I'm not sure what I expected, but if I have another chance I'm coming here again! They have a large variety in desserts and martinis, especially if you love espresso martinis like me! It's a very chill vibe to hang out with friends. They have a bar, they have tables inside and outside, etc,. They also have regular coffee drinks, wine, and beer if you're not feeling a cocktail or martini. I got the crème brûlée trio (chocolate, classic, and berry), a cappuccino martini, and a shamrock martini. Definitely a must if you're looking for dessert and bar in one and a chill vibe.

Lulu's is such a cute and quaint dessert bar. Not only are the coffee and cocktail drinks delicious, so are the baked goods. When I am searching for a sweet treat, this is my go to. They have a great variety always available and the customer service is great! It's such a cute date night or girls night out spot.

We will definitely be back to Lulu's. Our waitress, Emma, was super sweet and attentive. She was very knowledgeable on the menu items. It was a chilly night so it wasn't over crowded. Such a great spot for an after dinner cocktails and a tasty dessert. I had the triple mousse tower and it was light, yet decadent. The martinis looked divine. My friends got the milky way cheesecake and the brownie.....soooo good. This place does get busy, but it is such a little local gem where local and tourists alike will enjoy. I can't believe it took me almost three years of looking at, driving by this place wanted to go, to finally get here. Just go and satisfy your sweet tooth.

I love Lulu's! Perfect for a date night or drinks with friends. They have a great martini menu with chocolatey options and other fun ones as well. I love the orange dreamsicle. It's strong, but still full of creamsicle flavor. Their dessert are my favorite part! They have a pretty standard menu, but have seasonal options as well. Their crème brûlée is delicious! I just wish it was double the size, lol. I had the vanilla bean cheesecake this time. I highly recommend it.

Had the opportunity to visit Lulu's Chocolate Bar during our visit to Savannah and were so pleasantly surprised! Service was amazing and quick, our hostess was so lovely and the ambiance was not bustling on a Monday night. We ordered two desserts, both of which were not too sweet. The Triple Chocolate Mousse Tower was light, while the Chocolate Torte was a bit heavier. Perfect two choices in my opinion! Definitely give Lulu's a shot if you're visiting Savannah!

After a full day of exploring Savannah, we wanted a quiet evening in the hotel with dessert in bed. Locals recommended Lulu's Chocolate Bar for yummy homemade pie and it was a short walk from our hotel. It was a busy night and there was limited seating open so we were glad to have planned this as a take out option. There were plenty of options to choose from but we both immediately knew we HAD to have the Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie. Its dark chocolatey top and vibrant peanut butter center colors made us almost salivate! We also decided to try one more and selected the Key Lime Coconut Pie. The quality of both pie crusts was noticeable. Our favorite did end up being the Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie. It was creamy, and neither the chocolate or the peanut butter flavors overpowered the other. Very equally balanced. The ingredients used made for an overall excellent slice of pie. It even held up well on our walk to the hotel. The Key Lime Coconut Pie was more of a key lime than coconut. We were a little bummed we couldn't taste more coconut though. It was truly only toasted coconut shavings on the top. Regardless though, the Key Lime flavor was not overly tart and it didn't have sugary grit to it that I have experienced in other Key Lime pies. It was nicely balanced to the palette. If you have a sweet craving and want freshly made pies, you need to make Lulu's Chocolate Bar a stop on your visit to Savannah. It is a special gem for that city.

Lulu's is one step above amazing! Greeted fast and seated promptly. Good options for beverages and desserts to choose from. There's other options besides chocolate options. We enjoys watching them make chocolate martinis; everything looked Devine. We decided to share the white chocolate chocolate chip cheesecake; it was both creamy; moist; decadent; and the perfect amount of sweetness. The crust and the drizzle surrounding the cheesecake was perfect. Gets busy pretty quickly. Perfect for a date night or a girls night .

They had other chocolate items, but this seemed to be the lighted, in terms of bulkiness on the tummy. Their cakes also looked really good. When a baker and a bartender dream together, you get something sweet and a little wild -- welcome to Lulu's Chocolate Bar. Since the opening in 2007, we CRAVE and ANTICIPATE returning to Savannah to visit Lulus. It's a 5 hour drive but when choosing our summer beach destination, I have to admit, Lulu's is sometimes brought into the deciding conversation. This is a female owned business and apparently, chocolate lovers- opened by two best friends both inspired by their grandmothers. Voted Best Desserts 16 years straight (plus Best Martini & Wait Staff ), Lulu's is where indulgence meets community. We usually get a different form of cheesecake each visit and it's like diving into dessert heaven. I ordered the S'mores Martini (with a toasted marshmallow floating on top!) The taste is what treating yourself really means. Creamy, melted hot cocoa, fall inspired drink that definitely warmed me up. Regular beer, wine and normal bar drinks are offered so my bf had an organic chocolate stout. We were in Sav the week before Labor Day so it was the off-season so we were able to walk in and go straight to the seat with fast service.

