The order of breadsticks with dipping marinara

So on my way home I decided I needed a "lil sumthin" to hold me over until I fix dinner later tonight. I decided to stop by Lupilloz Pizza and grab some breadsticks. I'm glad I did, best $7 I spent on a snack ha ha! The breadsticks are great, they are soft and ready with some marina sauce for dipping. I love the sandwiches that they offer as well, but today was simply a quick stop for a snack. It didn't disappoint that's all have to say. Thumbs up all around.

This is the best pizza place in vista! I would normally order from lamppost but there "large" pizza was just always too small, it was more like a medium pizza, and for $29 bucks I wanted a large pizza that's actually large. So I decided to give lupillozz pizza a try, I placed my order through grub hub and I was afraid their large pizza was going to be small too so I opted for the giant pizza which was also $29 bucks with an added topping. As time goes by and it's almost closing time I give them a call and ask where my grub hub order is. They had told me no one from grub hub has picked it up yet, but they would be happy to cancel the grub hub order and deliver it themselves. I was very impressed with how friendly they were and offered to deliver it even after they were closed. I gave my card info over the phone and within 3 minutes the door bell rang! It was my pizza! Not only were they so friendly but they were SO fast! The giant pizza was..... HUGE! I was not expecting that at all! The pizza box didn't even fit on the stove top, and the pizza slices didn't fit on a plate. I was extremely impressed with how large it was for the price! Lamppost very small "large" pizza was the same price as Lupillozz very "giant" pizza! Not only that the pizza was INCREDIBLE! The best pizza I've had in vista thus far. It was extremely flavorful with lots of cheese and the crust was excellent and cooked perfectly. I was very impressed by my experience ordering from them, you can order via a delivery food app or just call them yourselves and they can deliver as well. I highly recommend just placing your order through them as they will get it to you very fast and the customer service is spot on! Very friendly and will do anything to accommodate you. I will forever be a customer here, the pizza is so delicious and very affordable. The giant size pizza is great for large groups and parties and will definitely get a lot of attention. My only regret is not trying this place out sooner! If you want some very delicious pizza and Italian food, this is the place to go! Thank you Lupillozz!

First time here and my first impression... Friendly and welcoming.... And they deliver. I was told by some family members to check this place out, so I did since it's walking distance from my house. Had a nice conversation with the guy over the counter who happens to be the brother in law of the owner. He told me how the chef (owner) used to run a 2 brothers from Italy for a few years... So their food selection is similar, but it stands on its own. I had the supreme pizza, the vegetables were fresh and the sausage had good taste. But what I enjoy the most was the bread/ crust, not to doughy and had a great taste on its own. I would definitely come back. read more

Great pizza at affordable pocket money price. I was walking by hungry and thinking of food. I hadn't made out my mind, when suddenly I realized I had wondered before what the pizza was like and its price. So I stopped by this place to ask if they served pizza slices. They didn't have individual slices but they had many lunch options. I ordered a personal cheese pizza for 4.99 that got me full, it was not greasy and it was delicious! The service was good and the people are courteous and polite. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick lunch, pizza night or an after day activity like beach swimming for some great pizza. Thank you for the pizza Arley! - Daniel read more

Our office just had a GIANT pepperoni pie delivered from Lupillozz and it was delicious! Totally hit the spot and perked up everyone at work. The giant feeds a small army. Simple pie with just sauce, cheeses and pepperoni but awesome flavor and texture. We'll be ordering again! read more

It was okay. We're new to the area and we're on the hunt for a new pizza place. I got a cheese with artichoke hearts on regular crust. It seemed like they just threw the 'chokes straight from the can onto the pizza. Normally they're rinsed and patted dry before use or at least sitting in a cooler drained. I didn't watch them make it, so I can't say for sure, but it tasted really brine-y. A little like white queso tbh. I love white queso, but not on a pizza. Also lacking sauce. May try again because the crust was good, just without artichokes and with extra sauce. read more

So we have never actually eaten their pizza but on Super Bowl Sunday we had a make your own pizza party and this is where we got the dough. It was a hit. The dough was the perfect consistency and we are now hooked on it. I have since come back to buy dough for more homemade pizzas. Looking forward to try out their pizza next. Looks like they have some really good deals too! read more

We ordered this pizza for delivery and I had never tried it before so we gave it a shot. Oh. My. GOD. This is the best pizza we have found locally yet! Their breadsticks are massive and so delicious and their mozzarella sticks were out of this world! Cannot wait to try some of their other stuff! It's Friday and we want pizza, unfortunately so does everyone else. All these local spots are mega packed and the wait is long. Luckily, we found this place through a coupon book. They're local, way cheaper than everyone else, and the pictures on yelp look yummy, so we took a chance. I'm glad we did because they had our order ready in 15 minutes and the lady was very nice. We had a large pizza with two topping and an order of wings. The pizza had right amount of sauce, cheese, and the crust was delicious too. The wings were great. I liked the sauce so much that I dipped my pizza in it. This just shows you don't have to pay for an overpriced pizza and wait a super long time on a Friday night. read more

What makes a great pizza great... Crust sauce and cheese. When you nail these basics with quality and freshness and you can't go wrong when ordering anything on the menu. Clean, friendly, Inexpensive quality may seem un-attainable (these days) but these guys just get it, for sure. read more

