There is so much to see and enjoy in the boutique store / part gallery. From Fleetwood Mac memorabilia to unique items to bring home. Kells seems to welcome all questions and shares wonderful band information. On a random day you might even see Mick in the store welcoming everyone and even possibly Gretchen Rhodes from the Mick's Maui Fleetwood Rumors band. The HIGHLIGHT of our day in Paia was visiting Mick's House of Fleetwood.... AND we met GRETCHEN RHOADES!!!!! She's a FANTASTIC singer and performs at Fleetwood's on Front Street, Lahaina, Maui. We've seen her perform with Mick, Willie K. and the house band MULTIPLIE times and EVERY performance is FANTASTIC!! You gotta check the Fleetwood's on Front Street Lahaina schedule and buy tickets to a show as soon as possible! Meanwhile in Paia, Mick's House of Fleetwood is JAM PACKED with unique Fleetwood Mac memorabilia, autographed tour items, even retro tour t-shirts that are IMPOSSIBLE to find elsewhere! There's even instruments from the makers who supply the band with instruments for sale. Beautiful stuff!!! We snapped up unique gifts, took a photo with Gretchen, Mick's nephew and the lovely young lady who is the very first employee of the very first Mick's House of Fleetwood! Great memories were made today! We look forward to visiting again on our next trip to Paia, Maui.

We found another hidden treasure trove on Maui. Da Warehouse has taken over 2 niche markets…read more They sell new, unique, imported furniture items in the front of the store. If you're into hand carved, one-of-a-kind pieces from the far east, check it out. In the back (the warehouse), they sell used furniture from local resorts that have remodeled their units. This is what we were interested in, but sorta worried that the items would be cheaply made. We've seen particle board dressers with holes in the top for bolting down lamps. This was not the case. The pieces we looked at were obviously high quality with a few marks from expected wear. There were lots of different tables, night stands, chairs, hotel art, mirrors, televisions, lamps and bedding. The kind of stuff you would find in your room at a resort. We bought a huge credenza with doors and drawers that fit perfectly and operate smoothly. Even noticed that the back was solid plywood. We've been through all of the furniture stores on the island and did not find a anything that compares to the quality. And the price was so low. We also bought an end table from the same resort. Also, great quality. Drawers work smoothly. I notice drawers because I've seen pricey items elsewhere with no drawer guides. Both items came with glass tops. Nice. Da Warehouse doesn't have a shipping department. They might want to add that in the near future. But, they know a guy. Joel took our call and we worked out a deal for him to to the delivery right then. Quick and very friendly.

I remember picking up a dress and debating "do I want to try this on..." and right away, one of the gals came over and asked if she could start me a fitting room. It didn't feel like a salesperson pouncing on a sale. It felt almost like a slumber party atmosphere! The original sales gal and 2 other workers were now involved and they made it so fun! Once I got in the fitting room, it felt like a fashion show. But instead of everyone telling me "everything looks great/cute" (toxic positivity), they were using their expert language and asking ME how I felt or what I thought. I really appreciated that! They grabbed me other sizes and showed me other versions of outfits (wide leg pants vs. oversized button down vs. shirt dress). I actually wore one of the shirt dresses out! As I was checking out, I noticed another part of the store. I completely walked right past it! And that was their jewelry side! I fell in love with 2 necklaces on that side! By this time, the owner had come out and it was a full blown party. I recently lost my mom - out of habit, I went to call her to ask which of the 2 necklaces she loved best. I had to use the gals at the store to be my stand-in-mom-energy, and I ended up treating myself to both! Now those pieces were expensive (both 14k!) but I wear them every single day. They remind me of my trip to Maui