Rude, rude, rude!!!!!! Out of state visitor. Maneuver the labyrinth of one way streets to find Lulu's. Circle to find a parking space in the rain. Walk a block to pay to park in the rain. Enter Lulu's and wait at the sign to wait to be seated. Check out the dessert case while I wait to be seated. Finally seated at a table for two just inside the door in front of the dessert case. Wait to be waited on. Check out dessert case. Wait to be waited on. Check the menu again. Wait to be waited on. 2 people come in and seated 1 table away and instantly asked for their drink order. We are still waiting. 4 people come in and seated at a table near us and instantly asked for what they would like. We are still waiting. I go to the counter and the server is clueless that we have been seated and waiting. The second waitress is clueless that we have been seated and waiting. One of the waitresses says there are only 2 of them. That should make it harder to be confused about when a new customer comes in and waits to be seated and is seated at a table. I put a lot of effort to find this chocolate shop and a lot of effort to find a place to park and to walk to the kiosk to pay in the rain. Too bad the staff at Lulu's put no effort into serving us. read more

My husband & I LOVE dessert!! So while here on our mini honeymoon we decided to check out Lulus!! We opted out of getting dessert at the restaurant we ate at, & decided to check for places near us. I'm so happy we came here, the vibes are absolutely vibing!! The music was on point, & the tables were turning quickly!! I asked the bartender if I could do a white chocolate espresso martini & she was able to do that for me. 10/10 recommend!!! the menu is easy to navigate, & everything came out punctually!! we ordered the trio of crème brûlée which included, chocolate, white chocolate raspberry & vanilla bean! so yummy & loved the variety!! read more

Wow was this place a great time! 5 of us stopped by around 10:30pm and thoroughly enjoyed every moment here. I didn't even think I'd like a dessert drink, but after tasting everyone's orders I was amazed. The cake and pie selection was also great, I think my favorite was the pecan pie or the oreo cheesecake we ordered. Someone told us about Lulu's. It was my birthday and in hopes of making it feel like my birthday my husband took me to Lulu's for some dessert. I can say walking it a little overwhelmed like do they do to go orders? Do I stand in front of the glass case and place an order? It was a holiday (Veteran's day) and there were plenty of staff moving around but no one stopped to greet us or ask to assist us. We eventually sat down at the bar to move things along (although I thought we were taking it to go.) I ordered the pecan cheesecake. It was delicious! Creamy, flavorful and the thick crust always gets me on cheesecake! It was mentioned it was my birthday and our waitress followed up with a pretty happy birthday written in chocolate on a platter with a complimentary chocolate dipped strawberry. How very nice! Absolute best martini bar! Highly recommend the chocolate martini! I've had my share of chocolate martinis from a ton of bars throughout Florida but never one as delicious or smooth as the one from Lulu's Chocolate Bar. Their entire menu is catered around delicious desserts. They have an extensive cocktails, beverages and wine menu. They also have a caste array of desserts such as pies, cakes, cheesecakes, troubles and etc. They also have cheese boards, which my friends told me were delicious. I've been here about three times with friends and family. I always make a pit stop to Lulu's whenever I am in Savannah, Georgia. I highly recommend this establishment! Lulu's was great! Last time my hubby and I visited Savannah they were closed so I was glad to make it this go round. The wait was less than 3 minutes even though there was a line when we arrived. Everyone was super friendly. I got a coconut key lime pie and my girlfriend got the Grand Marnier chocolate cake. I'm not a chocolate lover but her cake was really good. I'm also not a dessert person..why did I go to Lulu's then? Because she is both. Even with that I ate my whole piece of pie!! That is rare for me. read more

It is hard to pick if the desserts or the chocolate alcoholic drinks are better, so I strongly suggest just getting both! This place is the perfect place to visit after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. Although they specialize in chocolate based dessert type drinks, there's wine beer and a full bar if you're so inclined. If we lived in Savannah we would be here weekly. read more