So, I read all the reviews and decided to place an order for delivery. The lady that answered was so sweet, helpful and kind- even calling me "love" at the end of our call. The guy delivering the cake was such a 'normal' guys, I almost wanted to invite him in to eat with us! The pizza was great- a teensy bit soggy, but heck it was delivery and $6 The breadsticks are over 12 inches long, and crunchy and fluffy - yummy! We will be back! Thanks read more

Pizza is pretty good better then most places the bread isn't too filling it's like one of those pizzas that's basic but yet taste good for its price. The wings are okay too. Would order again if I can't go to pizza from mars in Oceanside. read more

Probably one of the best pizza places in town. Low profile and better than other known local pie shops. Prices are also better than at any other specialty Pizza places. The have plenty of pie size options and it does not get too busy so you can order your Za and have it with you in 15 to 20 mins. Can't go wrong with those place. read more

One of my favorite places to take my toddler. We order ahead of time so when we arrive it's little waiting. He's learning Spanish and they are kind enough to speak to him in Spanish while we are there. I appreciate the people's kindness. We get the veggie pizza. The pizza was good.. bread sticks were kinda boring.. and honestly don't need to be 2' long. The mozzarella sticks however tasted nasty.. we threw them away. Hours later in the middle of the night we all got sick. If the owners see this.. take a look at your deep fryer.. something did not taste right about them. read more

First time so I figured any Italian place worth it's salt should make a pretty good Italian sausage sandwich. It was 3 p.m. so the place was completely empty. Sauce and mozzarella were OK but the sausage was over cooked , slightly tough, and dry. Bread was also over heated and could have been much better. Fairly sure the sandwich was microwaved or put into the oven as it was still very hot after driving home. Mama and Papas does it better and their lunch special includes a very nice salad too. read more

VERY disappointed in both the pizza and grub hub. After a hour and a half Called lupilliozz to find out where the order was and the girl really couldn't care less about My order and said they really don't make money off the grub hub orders and then laughed. Pizza did arrive cold. The grub hub delivery person just left at the door. Was nowhere to be seen when i opened the door. So this was my first time and last time i will use grub hub or lupilliozz i will spend my money where the appreciate my business read more

Best delivery pizza in vista! Ordered a XL white sauce pizza (Alfredo) with garlic, onions, pepperoni, bacon on 1/2 and green bell, onions, mushrooms, and pepperoni on the other. I was skeptical at first because I've experienced some really bad delivery here in vista and also I've found a lot places don't actually deliver. But when I called in the woman on the phone was very courteous and made sure she had my order correct before running my card Then when the delivery man showed up he asked us how wefound them (yelp) he then told me he was "excited we found them" and thanked us for ordering from them. the pizza was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing! My family loves Lupillozz Pizza! We usually get delivery, but the other day we decided to stop into the restaurant. We enjoyed the friendly service, and the restaurant was so clean, absolutely spotless! The breadsticks are over a foot long and my son LOVES them. I only write reviews when the food/service is either really bad or really good. After living in NY and the DC area ,I have to say Lupillozz has one of the best pizza!!! The lady taking the order on the phone was very efficient. I was told my order was going to arrive within 46-50 minutes but the food arrived in 30 minutes. The delivery gentleman was very polite. Lastly, the pizza, wings and cheesecake were tasty/delicious!!! read more

Photo 2&3 are photos of delicious pizzas that are from Oggi's Pizza & Brewing Co. which is about 5 minutes away from Lamppost which is where we ended up after only ordering an appetizer at Lampost and being petrified we were going to catch the Hanta from the rips in the booth. My husband is a big fan of the meat lovers. I like the Hawaiian. upper crust is always very generous with the toppings. when you take your piece of pizza out of the box you have to go back with a spoon to get all the extra toppings that have fallen back into the box. They seem to hire a lot of young people and everybody who's waited on us or served us has always been very professional and friendly. I did order a side of pesto to add some flavor. The lobster ravioli is always great here, so 2 people ordered it. Added chicken to the vodka penne (grandson's plate was completely emptied). Also had a fettuccini Montanara. Everyone but the grandson had leftovers to take home, so servings more than adequate. Kap really made the dinner perfect. Attentive without being over-bearing & making great recommendations throughout. Will definitely be back.

I really like this place so far! Been there 3 times now and my mom and stepdad were pleasantly surprised as well. I'm a cheese pizza girl and they put a lot of cheese on it with some good seasoning so i really liked it! Crust isn't too thick or thin just right and nice and soft. Cheesecake was good, ceasar salad was good, just ordered the cinnamon sticks and I'm excited to try. I just had the pepperoni pizza from Lupillos, and I'm blown away! I never thought something as simple as pepperoni could taste this good. The crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce had just the right amount of flavor, and the pepperoni... wow. It really took the whole experience to another level. If this is how they do pepperoni, I can't wait to try their other pizzas with more toppings! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great slice. read more

This place has amazing pizza - my fave is the margarita but their antipasto salad and seasoned bread sticks are always a hit as well. I am allergic to preservatives so it is one of the few places I can enjoy the salad without getting sick. The staff is super friendly and they deliver too!
