The pizza dough is fresh , which makes the crust superior and oh so tasty . ALSO Ordered A supreme Pizza . The same nummy crust but with all the toppings , sausage pepperoni shrooms b. I have driven past this pizza restaurant several times and decided to try it last night. The pizza was cold and had very little cheese. The spaghetti was flavorful and had a good portion of meat in the sauce. Not sure if I will be back for pizza but would recommend the spaghetti. read more

I was all excited to try this place as it had 5 stars on yelp. Pretty disappointing...The pizza had very little sauce, very very little cheese and very skimpy with the toppings:( The dough was good and the bread sticks were actually very good. They really need to add more cheese, seems like they are being cheap! Overall I would probably not eat here again...back to mama's and papa's pizza grotto!! read more

This place came highly recommended from a co-worker of mine and I finally decided to give it a try when I needed my pizza fix. Their pizzas are good, but a little too dough for my personal taste. I still rated this place at five stars for the huge load of toppings the put on their pizzas and for the price you get it at. A big plus for me. read more

BEST PIZZA IN NORTH COUNTY! Holy moly I was floored when I stumbled across this gem this week. Stopped in to get two personal pies and some ravioli for lunch and wow this place is nice. Lady in the front was friendly and knowledgable about all of the menu items. Everything is made fresh daily - down to the bread for the submarines and the pasta for the lasagna and other dishes. Wings, pizza, sandwiches, pasta, calzones, cannolis, they got it all! My order took no less than 10 minutes before it was hot n fresh in my hand. Got some extra marinara dipping sauce for the breadsticks and went straight home to devour it. Hand tossed dough held the sauce perfectly and had the best crunch to it. All ingredients were fresh and cooked to perfection. No doubt I will stop nowhere but here from now on when i have cravings for carbs. read more

This place is a hidden treasure. It's such a small place in the middle of nowhere but it's really REALLY clean. Their ingredients were prepared fresh and you can really taste it in their dough. I had a two-topping medium pizza and seriously the texture of the dough won me over. The service was great, cashier was really nice. Great pizza place. They deliver within the time line quoted upon order. Pizza and hot subs are great. Salads are good but I have not found a Italian dressing better than upper crust pizza's. They just got rid of their cheap pepperoni pizza take out special but I am in love with the softness of the dough and their sauce. Now it's only like a dollar more. Still a great deal. One time after I took the pizza home and reheated it the next day it was pretty dry -- so I asked them to add extra sauce next time I ordered. Perfect! Still awesome the next day :) The lady told me to try their chicken fettacine alfredo and lasagna! I will be back to do so! read more

Used a coupon and was able to get 2 pizzas and breads ticks for a decent price! I am not a huge fan of pizza usually because of the sauce. This sauce was not overwhelming and so it was perfect for me. I had the combination pizza which was yummy and my hubby and the kids usually go for pepperoni only but they tore into my pizza too. We ordered (delivery) lasagna, a small cheese pizza, a pepperoni and cheese calzone, and an antipasto salad. Delivery all the way to Oceanside was only about 35 minutes (the Papa Johns right around the corner takes longer than that lol!). Everyone I spoke with was incredibly friendly and the food was all great (and ridiculously cheap!). Nothing made me think "this is the best thing I've ever eaten" but it was all good and we are already looking forward to leftovers for lunch tomorrow. I'm wishing we would have ordered some dessert to try. We will definitely be ordering again :) read more

A little late on this review (1/10/17) as they DEFINITELY deserve a solid one! Was looking to order pizza from a local place instead, I called and the gentleman that took my order was unbelievably polite and kind. It's hard to even find people these days who provide decent customer service on the phone and this man was lovely. He told me my order when be derived in 30 to 45 mins, but it showed up at my door in 25 mins. I was shocked but like in a good way. The whole experience ordering a delicious Hawaiian pizza and the service was most definitely a 10/10! I will definitely be ordering from here again! Thank you for being so nice to me! read more

I REALLY wanted to LOVE this place because they are close to our new house and they have delivery and pretty good coupon deals... But the food was just average. We got an XL black olive pizza, but the crust seems over cooked and the cheese was rubbery and very stingy with the toppings. We also got the breadsticks and wings, and while the breadsticks were HUGE they were pretty much flavorless sticks of dough and the marinara sauce provided wasn't much help since there was only enough for one stick and the sauce wasn't very good. The wings, which we ordered HOT, were just wings, nothing special, so they were average. And than we ordered the large "garden" salad... Which was just ice berg lettuce, 3 small tomatoes and some shredded mozzarella on top, their site says peppers... But we didn't get any. We had ordered ranch to go with it, and it was super watered down. I wish them the best and hope their food improves because we all love to support small businesses!!! read more

My husband and I are always looking for new places to try, and sick of the same old pizza chain restaurants, we decided to try the pizza at Lupilloz and we were not disappointed! Not only are the prices great but the food is AMAZING! It is so refreshing to order a pizza and not be able to see through the cardboard box because the pizza is so greasy. As long as I live locally, I will never order from Papa Johns, Pizza Hut or any other grease pit pizza place again! Not to mention, their spaghetti and meatballs are delicious as well! read more