What a wonderful unique place. We had drinks and dessert that were amazing, particularly if you love chocolate, which we do. My wife and both had different types of chocolate martinis which were decadent in the amount of chocolate in the drinks. With this my wife had a flourless chocolate torte that was amazing and I had a suspension chocolate cake that had large pieces of sweet strawberries in it. Just delicious. Our server was very attentive and made sure we had what we needed without being intrusive. There were quite a few cute tables where people were seated as well as a bar where you could sit for drinks and dessert if you wanted. It was a very good atmosphere. This may have been the most unique dessert establishment I have ever experienced and would highly recommend it. read more

Exactly what you want in a dessert bar. Food - In House made desserts that are absolutely amazing. The rotate seasonally as well. Romantic date location for anyone looking to bring their special person out. Drinks - they have plenty of options for drinks but the dessert drinks are to die for. Staff - super friendly and helpful. Very nice spot in the historic area of Savannah. The place was quite occupied in the evening of the Christmas Day but we were kindly offered seats at the bar table. Perfect location to enjoy some desserts and drinks (no sandwhich etc were available at that time). just get your desserts to-go. Right at the front, order from the display case. good desserts. dont eat in or order drinks. ALL the drinks are overly sweet and complicated. most of the recipes involve redundant ingredients. not very innovative. the desserts are good though, pecan pie is my favorite I think. just take it home with you. read more

Cute place, great desserts, good drinks! We were debating between this place and another desserts-only place around the corner...learned this one is 100% local (the other is actually a franchise) so was happy to patron Lulu's! We got the Chocolate Orange Martini and the Salted Caramel Martini, and of course a slice of the white chocolate cheesecake with dark chocolate chips. The martinis were good - tasted EXACTLY as you'd expect. And the cheesecake was actually our only dessert all weekend we were in town, and I enjoyed every bite. Lulu's hands down has the best desserts in Savannah. Cheesecake, chocolate covered strawberries, cake, pie, the possibilities are endless here. They even have dessert beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I saw some people drinking the dessert martinis and they actually look very delicious. I have been here a few times and let me tell you, they have never disappointed me. My go to favorite is definitely the chocolate covered strawberries, but I also like the strawberry suspension cake. My fiancee is partial to the white chocolate chocolate chip cheesecake which is also absolutely delicious. I will say the only few downsides to this place are the prices and the rotation of desserts. The desserts get pretty pricey here and sometimes they won't have the dessert you've been craving for the last week, until next week. Other than that, this place is the place to be and soothe that sweet tooth! read more

Since this dessert bar is on the list of the best desserts for Savannah, I had to get some for my birthday. They aren't open for indoor seating I believe the two tables outside were open but it is a bit chilly to sit outdoors so I did take out. I appreciate rehear covid measures with only one customer entry and the plexiglass above the dessert case. When the pandemic is over I'm definitely coming back here in my Savannah trip to try their drinks. I ordered several items. The creme brûlée was very good. Nicely made custard and they heated the sugar on top when you come in to pick it up. My husband loves pecans so he had the pecan pie with ice cream. It is not too sweet and delicious. Lulu's Strawberry Suspension Cake is so good. The chocolate cake is moist and the marscapone with strawberry is light and tasty. The chocolate outside that holds it together is light. I see why this is a signature dessert. I also had to order the lavender cake as they said it is seasonal so I had to try that too. I'm glad I did because it is fabulous. The cake is light and the icing is fabulous. I informed the host outside when I came that it was my birthday and she said to let them know. The server ran outside after me to tell me she forgot to give my birthday strawberry and if I wanted dark or white chocolate. How nice was that? She made sure I got my birthday strawberry. :) Nice service!!! The dark chocolate covered strawberry is awesome as well. They had so many dessert options and I could've tried all of them. I'm sure the drinks are just as good. I can't wait to enjoy the atmosphere as it looks like a cool spot to sit and enjoy dessert and drinks. read more

