This is the cutest little truck. I love that they have pets sign the truck, and that some of the money goes to animals. That's awesome. I got a milk tea with boba. I love that they mix whatever combination of boba you'd like for the same price. It was delicious. If I ever see this truck around, I'd definitely stop by for milk tea and friendly service :) read more

So during a Bachlorette weekend trip to the lovely little town of New Buffalo, MI I passed by Lulu's truck on several occasions. And on the last day I couldn't resist any longer.... so I finally stopped. I ordered the Peruvian Style ceviche tacos. Ya'll I have had tried quite a few tacos and these.... these tacos were amazing and so fresh. The green sauce was the perfect addition to the buttery fish. They were served with Peruvian corn nuts which added an additional authentic Peruvian texture and flavor. Each proportion of ingredient perfectly balanced as not to overpower the flavor of another. These are an incredible way to curb your hunger during a hot summer day. Oh! And don't forget to grab a boba tea. Do yourself a favor and find this cute little truck. I had this truck at my wedding of about 75 people last weekend, and I have to say I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience for my guests (and for the type of party we were throwing). It was rather risky for me to have food that I'd never tried, but the tacos - especially the sweet potato ones - and empanadas, as well as the Mexican street corn were all delicious. All of my guests raved! 10/10 would hire this truck again or recommend to others. read more

Mandy and her delicious food truck catered 140 people for our Friday evening welcome reception in Union Pier, MI, the day before our wedding. The entire process was seamless, and Mandy was very easy and fun to work with. We had empanadas, tacos, street corn, and salad... and despite a large (and hungry!) group, there was never much of a line, and we received dozens of compliments on the food and overall experience. I have been wanting to try this truck since it has been brought to my attention. It was parked at a spot on Highway 20 and Hitchcock Road in Michigan City. Very glad I did. I ordered a special "Frank and Fries". Along with a Watermelon and Lychee Bubble Tea. First, the "Frank and Fries" was a tasty treat. All beef dog chopped then tossed with fries. Usually, that would be good enough for me...but there was this "Green Sauce" that was drizzled on top. It was fantastic and full of flavor. I'm going to get it again soon. The Bubble Tea!!! I have run into Lulu's a few times now so I feel good about posting a review having had almost everything on the menu now. The tacos and empanadas are honestly amazing...you can't get the pork Bally anywhere else and it is so good! I love bubble tea and that is tasty and refreshing. I recommend asking for them to surprise you or the milk tea. Oh, they have taro tea too and that is great too. For a bigger sweet tooth you can't go wrong with deep fried Oreos. I find myself always looking for that cute green truck wherever there are food trucks. Great to see they are also donating a portion of their tips to a good cause as well. We had the pork belly tacos, the fish tacos and a couple of bubble teas at the taste of Michigan city. The pork belly tacos were by far the best thing at the entire taste. We tried a total of 7 places at the taste and the pork belly tacos smoked everything. Damn good. Really fun sauce too. read more
