What a mistake that was. Got the long sleeve shirt and washed it with some of my other laundry to make sure it was covid safe- whatever. Then I take my clothes out of the dryer and 3 of my favorite WHITE shirts are completely blue/ grey and my limited edition $129 sweatpants were changed to an awful patchy grey color. I DM'd on IG and the owner offers me a STORE CREDIT to return the long sleeve??? It was your negligence of not WARNING customers that washing their "vintage" tie dye shirt was going to wreck all your other clothes if washed together. First of all- this isn't even real vintage. If it was, no one should have even had to think twice about the dye messing up my other clothes. And secondly, to offer just an in-store credit by returning the item is BS. It was an overpriced too anyways, I will not be supporting this business anymore.

The music playing drew me into the store. Add lots of cool and useful items. Like murses(man purse) that carry what modern humans usually have in their hands. Fun, Neon LED art that can be made to order at a very fair price. Handmade bench/stool with storage underneath, perfect for all the clutter at the door. Crystal whiskey glasses that depict National Parks, Which can be chilled at the perfect temperature for a 25 year old whiskey. This is just to name a few items that stood out on my visit. Sidecar Mercantile is a great representation of coolness & gifts for that hard to buy for someone or just for yourself. BTW there is a real sidecar at the entrance, but it's not for sale,perhaps the right price.

Upon walking in we were greeted by a friendly woman working the front desk. Immediately I noticed how clean and organized the shop was! The selection was really nice and they made great use of their space! I noticed some empty rooms in the back and when I inquired I was told that they are expanding to add a salon which I thought was a pretty cool concept. Over all it was a little pricey but it is a curated selection and it is in downtown Petaluma so I'm sure a large portion of that is due to overhead. No stars deducted for price because prices seemed to be on par with other stores that carry similar stuff. Over all I would highly recommend this store if you're looking for vintage clothing!

We had a fun event going on this past week at work, and I needed to get my hands on some tie- dye…read moreclothing. I procrastinated till the last minute, and was guessing desperately where to get some clothing. Cali Kind Clothing was the tie-dye star guiding me to what I needed. I had no idea there was a tie-dye only place!! The gps from Petaluma had me on the highway then looping around further ahead which got me back on the highway, but it got me to easily turn off on the right to the parking lot. Amazing clothing from t- shirts, sweaters, pants, dresses- all things tie-dye. Some of it was around $40+ for shirts, but there was a discounted section too. Different materials of fabric (I chose some softer ones since I was going to be wearing it most of the day). The gentleman who runs it was very helpful and friendly. Definitely knowledgeable in the craft as he talked about fabric material, pre-shrunk techniques, and me seeing all the cool designs, color patterns, prints alongside the colors (there was a really cool skull tie-dye shirt I was tempted to buy). I wore it all day Monday at work and shopping after- all were in awe of the beauty of it. Then found myself later wearing it cause it was nice and comfortable. Very colorful, and most importantly- comfortable. I let those who asked know- Cali Kind Clothing. . It's the place to go if you want to buy some cool tie-dye clothing and some cool prints and designs along with it. They definitely had what I was looking for!
