Lupita's has been a go to of mine for years. Definitely worth the visit when in the area. Everything here is super solid and delicious. Will definitely be back.

My bestie just moved to Lantana and it was nostalgic to stop by at Lupita's on a Sunday for lunch. We haven't been in a hot 6 years since they blew away our minds during a 1 month vegan challenge. The interior has gotten a lot nicer. The walls and seating are all creatively painted with vibrant murals and decor scattered throughout. I recall it being more shack-like in the past. This location has it's old time Florida charm. I love the updates. This was my first time exploring the meats and fish at Lupita's. I went with a carne asada/steak sope and a fish taco. My bestie went with a carne asada chimichanga, chicken taco, and a horchata. They started us out with homemade chips and salsa. The shell to the carne asada sope was crunchy and homemade, flavorfully topped with a medley of freshness -- pico de gallo, lettuce, salsa, and avocado. I tried a bit of my friend's horchata and that is absolutely delish. Lupita's is still legend of SoFlo Mexican spots to check out. Cheers!

OMG!!!! Six years passing this venue and I finally stopped in. Greeted by such a lovely young lady. I confessed that it was my first time and needed her help. Alas, the wet burrito with steak. What she didn't tell me was how large the meal is. And delicious! Took half home. Got in bed with pillow and blanket. The food coma helped my afternoon siesta. WOW!!! Home run for the money!

Wonderful lively restaurant just off Dixie in Lake Worth close to Publix. You order at the counter and they will bring your meal to you if you are eating in. The emu is extensive including breakfast as well as many types of tacos and other Mexican foods. I ordered two tacos and they brought me chips and salsa while I waited for my food. The tacos I ordered were delicious and were served with red and green sauce and onions a pepper and radish on the side. They brought the silverware in a cloth napkin which was a surprise from a place with counter service. Wonderful experience.

Their taco salad is my favorite! So yummy! They just redid the restaurant and have super cute decor, chairs, lighting, mural, etc. now! You gotta go try this place!

Absolutely delicious!! It's rare to find a good authentic Tex mex restaurant these days and I found this place after moving here! The micheladas are huge, spicy, and soooo good! The portions are large for the cost! It was my birthday and they gave me a complimentary dessert which is always super sweet I chose the flan and it was 10/10 I can't wait to go back!

This place just keeps getting better and better. I love the clean, stylish decor--it's such a fun atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is always fresh and delicious. My go-to order is the veggie burrito, and it never disappoints!

New management leveled up the joint substantially! Very fresh ingredients and careful, subtle seasoning. Workers care about the place (sadly, not at all true in the earlier incarnation). Décor is super cute, vibrant, festive. So happy for the improvements!

Chicken Empanada: homemade masa stuffed with marinated chicken covered in a sweet and savory orange bell pepper salsa/sauce.

Lupitas is now under new ownership and it changes the game! The food ...omg. This is a foodie place now. The empanadas are golden crisp covered in fresh orange bell pepper salsa, the masa is homemade...I have a couple photos, but I worked in the best Mexican comfort food place in Austin Texas and I can tell you that this is one of the best places to eat in south florida.

Look no further for your next go-to Mexican joint. Extensive menu to choose from and something for every meal of the day. Breakfast burritos will leave you full and satisfied for days and the taco salad is one of my favs! Service is friendly and food is quick + good which is all the mixings for a bomb little fast-food Mexican place. Don't let the outside deter you and give this place a try!

I've been going to lupitas for over seven years. I absolutely love their food and their hot sauce. For some reason today, September 24 the girl on the register hung up on me three times so I gave up trying to place an order over the phone and came in. She rang me up for the wrong item, told me that the kitchen hadn't started making it yet so she just told them to make my item instead. She never checked the food before giving it to me thankfully, I checked it and saw that the wrong item was given to me so I was able to have it corrected before leaving. It also seems like the hot sauce recipe was changed. It wasn't spicy at all! It seemed like I was just putting water on my food. I even had my husband try it who doesn't like spicy food and he agreed it had no spice to it whatsoever. I understand that it's gone through a change of management, but if you continue to have people like that, working at your restaurant, you're gonna lose a lot of business and please go back to the original hot sauce recipe this new one just ain't it.

My favorite Mexican food. I drive up from Boca to eat here. Always so good! Make sure you get some pork tamales and their chimichanga.

Homeless prostitution going on on the patio. We watched the woman get in multiple cars while we ate here

Counter service is increasingly getting worse. Been coming here for years and in the last year it has sucked. The food has been good but lately it's been a miss. Add to that that it feels like you are sitting in a live action Grand Theft Auto. I've never seen it this bad. Homeless people wandering the parking lot, what looked like prostitution on the patio and drug dealers in front of the neighboring liquor store - I just started laughing like what the hell is going to happen next when a homeless guy came right up to the window where our booth was and dead eye stared at me for what seemed like an hour before wondering off.

