One carries super expensive designer clothes- Prada, Dolce & Gabana, etc. The Elle Rose next door is more in my price range and carries all of my favorite designers- Theory, Tahari, Nanette Lepore. I could have dropped lots of cash in this store today because they had some really adorable clothes, jewelry, purses, belts, etc. However, then I remembered my New Years Resolution to save more money and spent my time browsing and talking with the super friendly sales associates instead. The food also took a long time to come out. We were understanding of the wait, but the final item, a simple bowl of oatmeal had apparently been forgotten and didn't arrive until much later. We also witnessed another table being told that their breakfast order would not be honored because the kitchen has a strict 11:00 a.m. breakfast cutoff. That seemed frustrating, especially after they had already placed their order. The food itself was good, but the service and communication left a lot to be desired. Better communication with guests would have made the experience much smoother. Given the size and popularity of the restaurant, having a dedicated busser could help the front of-house staff stay on top of orders and tables without becoming overwhelmed.