We took our dessert to-go. I ordered the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake because it looked delicious, and they said it was one of their most popular items. Could not taste the vanilla bean at all. You definitely have to stop here if you are in Savannah. The best thing about this place is stopping after a great meal, helps complete the perfect day in Savannah. Due to Covid you can't sit down and enjoy the restaurant but it's still really good. They only allowed 1 party at a time so you had the place to yourself instead it being to crowed. Our server, Oliver, was a genuine joy! He greeted us warmly at the bar, and guided our selections, then checked in with us regularly. It was a Sunday evening with a holiday on Monday (President's Day), so some people were off work. We explored several things: very berry martini, salted caramel, chocolate covered strawberries, and crème brûlée. Each item was prepared with care and a genuine attention to detail. The coconut key lime pie was the best I've had in a long time, and that's after just spending 5 weeks in Florida trying several variations. The lime flavor is really highlighted in this one, without being overly sweet. This is what key lime pie should be. But the peanut butter chocolate pie, wow. My friend and i were so excited to try Lulu's for the first time. It was a very cold day last Saturday in the 30's degree temperature. They made us wait outside for over 30 minutes while there were a lot of empty tables inside the restaurant. The hostess insisted that she could not sit us even though we said we are happy to just sit and wait. To make things worse, when we finally sat down, she gave water to a couple who came in after us and completely ignored us. She knew we were there waiting for a very long time in the freezing weather, but she obviously didn't care. We were really upset and just horrified about how poorly they treated us. Meet the Business Owner: Janine F.

After years of working as a business manager, I moved to Savannah and met my now business partner, Rebecca, who made the most fantastic desserts I had ever tasted. We remained friends while I tried my hand at stewardessing on private yachts, and Rebecca started a catering business. After returning to Savannah, we decided to pool our strengths and open a place where we would like to go ourselves -- a place that offered awesome drinks and Rebecca's fantastic desserts. Our dreams became a reality in May of 2007 after much planning, research, and struggle. Lulu's confused people at first: Were we a bakery, or a bar, or a restaurant? The answer is yes! We have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback and with all the friends we have made working at the restaurant. We really love what we do. Come and enjoy our passion.

Wow, this has got to be the best pita I've ever had. They were so fluffy, warm, and well seasoned. We even got a second order. The labneh dip was phenomenal -- highly recommend for an appetizer or just a snack. We also shared to the falafel bites and the Alida Burger which was very tasty! We'll definitely be back for another visit the next time we're in Savannah!

The Paris Market is essentially like an antique shop, museum, and classy cafe all came together at once. It has a perfect vibe and aesthetic that is honestly very calming when you've been rushing around the streets of Savannah prior to walking in the door. I highly recommend getting any flavor of latte (hot or iced) as well as their incredible Parisian hot chocolate. Both were delicious and actually worth the $6/$7 price tag! The space is nice, but a lot of the merchandise was sourced from vendors you commonly see at the larger merchandise markets, so it didn't feel as unique or curated as we expected. I don't write reviews. After going to Lulu's, I decided I had to write my first one. I was recommended Lulu's by a couple of people and decided to try it out with my friend, last night. We were greeted by a wonderful and funny hostess. While we waited for our table (took 20 minutes, they were packed, but well worth the wait!), we asked for some recommendations from her. I ordered the Gingerbread cake. OMG! Amazing! My friend ordered the fig goat cheese cheesecake. She couldn't stop gushing over it. And with good reason...I was only allowed to take a single bite. The martinis are also great! I look forward to stopping back in the next time I am in Savannah!! read more

I don't know why this review was deleted from Google, but I wanted to post it here as well. I was recommended this place for having the best desserts in town. As a foodie from New York City, I wanted to try it. I had the chocolate chip cheesecake. Ech...WORST CHEESECAKE I HAVE EVER HAD! My friends had the rapture sundae. The ice cream was crumbly, like it was freezer-burnt. Not good. My advice is if you are from the Northeast and know what good desserts really are, save your money and wait till you get back home. read more

Very friendly bartenders and such creative martinis on the menu! We got the truffles for desert. I would recommend spending the $8 on something a little more filling. They have such creative and amazing items on their menu. I wish I could've tried everything! The atmosphere is perfect for a nights end- not too loud, semi-romantic, but still edgy and fun. If you are in search of an uptown atmosphere with small town personalized attention, then I highly recommend Lulu's. It was by accident that we stopped in, and the sticker shock on the desserts almost caused us to exit quickly, but we stayed and are very happy with that decision. It isn't a place I would frequently daily, but to spoil yourself and splurge...this is the place. Fantastic drinks, desserts, and customer service. read more

Sat at the bar, ordered the same drink twice, didn't taste the same. Service was terrible. The staff was in the back most of the time, while us paying customers waited for service. Wasn't busy. Had to order my dessert twice before I finally got it. Was disappointed when I tasted it...very dry cake. Not worth the price or my time! read more
