Upon selecting our own seating, we were informed that they were NOT serving brunch and they were out of eggrolls. Additionally, our server is stuck in traffic, so we have to wait until her arrival. While waiting for our server to arrive, we were "entertained" by an unaccompanied child a few times. There were 6 women in our party. All enjoyed their food and drinks (which were strong). I ordered the Rasta Pasta with no protein. I wanted to order the Cajun Pasta with Vegetables but was informed by the server that they don't really have vegetables and that she does not recommend that order. I appreciated the honesty. The Rasta Pasta was good - B+. When we finished our meal, we requested little plates to serve the birthday cake. We were brought plates. Shortly after, to our surprise, the other party that was there had a birthday song along with sign and sparklers presented to their table. Our table did not receive that treatment. I asked our server why we didn't get that treatment, she stated because they had their cake stored in their kitchen. This was an unacceptable response. Our server was well aware of our table's birthday celebration as she commented on the cake when she first arrived and asked whose birthday it was. To receive no acknowledgment felt very disrespectful. To add insult to injury, the other party was an all-white crew, while my party was an all-black crew. The food and drinks were good. However, the poor service and accommodations, lack of brunch and acknowledgment for our birthday girl, has made my decision to never return.

Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and wrapped in warm, fresh tortillas. No dryness, no shortcuts, just clean flavor that lets the grill speak for itself. You can tell the chicken wasn't rushed or drowned in sauce to hide mistakes. Now let's talk about the Adana mix grill. This is the kind of plate that makes the table go silent for a minute. Everything was cooked with intention. Smoky, tender, well-spiced meats that tasted like they came straight off an open flame, not a reheated pan. Portions were generous without being sloppy, and every bite held its own. The service was warm, attentive, and unpretentious. Staff actually checked in without hovering, knew the menu, and made solid recommendations. That alone puts Adana ahead of a lot of places. The ambiance ties it all together. Cozy but upscale, relaxed without feeling casual. Great lighting, clean space, and a vibe that works whether you're on a date, with family, or just treating yourself to a good meal. Adana isn't trying to be trendy. It's just focused on doing good food, good service, and good atmosphere consistently. And honestly, that's rare these days. Definitely a repeat visit.

That's just me, I'd definitely go if I wanted some appetizers and a few drinks with the girls though. It looks like it's a limited monthly menu, so it may change based on season? three of us got the burger, all agree, burger is good, the paprika aioli that came with my parm truffle fries had a bit of a kick, not heat, just a kick. my husbands Chicken dinner though? i think stole the show. it had a good flavor profile and the peanut sauce didn't kick your face in with peanut flavor. it was definitely Thai inspired, but...had a downhome kind of charm to it. Service was good, never had an empty water glass. Little bit of showmanship with the chicken dinner. our server slipped in and out to refill our waters without...being intrusive. So for what I went for? A bit of a family diner with the sister and brother in law? not the right atmosphere. it really is an amazing place to just go for cocktails I think though.

My prompt to my gpt this morning included "family owned, cozy place, food that hugs you like a grandma after a long time away, etc" this is one of the best places I've been in USA so far. I also woke up idealizing to only try new things and no repeats but I've already ordered a second drink haha I absolutely don't want to leave. As soon as you walk in they greet you and help you out, then the bartender (I came by myself so I sat on the bar) approached me with the most warmth and helped me getting something according to her experience and taste but considering my taste and preferences. The food came (quick for how busy it is 12 min) The food tastes just like a grandmas food that she's been working the entire day on it. I can't wait to be back here. Also I didn't have anything the entire day and couldn't finish my plate because the amount of food is way more than decent. Place is clean, music is great and volume even better, you can see families bringing their babies to enjoy meals here. Also everyone that works here and so nice and polite even if they're not serving you this is my favorite place from now on and I will not shut about it haha adding a picture of my drink (which we are repeating ) and plate that I'll be bringing the leftover home

