I really enjoy browsing in the store with my grandkids whenever we are at the lake. The staff goes above and beyond in terms of customer service. Taryn was incredibly helpful in accommodating a special request I made for a branded item. She was very responsive over several texts and she was able to get me exactly what I hoped for. We love coming here each year & will return again next winter to see what is new. My husband loves the candles, some of which are made in house. I love the jewelry but wish some of the necklaces came in larger sizes for my neck. Gorgeous paddles too, if only we had a use for those.

Huck and Paddle completely breaks the mold. The whole shop is curated (and I use that word intentionally) from a very unique perspective. It is filled with interesting objects, large and small. Inevitably, one of these objects will strike your fancy and demand to be taken with you when you leave town. The owner is delightful, and is committed to her aesthetic. We got to discussing some items I thought would make sense in her store, and she immediately got online to see what I was talking about. Oh, and she has something for everyone. This floral shop uses third party drivers and delivery for their arrangements. I ordered flowers for my daughters birthday to be delivered from what I thought was a local service and she never received her flowers. When I called, they told me they couldn't deliver for another four days. "No flowers." None? I cancelled and went with another flower service. I found out when those flowers were not delivered that my order filtered through the same shop, 'Blossom.' She finally received her bouquet six days after her birthday. The bouquet and base were not what I ordered, nor was the arrangement. And she never received her birthday balloon. When I called to follow up and ask for at least her balloon to be delivered, I was told that it couldn't because it was a 'third party operation,' nor would they send a new bouquet to match what I ordered. They refunded me $10...for the balloon. I will not order from Blossom again, or any third party associated with them, i.e., Sunny Flowers. It is a fraudulent company and there is very little recourse for securing a refund.
