in the first place. One star for helpful staff up front, one for great clothes but I'm withholding three stars for terrible staff in the back of the store. read more

I was a huge fan of Lululemon in 2013 but not anymore. It's ashame because I noticed the quality has gone down hill yet the price is still expensive. I heard they're going private which equates that their product is in not in high demand anymore. I've stopped coming here since their quality went down hill in 2015 plus their 2 weeks return policy SUCKS so I have turned to Athleta. Athleta is my new yoga clothing store. Better return policy nothing like lululemon at 2 weeks plus their quality is BETTER! read more

Store may be pricey but material is worth it. The customer service though is what stands out the most. The whole team is AMAZING! They truly care about you and and it shows! Her posture was stiff and her bronzed face showed that she recently returned from a vacation with her girlfriends. She told me that she "has never even gone to a yoga class, but just likes to wear the clothes for running errands." she came across as cold and intimidating. She was the stereotypical Hinsdale mom. She was already wearing a pair of one hundred something dollar yoga pants, with a shiny hand bag dangling over her shoulder, eminating the stiff scent of expensive leather. The woman seemed impatient and annoyed when I kindly asked if I could ask her some questions for an English project of mine. The Store clerk walked by and gave me an empathetic smile, discretely trying to tell me that she works with these kinds of Lululemon customers all the time; the kinds who will spend gobs of money so that they can have what they think is the best quality workout gear around. My visit to Lululemon proved that customers will willingly pay obscene amounts of money for see through yoga pants that will most likely never be worn to a yoga class. LuluLemon was originally founded in Canada and according to Wikipedia "has been a magnet for numerous controversies including product recalls, product quality issues, over priced merchandise, making misleading statements to artificially inflate its stock price, marketing efforts that exclude overweight customers, accusations by shareholders of fraud, false advertising and controversial statements by the founder." It was founded in 1998 by Chip Wilson with the original product being aimed at yoga enthusiasts. Body positivity is what the brand's main vision is, but their CEO has recently contradicted that statement. Activist news service Alternet.com is a nonprofit, independent media outlet and has reported that CEO Chip Wilson stated that "New complaints over pants pilling just shows that 'they don't work for some women's bodies'". The message of this brand just got much more confusing. How do you tell people that they should feel great about themselves and workout day, but only when they are skinny enough to fit in the clothes that are being sold at LuluLemon? Many customers have received mixed messages and in result the company has seen a major drop in their sales. After finishing up my interview with the suburban mom who seemed as if my simple questions would throw a wrench in her entire day, I made my way through the shelves of neon, stretchy and bold printed shorts, leggings and tanks. I handed over my $12.00 headband that costs $3.99 at Target and $6.79 at Walmart; all three looking identical. Kacey handed me my headband in a small plastic bag. I decided that I would let the impatient mothers clear out and come back in a little while. When I walked back in the store it seemed to have been mobbed by middle school girls sipping Frappuccino's. I found Kacey in the back, seemingly hiding out from the young girl and asked if I could conduct and interview for my rhetoric class. I learned that Kacey has been working at LuluLemon for three years. She is a yoga and Zumba instructor and 'loved the vibe' that the store gave off, so she 'decided to apply for a job where she could be around the things that she loves.' When I brought up the topic of the controversial 'see through leggings' she became slightly defensive and said that the 'see through leggings' were only one kind of pants and they were made out of specific material. She alluded to the fact that she would probably not own as many products from LuluLemon if she did not get an employee discount. Kacey stated that she will "never truly understand the women who come in [here] and are able to hand over their credit card so easily for hundreds of dollars' worth of workout clothes". Because she is an employee of the store it is understandable that she would have to support the store and protect their image when asked questions about topics in the media. The controversial see through pants and outrageous prices for workout apparel sold at LuluLemon have discouraged many people from buying their products. The interviews that I conducted at the store give strong evidence that people are willing to spend an arm and a leg for high end clothing and will not question the legitimacy of the products. It also shows that if a CEO says that their products are the best quality, customers will not question their authority. Customers who buy expensive clothing that is see through and does not cover all of your body is an issue that goes beyond minimal product quality. What does it say about Americans when mothers are willing to buy their tweens clothing that is revealing and inappropriate? What does it say about Americans when we support brands that are exclusive and only made for certain kinds of people? We should be supportive of everyone and accepting of everyone, and that means that we as consumers should take a step back and re-evaluate the company's that we spend money on. read more

I have gotten a couple of pairs of legging from lulu and i thought they looked really nice, but my last three pairs, they fit me in the store when i tried them on and after about one wash a couple wears they started stretching out and looking very saggy. I was not satisfied at all and very disapointed. For the prices there you should be getting 4 pairs not just one. I will not be shopping there anymore. read more

I had placed a hold at the schaumburg location on a pair of joggers that I tried on downtown Chicago. I was told it would be on hold through the following day, and when I arrived they were no longer at the store. I think they may have put them back on the floor prematurely and somebody snagged them before I got there. Gianna and the tall gentleman working at the front of the store were very apologetic and empathetic to the situation, and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. It was important to have these pants for my long drive across the country and I wanted to be comfortable during this trip as lululemon stands above the rest in comfort among other things. Long story short, they found another pair at a store and had them overnighted to arrive to me on time. Gianna also gifted me a pair of their boxers to ensure I was happy, although it was not necessary. I think she's not only a great customer service representative but also savvy in business because after trying on my first pair of lululemon boxers, I will now go back and buy more of them. This was singlehandedly the worse customer service experience I have ever received from a store employee in my life and I will never return to this location again. Everyone reading this review should take note and go to other area Lululemon locations such as Oak Brook Mall or Old Orchard Mall. I went in to exchange a pair of pants that were defective because I was told by a Lululemon employee at a different store to do this because of a quality issue that the company would honor. I explained that I had purchased the leggings in 2016 and the employee proceeded to tell me that they didn't even sell that style and color legging in 2016 when I emphasized to her that I absolutely did. She also told me that because the tag was removed, she "couldn't prove that I even purchased the leggings at Lululemon". Where on earth would I have purchased leggings except for at Lululemon? Not to mention the fact that the tags are designed to easily rip out and are not meant to stay in there for wearing during workouts and use of the pants. She then said she could not even find me as a customer in their system and therefore was doubting that I had ever purchased the pants at all. I have given thousands of dollars to this company and do not appreciate being doubted that I am in fact a loyal customer who purchased the pants where and when I said I did. The service was rude, unaccommodating, and absolutely unacceptable. I took the same pants to another store and they took care of it with no issues. I decided to post not because I did not get the exchange that I wanted--I am posting because of the way I was treated and doubted about my story.
