My daughter was recently in an accident with her Honda Accord and Lundgren was one of the body shops that the insurance company recommended.

I just went on and for local vehicles I had 16 to choose from. They have all the good cars in Charlotte, Atlanta, Texas, etc. It seems like lately you have to get everything delivered because nothing good is on site, or maybe that's what they say so they can charge delivery fees, I don't know. The people that work there are nice, especially Sherry, she always takes great care of me, but as far as getting anything decent, good luck! They hardly ever prep the cars and they usually smell like cigarettes and are all dented and have extensive damage, at least that's been my experience over the last 13 months.

I am currently in a dispute with Flexcar over two reimbursements: the first for a rental I had to get from another agency when a Flexcar rental broke down due to an oil pan crack that spread from vibration on a long road trip and another for the $704 monthly rental fee billed to me nearly a month after the car was TOWED to their facility. In regards to the breakdown from the oil pan crack, I had taken the vehicle into their facility due to oil leaking in the driveway. I was told the vehicle wasn't leaking oil, that the cap on top of the reservoir wasn't sealed correctly and oil was "blowing out the top when the car heated up" which as a girl with a father who is a Mechanic is a load of BS. I then mentioned a upcoming road trip from Tennessee to Georgia as part of an ongoing move and said my concern was that I would be stranded as a woman alone if the car broke down along the way in a rural area. I again was assured this would be fine. Sure enough, the car went into EPC mode and stopped 15 miles outside of any city. With the help of good Samaritans, I was able to get the car to a mechanic who informed me the car was not drivable. Upon calling Flexcar, they said they initially offered NO assistance and also said "we do not tow more than 150 miles." It wasn't until I was balling on the phone and became irate at the fact I was stranded 3 hours away from home by myself that they offered a $50 Lyft credit and said they would tow the car back to their facility. Ultimately, it was the Mechanic at the location - not Flexcar - who helped me in my search for rental car, which I had to uber 30 minutes to, drive 30 minutes back and transfer all of my suitcases/boxes before heading home. After fighting with Flexcar, they agreed to reimburse the rental which I have now been going back and forth with them on for WEEKS with no payment. In regards to the $704 monthly rental, I received a notice 5 days prior to the draft from my account that my rental would be renewing on the 15th. I immediately reached out stating this vehicle was TOWED to them weeks prior and closed. I was told this would be taken care of and I would not be charged, but low and behold, I was charged. I've now been sending multiple emails a day and calling Flexcar who have yet to make this right. Do not seek services from this company, and definitely do not provide them access to any of your banking/credit accounts. I wish I wouldn't have.

I pulled over and noticed the compressor belt moving abnormally. When I dropped the car off, I was extremely specific: I told them there was an issue with the belt, that it sounded like something had fallen off, and that the problem could be reproduced by turning on the AC. I paid Lundgren for a diagnostic. They came back with a list of recommended repairs -- none of which involved the belt. Because that made absolutely no sense given why the car was there in the first place, I called and specifically asked about it. I was initially told the belt was fine. I then asked whether they had actually turned on the AC, since I had explicitly told them that was how to reproduce the issue. A technician later got back to me and told me that yes, he had turned on the AC and there were no problems with the belt. I came to pick up the car, started it in their parking lot with the AC on, and within THREE MINUTES the belt was visibly acting up again. I took a video and immediately went back inside. Kenny at the service desk apologized, told me his manager was gone, and asked me to email him so he could handle it. I emailed him. No response. In the meantime, I brought the car to another mechanic. They found that the tensioner had FALLEN OFF the compressor belt and told me they were surprised the belt was even still on. The second mechanic also told me my front brakes were rotted and needed new pads and rotors -- another significant problem that somehow did not appear anywhere on Lundgren's paid "diagnostic." So I paid Lundgren to diagnose a car after specifically explaining the problem, where it was, and exactly how to reproduce it. They assured me a technician had tested the exact condition I described and found nothing wrong. I reproduced the problem myself in their parking lot within three minutes, and another mechanic subsequently found that an actual COMPONENT WAS MISSING from the belt system. Then came the customer service. I called after getting no response to my email. Kenny said he would speak to his manager and get back to me. No response. I called again. I was eventually told that, from their perspective, they had "done everything by the book and what we could for you." Apparently "by the book" means charging someone for a diagnostic, missing the specific mechanical problem they brought the car in for, missing another major repair, assuring the customer the problem was checked and did not exist, and then repeatedly failing to return calls after being shown that the diagnosis was wrong. I told them I was prepared to leave a negative review because of how poorly this had been handled. I was again told someone would get back to me. Nobody did. Days later, I called again and nobody even answered. I called back hours later and finally reached someone. I told them that if nobody contacted me, I would dispute the diagnostic charge with my credit card company and leave this review. Still nobody called me back. Mistakes happen. What makes this experience unacceptable is not simply that they missed something. It is that I SPECIFICALLY TOLD THEM what the problem was, WHERE it was, and HOW TO REPRODUCE IT. They then specifically told me they had performed that test and that the belt was fine. I demonstrated otherwise in their own parking lot almost immediately after paying them. And when given multiple opportunities to address it, they simply stopped responding. I have very little confidence in either the quality of the diagnostic work I paid for or the way Lundgren handles a problem when a customer points out that their diagnosis was clearly incorrect. I would not bring my vehicle here again.

He answered or got back to me within the days between paperwork and picking up the car, and he made sure I was comfortable before sending me off. The entire process was much easier than expected. Overall, highly recommend!

Since I don't trust anybody when it comes to mechanics last night I went out and took a Sharpie and made marks on all the bolts that would have to be removed to take the air intake off the mass air flow sensor off to get to the fill plug. After checking out and telling me my car was all set and paying $400 I opened my hood when I got out to the parking lot and noticed that every single Bowl lined up with the marks I made. I then went in and questioned how he filled my transmission if none of the bolts were removed. He then admitted that he never actually changed my fluid. So the mechanic lied to me told me how much fluid it took when I asked him and yet then finally admitted to the fact when I called him out that he never actually did the job I saw my car up on the lift but he never actually changed it. Do yourself a favor and never ever go to Herb Chambers Hyundai. Do not buy a car from them do not go there for service they are Crooks and they try to rob me a $400 that they had to then pay me back said it was a mistake a miscommunication and I could come back and they would give me a discount. I will never ever bring my car back to Herb Chambers Hyundai of Auburn nor will I ever buy a car from them ever again heed the warning because this could happen to you

Just reaching out through text so that you can see everything written out and can look it all over. So the driver side mirror does need to be replaced and the cost would be $532.96 with parts, tax, and labor. Also the tpms light is on because the left rear tpms sensor is not reading and should be replaced along with 4 tires. The tread on all 4 tires is low. The ost to replace all 4 tires with the tpms sensor would be $624.50. Next, as for the horn not working it does need to be replaced and that would be $350. with parts, tax, and labor. The tech found the right front inner and outer tie rods need replacing as they have alot of play, the cost to replace these would be $767 with an alignment afterward. And last the check engine light is on for 2 issues. First is for the mass air flow sensor would need to be replaced $454.47. And lastly, there is a "code of death" for the transmission meaning that the transmission would need to be replaced and the cost of that would be $6365. Please let me know what you'd like to do. And if you'd like to speak to someone from sales to see if trading in the vehicle is an option please let me know that as well! Reply STOP to cancel.
