Repeat Customer! Derek did a lot of work on my trees at the end of last summer, when everything still had leaves and they looked great. For the Spring, my big Chinese Pistachio needed more crown thinning so that we can get grass under it. He also cleaned up a Fig tree that had been severely damaged by weather. Everything looks great and he and his crew are easy to work with. He really listens to concerns and offers excellent suggestions. First review: Prompt, professional, nice crew. After tree removal and thinning, the debris clean up with thorough. We have a lot of trees on our creek lot and they showed up on the scheduled day, got the work done, and left only a better view when they were done. The next weekend, Derek sent his nutrition guy, who was incredibly passionate about the trees, to treat a couple that needed some help. We already see improvements. Derek and his Team are the best. They not only completely took down a huge Live Oak Tree that was damaged by some severe Storms recently. The Crew was extremely fast and did an exceptional job cleaning up after they were done. I also used Derek and his Team also for some much needed Tree Trimming. Lumberjack Tree service is the best!! This is the second time I have used this company. once again they have left me feeling like a huge burden has been lifted. They trimmed my trees in my park way, trimmed Crepe Myrtle's off of my room, trimmed a huge pecan tree in my back yard and took out a 10' to 15' tree that was growing 2 inches from my house. They throughly cleaned up after the job was done and my yard looks magnificent!!! They were even more kind by letting me know that there is an area of my roof where the Crepe Myrtles were that needs some attention. I HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone!! Lumberjack has completed several jobs for us over the years (from pruning to tree removal/stump grinding) and we have been consistently pleased with the results. Excellent service, came and looked at job, started immediatlely. I had 2 trees cut down, A red oak and an Ash tree that was the equivalent of 3. The stump was almost 6' in diamater. It hung over my house, the house next door, and all over the back yard. Price was best I found out of 3 estimates. The stump of he large tree was ground down 18", it was so huge. The tree had left a big hole in the fence from growing out over the many years it was there. The even stayed to help me fix the fence so the dog would not get out. Tree Service and Fungus! We have only had our trees serviced when we first moved into this home and just now. Derek and his crew were beyond respectful to us and our trees! :). Lumberjack Tree Service contacted me right away about removing a tree on a rental property I own in Dallas, which was nice. They sent someone right away to check the tree and give me an estimate, this was especially helpful as I was unaware that the tree had split and part of it of sitting on the neighbor's house. I have used Lumberjack tree service many times over the past 15 years or so. The owner, Derek Hebert, is very involved in the day-to-day work, and he makes sure his team does the job right. I have had them do tree removal, stump grinding, periodic trimming/reshaping and pest control. Prices are very fair, work is done quickly, and clean-up was perfect. Derek is a great guy to work with, kind and obviously very knowledgeable about his business. We hired him to remove a very large tree from out front yard and to trim all the other trees and crepe myrtals around our house. He and his team worked very carefully to remove the tree so that our home (with some very large windows!) weren't damaged. His work on our crepe myrtles was wonderful. I have used this company, before.... but, today was an exception. Recent storms had caused some of our established old trees limbs to fail. Last night's storm / winds have left a few large limbs rest in another tree. All these limbs were hanging over our front porch and walkway. I called Lumberjack and they dropped what they were doing ( another job in Fairview ) to come and take care of this emergency situation. Derek Hebert the owner of Lumberjack Tree Service came out to give us an estimate and come out the very same day to do our two live oaks that hadn't been trimmed in about 3 years. He did a lot of thinning to allow sunlight for the grass to grow.