We went on a Friday night, and while it wasn't packed at first, the crowd picked up as the night went on. I really appreciated the staff for letting us move from a booth to a larger table before it got busy since our party kept growing. There were a couple of hiccups with our food, but our server resolved them quickly and without any fuss. The hookah was good with plenty of flavor options, the drinks were solid, and the food was tasty -- nothing over the top, but definitely enjoyable until later when I learned about the health score. The vibe was chill, and the music kept the energy just right. If I had two suggestions, would be to have someone assigned to bathroom duty throughout the night -- because the restroom situation was rough and only got rougher as the night went on and to get that health score up!

Shortly after she beaks it with incense in a flame unnecessarily large to burn incense. I thought ok cool she's trying to attack the smell. She stuck the incense in the ATM. Ok...then she stood in the entry way with her back turned to me staring at me through the glass with a face appropriate for a low budget scary movie. Decided not to order food after o ordered a hookah and a corona. Hookah was visibly dusty. Check please! My $25 hookah and beer was $40.30? How? Pass!!! Never again. Hit the chefs info so I can see him at the next spot he moves on to. Very creepy experience. Need to Sage myself after visiting Sage. Bye.

I went to Soho Lounge for a girls' night with friends and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised…read more I am usually a little hesitant about lounges but this is easily one of the better ones in the Atlanta area. Parking One of the first things I appreciated was the parking situation. You actually have options here. Valet was twenty dollars which I chose, or you can park for free yourself. A lot of lounges make you pay for parking so I thought this was a nice touch. Atmosphere and Seating I found the lounge through a quick Google search and was drawn in by the fact that they had both a live band and the legendary DJ Frank Ski performing that night. The vibe is definitely mature with people dressed in linen suits, nice dresses and heels. I did not make a reservation and arrived about forty five minutes after opening. At that point the bar was already full and the only free option was a shared section for walk-ins. Honestly it worked out well. The section easily fit twelve to fifteen people and we had more than enough space. I strongly recommend making a reservation if you want your own table. Food and Drinks The menu is pretty limited but I split the seafood plate with a friend. It came with fried catfish, shrimp, and potato rounds. Everything was hot, well seasoned, and came out quickly. For drinks I had two French 75s with cognac and they were made perfectly balanced and smooth. Service Our server Taya was wonderful. She was attentive, friendly, and patient with all of our questions. The only hiccup was with the hookah service. On the refill the hookah was not pulling correctly and it took a little back and forth before they swapped it out. Once it was fixed we were good to go. Overall Between the live entertainment, great drinks, solid food, and attentive service I had a really good time. I would definitely come back, especially with a reservation in place.

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Marietta Proper in Marietta…read more We arrived around 5:00 PM on a Saturday without a reservation. The restaurant was not even half full, yet we were told that the indoor tables were "reserved" and that our only option was to sit at the bar. After going back and forth with the host, Jess, we were eventually offered outdoor seating, which we accepted. We ended up sitting outside for approximately two hours. However, when we were leaving, we noticed that the indoor tables we had been told were reserved were still empty. In fact, they appeared to have never been reserved at all. That was extremely frustrating because we would have gladly sat inside if we had simply been told the truth from the beginning. Jess was pleasant enough when we first arrived, but toward the end of our meal, the service became noticeably inconsiderate. Our dishes were left piled on the table while we were given the check, rather than having the table cleared and maintained appropriately. It made the end of the dining experience feel rushed and neglected. After finishing our meal, we asked to speak with a manager to express our concerns. Unfortunately, the only resolution we received was an apology. An apology is appreciated, but in this situation, it did not address the larger issue. The experience left me feeling that we were treated differently for not having a reservation, despite the restaurant having plenty of available seating. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to Marietta Proper. There are far too many restaurants in the Atlanta/Marietta area where customers can expect to be treated with honesty, consideration, and basic hospitality.
