Solid little Lululemon in Summit. Much less crowded and easier to navigate than the one in Short Hills Mall. Returns were quick. Only downside is that parking is not right at the store but the municipal parking is available and close to the shop. read more

The staff is super helpful and patient, more so than any other Lululemons I've been to. We were in the store an hour before closing time and while my daughter tried on many different leggings, she finally settled on one she liked 5 minutes before closing time. The legging was a bIt wrinkly. The staff was kind enough to find another one and steam it for us. As with other lululemon stores, your dressing room is held for you with your name on the board. There is also complimentary tailoring. The staff in this store is knowledgeable about the differences in the various leggings. They also give their opinion about the fit when you try them on. The clothing is expensive ($100+ for leggings) but the experience is nice! read more

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The store wasn't huge, but had a wide selection (it is deep). Good location in downtown parking. It was tough to find street parking, but there are parking lots close by where the first hour is free. read more

I went into the store yesterday with my wife for the 1st time , I will not return !! I had a pair of leggings with me , She is not happy with the quality. The 2 ladies ( 1 was a manager) did nothing for us , wasn't helpful at all . Didn't even look at the pants . $130.00 for bad quality, horrible service. My wife has a pair from old navy that are 100% better $10.00 , 15 years old !!! read more

First impression was that this store was small.. but as I stepped through I saw that it just kept going back, it was easy to see that they really made the most of their store space. It's really not often that you walk into a store and find a full assortment of sizes. Racks and shelves are usually picked through and it seems that the smallest sizes are only ever available. It's easy to get discouraged when thumbing through a rack and you see that the sizes stop going up after M or find that the pants stop at an 8. Not here - This Lulu clearly keeps track of their inventory and sales floor assortment. The tall and curvy girls thank you! Shoutout to manager Cassandra for being so helpful with my needs and the rest of the staff for greeting me. It didn't matter that I came in during a slow hour they were still attentive and kind. I'd recommend this store to any of my friends looking for some new yoga gear. read more

Horrible experience. Walked in and was greeted by who I now know is the manager. Was then ignored by the other four associates, even as I held items in my hand and was actively looking for different sizes. I decided to keep going because I really wanted shorts. I asked for a fitting room and the associate who went out of her way to not help me on the floor wrote my name on the door and walked away...no words...no comments...no questions...she walked away. I tried on the items and needed help with sizing but I was too frustrated. I hung up the items, walked them out and was promptly ignored by another associate who saw me coming out and looking for a place to hang the clothes. I then saw the manager who greeted me when I came in, told her of my experience and left. She listened but I don't think she heard me. I won't be back and I'll let others know. read more

I have shopped here several times for gifts. I find it rather disconcerting that if something is marked down, it's always a final sale. Forgive me for being naive but a $70 shirt is still a $70 shirt, even if it used to be $90. I know what you're probably thinking and you're right but I didn't want to spend more, even though I could easily afford to do so. I have never heard of a chain having this policy, let alone one who positions itself so highly. I also find their sales help to be totally inept, a bit snobby and completely unhelpful (is that even a word?) This is not an isolated incident because I have seen the same in their Manhattan stores as well as their location in Montclair. Helping customers seems to be a nuance or chore and they are reluctant to do so. Maybe the demographic pool from which they select their employees is conducive to this behavior. If so, they need to expand their spectrum and become more selective about who they hire. It's a horrible reflection upon their management and human resource assets. Second of all, and this is pretty inexcusable, I decided to up my underwear game. Being a modern and somewhat metrosexual guy, I figured I would give theirs a try. Bought a few pair in different colors. After TWO washings, the waist band started to show wear. I think I paid around $30/ea for them and will end up throwing them out. It's not worth my time or the bullshit I'll encounter if I try to return them. If any man happens to be reading this, which I highly doubt, try Saxx underwear. They're a bit more expensive but they're ridiculously comfortable and last forever. I have read where Lululemon's business is not good and that they may be in danger of closing. They are in serious financial difficulty and Huff Post lists them as one of the brands that will most-likely cease to exist next year. I have a great suggestion for them. Hire better people. Train them more thoroughly, and institute a compensation package commensurate with sales as opposed to paying hourly wages that seems to attract such poor quality help. You have a great brand going with a loyal following. Take advantage of it and reward your customers with a shopping experience that they deserve and demand. Otherwise, see you at Walmart. read more

I've been hearing around the community that this store has gone downhill over the last year or so. Stopped in around the holidays and had a really rude experience with a girl named Hailey. Didn't really think much of it, but ended up leaving without purchasing with a bad taste in my mouth. Stopped in recently, same girl with the same condescending attitude. She was somehow aggressive in helping me, and yet wasn't listening and didn't seem to want to help me. It was an odd experience. It's a shame for the community, but I think I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. read more

Purchased two pair of pants for my husband at Christmas. He did take the tags off one and tried them on and the size was too big. Went to exchange (not return) both pair of pants with tags on one and not the other for a smaller size and they would not exchange the brand new pants without tags. Disappointed with the customer service as they are not at the same level as the quality of the clothing. We will not be purchasing in the future. read more

