The class is welcoming to all ages and no-one makes a point of noticing that us 60 and ups are in the same class with 20-30 year olds which is quite nice.

It was quite a lovely Autumn day where a group of about 10 people arranged out mats in a large circle on her property. It was very invigorating doing the poses and meditation in the brisk clean air. But more than that it was about connection to all the people and specifically Elana's professional leadership in making people feel accepted, appreciated and cared for. The 5 hours of that afternoon flew by and at the end of the day I was enriched and inspired. These kinds of gatherings are far too few for me and I would advocate to have more of them in my life.

The format is perfect....getting settled to relaxing music, moving into simple cat/cow/down dog postures and working up to more complex and varied asanas, then a great ending meditation with candles. I found the owner, Maria, down to earth and welcoming; she made a really special space. The classes I've attended so far are a mix of people, (different ages and abilities) but it all "works". As a small business owner myself, I appreciate that she went the extra mile to provide everything for a class (mats, blocks, blankets, even water and hair elastics when I forget to bring one!)
