The walls at bottom are not even. There is a lot of sticky residue on railings, particularly the upper area. The window at the top of the stairs has white primer smeared around edges. I used Yelp to help me find a handyman for a job that I couldn't do myself and also a job that I needed done quickly. It looked like my request for services went out to 3 businesses. I wrote back to all 3 but only one was responsive enough to make me happy. And I'm not hard to please, I only ask for same day response. Elias Handyman Services was very responsive. We came to an agreement on the job that I needed done and the price, same day. I needed my storage unit in the basement of my condo cleaned out because the HOA is doing plumbing work. On Tuesday, a very nice, soft spoken young man named Luz arrived right on time. I went over with him what stays and what goes. I also let him know that my neighbor Wes has more authority than I do about what is garbage. I told him to feel free to text me a pic if he's not sure. He did a very good job and I went down to the basement to tip him $20 but he was gone. Paying was easy with Zelle. Called multiple companies to come out and give quotes for removal of current attic insulation and installing new and removing black mold. They came out and gave a quote that was reasonable. They came out within a week of approving quote. The Owner called and said they would be here at 8 am on this day and 8 am on the next day (as it would most likely take 2 days) They were on time. Honest. Did great work True to the price, and gave us the heads up that the price may change if certain things came up prior to work being preformed. Kept there work space clean and when they left for the the day they made it look like there were never here! After work was completed the work space was cleaner then when they showed up! After work was completed the owner had me inspect everything to make sure it was up to my standard. (And it was) explained everything they did in layman terms. Jesus Elias is a Fraud and a liar. He tricked an elderly 79 year old widow out of $40,000 . We, her family have reported him to law enforcement and are currently trying to pursue him in a civil suit. He promised her that he would fix her shed to use as outdoor space, he was going to fix the deck, the ramp, her roof, etc. Granny is not used to dealing with builders or anything of that nature and he asked her for the money up front, for materials and supplies and the work men etc so she gave him a check. He put up some dry wall, some pain, a bit of flooring.... People came sometimes and sometimes not, maybe a day maybe a few hours, the truck broke down, then he was sick, then one of his guys had a doctor's appointment etc. Finally I (daughter) asked him not to do any more work for my Mom, and to return the unused money about $35,000 he said he would... But so far nothing, no money has been returned to her. No calls have been returned to her. Her money has been stolen by Jesus Elias. Do Not Trust This Man. I had limited time to update our kitchen with new counter tops and new island top that included enlarging the island and adding two posts/legs for support. Also adding two new pendant light and eliminate one. At Jesus's direction, his crew showed up on promised day, removed the existing tops, cook top, and sink. the following day measurements were taken and template created for the new quartz tops. Two days later the new counter tops and island were delivered and installed, along with the new sink, faucet, and cook top. The new pendant lights were also installed. All this was done in less than a week. The workers were efficient, professional and polite. Worked well together to achieve the desired result, with outstanding coordination. We had a terrible experience. The quality of work was so bad we had to fire them. Jesus is incapable of providing quality building services and he has left us in a situation that will cost us tens of thousands to fix. He's unreliable, does not set a schedule, his guys turn up whenever they want, his paper work is non existent. He substitutes materials, I wish this was the end of the list. Jesus and his crew replaced the insulation and sheathing under our house, in an open air crawl space. They did a terrific and thorough job from start to finish. After removing the old insulation, they found that mice had been chewing on the electric wiring. Jesus had his electrician out the very next day to replace the affected lines. And the additional work was only a few hundred dollars. I'm sure if I had to contract that separately, it would have been in the thousands. After all was complete, they thoroughly cleaned the entire area, showed us pictures of the work, which looked great, and hauled everything off. Excellent experience and excellent pricing.