That was at the Montclair location I liked this store much better Anxious people willing to help. The clearance rack was decent. Organized Good quality but so overpriced for workout clothes. This was the closest Lulu store to me and I decided to check it out since I was in town with my family. The store is small but it's so organized. The workers there were so helpful. I don't really remember the name of the guy that helped me out, but he was on point. I had tried a pair of yoga pants on and when I came out to show my family, I wasn't feeling it. So the guy that helped me brought me 5 different pairs, which I found the perfect one. I'm so glad he suggested different ones because I wouldn't have found what I was looking for. The down side I would say is that there isn't a suggested sales rack and the sales items are mixed with the full priced items. It was hard to find really good deals. When I went I didn't know that it was almost time for closing, but was surprised hat nobody was rushing us to get out. Thank you for that and it made my experience great! read more

I have a few tops and a jacket from here which I don't fit into any more and now it is my new year's resolution to get back. The leggings didn't fit me- lululemon isn't good for curvy. Gap gfast leggings are much better, and so are mizuno. read more

Expensive clothes, but NJ doesn't charge sales tax on clothing, so that makes it a DEAL. Seriously, clothes here rarely go on sale and even if you trekked to the outlet at Woodbury, the discount isn't really worth it after NY tax. Price aside, I think lululemon makes some well engineered clothing for various sports. I like the vented shirts--with mesh and without. You can breathe in these clothes even while working up a serious sweat. I also light that the material is light and they make something for every layer---undies to outerwear. Also, hemming/alterations are complimentary if you need them. It remains to be seen how long they'll last, but for what they're charging, I hope it's forever. read more

I was just at the Lululemon store in Summit and when I got there, it wasn't wheelchair accessible. I had to make an exchange and the manager, Robert came out to the street to make the exchange. It took less than five minutes. Very accommodating staff, and they are now making changes to their physical storefront to make it accessible. read more

This may seem like a ridiculous review but hear me out. I have been to this lulu a few times but never been moved to write a review. When I have been in, it was to purchase clothes I'd already known I liked or to peruse the sale rack. Today though, I was just trying to find a place to go to the bathroom. I was at CVS and despite the greeter at the front directing me to the facilities, they were out of order rendering them useless to me. To preface, I am a very underwhelming looking person but certainly not intimidating or imposing. I left CVS in search of a bathroom and came across another pharmacy type shop across the road, despite asking and pleading with them, I was not given a chance to use their bathroom. I then went to a restaurant on the corner and was also refused there. I kept walking and started to worry. With the issues with my kidneys, it's imperative I pee when I have to and avoid holding it in and I had already been pushing it. From across the street, I saw lulu and walked briskly in. I said I couldn't buy anything but for the love of lycra could I please use the bathroom? YES OF COURSE was the response without hesitation or questioning. I had been Christmas shopping in downtown Summit for several hours with the last stop being Lululemon. As stated by another reviewer, they generously offered me use of their bathroom facilities unlike other stores and even offered me a beverage since I told them I had been out for awhile. I didn't catch the employee's name, but he helped me select the perfect presents for my coworkers in a brief amount of time. They even welcomed me to attend an event that was happening at the store that night. This was not my first time in this store. Every visit has been a pleasant experience. I live in Florida and each Lululemon store I've entered, I've either been ignored or treated rudely. I am willing to wait until my next trip to Summit, NJ to do my Lululemon shopping. It took me a while to come around to Lululemon as a brand, but I was finally convinced after using a pair of their pants when I was pregnant (they had this magical ability to stretch to 8 months pregnant and shrink to work postpartum). We had a great store back in Chicago, but this location is amazing. I went in with two young kids this morning and the staff was helpful and friendly. They have a changing room that has a toy bin, so I actually had the opportunity to try things on and take my time. It was so nice! Also, they hem anything for free, and are eager to answer questions without being pushy. I will definitely be back! read more

I love Lulu lemon product but what makes me angry is that they don't fix holes in leggings that are 100+....very aggravating. This is supposedly an amazing brand with reliable clothing and I'm constantly getting random holes in my leggings. There should definitely be a refund or a trade for ripped clothing. read more

PLEASE hire staff that aren't busy talking about their personal life, boyfriends or cocktails they had last night. I am a regular customer here and I'm finding lately the staff to be too young and vapid for the amount of money I'm spending. Most times they are pretending to be folding pants at the "bar' but are just chatting with each other. On my most recent visit, the day after Xmas, when store was mobbed, a few salespeople spent the ENTIRE time taking lunch orders. They debated back and forth about which kinds of pizza to order. Also heard the staff at register complaining about how busy it was, again they made it clear customer was a real bother to them, it was only 11:00 am. The customer gets the feeling they are intruding on the salespeople. Where are the SEASONED salepeople here?? read more

So surprised by these negative reviews! I am a long-time fan of Lululemon's clothes (even if I do buy them rather selectively, as they are expensive). I received a great outfit as a gift 4+ years ago, and the pants, jacket, and shirt are only just beginning to show wear. You truly get what you pay for. And as for the staff in the Summit store-- they are top! Kind, knowledgable, and genuinely interested in listening to what their customers say so they can connect you with the right product. I'm giving this lululemon location four stars because both times I've been here, everyone has been incredibly helpful and friendly. Although the store is a bit small, they actually tend to have a better stock than a lot of the NYC stores. Also, I had a problem (ripped seam) with a pair of pants I bought from a different lululemon store (Montclair) last week. I brought the pants to this location on my lunch break and they helped me exchange the pants with no hassle. I was in and out of the store in less than 2 minutes! Fabulous customer service! read more
