This is an interesting little spot with homey selections, bbq's if you want to cook your own steaks and live music on the weekends. Service is consistent and friendly, space is a "country bar"vibe. Bar service is great and bartender makes great cocktails. Food is big generous servings, sandwiches, dinners, specials, steaks.

Classic Country restaurant with dance floor, stage and TVs for rodeo and sports watching. Also nice little bar to saddle up to that appears to be frequented by locals. Lots of space for eating, both intimate and groups. We were promptly and warmly greeted by our server, whom took our drink order right away. She was open, offering honest suggestions of her favorite menu items. The food was cooked well. The Jalapeño poppers were out of this world, but be prepared for the heat. My filet was cook perfectly. Before leaving I checked out their outside situation and it is awesome. You can cook your own steaks if you want. They have great seating and corn hole. Also, if you like volleyball they have very impressive courts and an opportunity to join a league.

We came here for breakfast not knowing the breakfast options only include a breakfast burrito or a scramble but the rest of menu is available. We came here at 10:30a on a Saturday and only four more families inside. The servers were nice. What we swallowed: *CRISPY SHRIMP: The server recommended this between between the Fish and Chips. It was good. Crispy shrimp, tasty fries. *PEPPERONI PIZZA: The crust on this was good and was enjoyed by everyone, although this was split between my 2 kids and it was more than enough. *GARLIC PARM FRENCH FRIES: Big bits of parm cheese and garlic. It was hot and tasty. *BEER MAC AND CHEESE: Very strong beer flavor. Could use a bit more cheese to offset it. *PEACH COBBLER w ICE CREAM: We were all fighting over the crust. Looked basic but packed a really good flavor and the hot/cold ice cream was just perfect. Service was friendly, laid back atmosphere and the food was decent. Volleyball courts in the back, dancefloor in the middle with what looked like a DJ booth. Potentially a really poppin' place if there were people here but the food was good.

    Beef dinner

On our way back to MO, this was pretty much the only seemingly suitable food option we had. Stopped by for dinner, ordered Rueben sandwich w onion rings and beef dinner. Enjoyed the onion rings and JS liked the beef but not so much the green beans came with it. Pretty rustic feel, well, guess that's what they intended for. Our server was pleasant and attended to us quickly shortly after we sat down. It was kind of busy; seemed a lot locals were there.

Truly surprising the food quality was some of the best I've ever had in Colorado or Wyoming state was amazing. The wings were generous portion and large fresh and tasty potatoes grown locally and the beef was just fabulous ,offer a reasonable price and a nice family atmosphere. The peach cobbler exceeded to complete a fabulous meal

Stopped here on the 4th of July on our drive out of Denver because Denver restaurants were slammed. This is your average roadside bar/restaurant. Nothing special. Nachos were pretty basic with melted store bought cheese. Chicken tasted a little rubbery. Burger was fine but coleslaw was disgusting. Again, tasted store bought with zero flavor. My husband liked the patty melt but said he's had better. The inside had a certain "sticky" feeling (booth, table, floor.) Even the beer I had felt sticky around the mouth piece. I suppose if you're driving past and starving, it's fine. I wouldn't seek this place out, though.

    Dancing, music, games and peanuts!

It's a nice venue, but the staff is rude and good luck getting a halfway decent drink at the bar. the bartenders are just beer pourers.

I was excited to try a neighborhood restaurant, so we decided to get brunch…read more Misstep 1: no price on the mimosa and when i asked - $8 a glass. Ended up being $12 on my check. Then, after sitting for an uncomfortable amount of time, i asked the host if someone was going to come around to take our order. We ordered as we had enough time to look over the menu and decide while we waited. Apparently, the restaurant was not prepared for the holiday weekend. The food: cold, burnt and under cooked. I was hungry so i ate my cold breakfast sandwich which should've been hot and one of the pieces of bread was burnt. However, the accompanying roasted potatoes were really tasty! My partner's food was undercooked: rare when requested well done and cold. How long did our food sit at the window? I sent back her food and ordered another breakfast sandwich in its place. It came out at the right temperature, but i had already finished. The restaurant realized how badly our experience was going so we were only charged for my drink and the doughnuts. The doughnuts were warm and tasty! Definitely order that dish. Missed the mark on service and food. We'll revisit eventually and hope for a better experience.

We ordered the patatas bravas and focaccia to split. The potatoes came in a generous serving and were so yummy. The focaccia was good but not mind blowing- the butter that came with it though was really good. They got a little busy so service was a tad slow, but the staff were so nice and friendly!

Visited yesterday to celebrate two birthdays in our friend group and I gotta say this is one of the…read morebest meals I've ever had in the Denver-metro. Coming from Chicago the food scene in Denver was underwhelming to say the least but there were always those few diamonds in the rough that truly showed through. Xiquita is one of those places. We started off the evening with the Pipian Verde which had a perfect variance of textures and the mole was incredible. We also got the Salsas Y Tostadas that came with a trio of sauces reminiscent of good Mexican food but with a special twist that brought more nuance to your normal chips and salsa experience. We ordered the Meijillones à la Veracruzana (mussels) and the Sikil Pak (vegetarian blue corn tostadas) both were absolutely perfect with just the perfect flavor combination in the tostadas and the richness of the mussels were to die for, the freshest I've had out here so far. We also ordered the Ceviche which came with luscious tuna that felt and tasted perfect. There were also these baked carrots in a beautiful verde salsa that changed my perspective on carrots. As for grande plates, we opted for the Asada de Pollo, Cochinita Pibil and Carne Asada. The chicken was ridiculously moist, melt in your more level soft and carried great depths of flavor through the bite when mixed with the rice and pico de tomatillo, this was my favorite thing to be consumed. The carne asada was a NY strip seasoned to perfection and included a beautiful salsa arriera which I wish I could get in a bottle and apply to literally everything I make at home, it had a touch of spice and a complex mix of flavors that evolved through the tasting. The Cochinita Pibil was my least favorite of the three grandes we purchased but still super good with tender shredded pork that incorporated a bit of the fat and included a great spattering of veggies and ensalada de frijol. As it was the birthday of a few friends present we received the Pan de Elote complimentary and that was awesome as well. The incorporation of corn into a dessert with the ice cream on top was truly the cherry on top of a great experience. Our server was super attentive with replacing plates, refilling water and providing explanations for each dish table side. We definitely felt that she exceeded our expectations on service we typically receive. Overall, 10/10 experience and I wish I took photos but I was hungry and plating made me want to eat right away. Will definitely be making this place a staple on my rotation when I'm looking to treat myself or a date to a nice night out. Huge thanks to the crew for putting on a meal that I won't be forgetting any time soon.

It's hard to recommend just one dish, but the beef cheek sopes were one that I cannot stop thinking about. So rich and flavorful! Tortillas were fantastic--fresh, warm, and full of flavor served with a charcoal butter that was a unique, but tasty addition. The cochinita pibil was another standout, tender and delicious. Their new mussels dish is absolutely fantastic with perfect amount of heat and acidity. The tuna ceviche was packed with spice, but cut with this amazing coconut milk sauce. So different than your standard ceviche. I'll be dreaming about this one. What a great experience. Thank you!