I was pleasantly surprised that the terrible smell that had smacked me on the face upon opening the entrance door was finally gone. The hostess sat us at a table and took our drink order. I asked if I could get the pastrami with cheese on a croissant as the bread was toasted too hard my last visit. I also opted for onion rings as my side. I was delighted with the look of my plate when it arrived. Pastrami looked and tasted absolutely perfect on the light and fluffy croissant. I even got a side of Russian dressing to add a hint of spice to everything. Toojays has certainly redeemed themselves in my eyes and I look forward to my next visit.

I decided to get matzah ball soup and half a corned beef sandwich on rye. The soup was very good. And it was served first, and was hot in a small bowl. My husband really liked his beef cabbage soup, too. My sandwich, however, was awful. The bread was decent, but the meat tasted so processed -- like baloney. After we pointed it out, the manager told me it had been cut wrong (with the grain). He cut some more corned beef "correctly" and brought it back. It still wasn't very good. Slightly better, but I told my husband it could have been canned ham. The manager said they changed suppliers a few years back. I think they need to change again. My husband's chopped liver was a much better choice. It came with lettuce and tomato. Oh, and of the sides, I liked the red bliss potato salad better than their coleslaw -- which had a lot of mayo in it. Bottom line -- come for breakfast or deli, but skip the corned beef.

We decided to try the pulpo anticuchero (octopus) as our starter. Holy moly it looked so amazing we didn't want to cut into it but that anticucho sauce was so full of garlic flavors we demolished it along with the potatoes and tomatoes. Listen that sauce was so tempting that we risked cyclospora disease by eating the lettuce. The soup of the day was minestrone which I'm not a fan of but it was a flavorful pesto base so I enjoyed. For my entree I got the pollo la pobre. The grilled chicken breast is always juicy and comes with a fried egg on top if you're looking to up your protein and a ton of rice that I usually cannot finish. I mainly just stuck with the fries on this one. I was so full I could barely eat the sweet plantains. I came back a second time, and she actually remembered me, which made the experience even more special. She even threw in an order of spring rolls for my son and me, jokingly saying, "I gave you extra so you won't have to fight with your son!" She was absolutely adorable and had such a great sense of humor. The Vietnamese coffee was bold, robust, and perfectly sweet--it kept me going all day. The pho was served piping hot, fresh, and full of vibrant flavors. I also ordered the fried duck with rice and vegetables, and it was absolutely delicious. It even held up well on my drive home. The duck stayed crispy and hot, and the flavorful sauce on the vegetables tied everything together perfectly. I also tried the grilled pork vermicelli bowl with peanuts. I ordered another one with chicken and asked for it without peanuts because my son has a nut allergy. It was delicious--almost like a deconstructed pho without the broth. As good as it was, I still prefer the pho because the broth is, hands down, the best part. It's rich, flavorful, and absolutely worth coming back for. The portions are generous, so you'll easily have enough for two meals. Please check out this spot and show this hidden gem some love. We started by choosing our base. My husband had the tom yum (kha?) one and our granddaughter had the classic and I chose the chicken one. My base started out a bit salty, but after all the additions it was perfect -- no need to add extra soy or salt to the broth. For sauces I chose two standards -- hoisin sauce and a mix i made of some soy sauce and vinegar (which I used for the dumplings). At our leisure -- it's all you can eat -- we tried many of the offerings. We skipped most of the exotic ones -- except my husband who happens to like chicken feet. I went for the seafood first. And liked most of what I chose, especially the large prawns which were my favorite. And I also really liked the rounds of shrimp paste. The clams were tiny, but good. The blue crabs were small and awkward to eat when so hot. I'd skip them next time. I also tried some beef and pork, but found the seafood options more to my liking. Of the veggies, I had a mix just to try a number of things. The baby bok choy leaves, the cabbage, and the bean sprouts were good, but I fell in love with those tiny little enoki mushrooms. My least faves were the taro and the hard squash For dessert, they also have fresh fruit (cherries, etc.) and cake squares on the buffet. And a separate ice cream bar. I liked their green tea ice cream the best. We were so stuffed when we left. But happy campers. We felt the price of the AYCE was well worth it here. We'd definitely come again. I think it's more fun with a group.

It was filled with people enjoying incredible food, and you could tell this place was a local favorite. Of course, I had to start with one of their Greek beers, served in a traditional beer mug, which was the perfect way to kick off the meal. We also ordered the tzatziki and hummus sampler, and I'm so glad we did. The flavors were unbelievable, and they were incredibly generous with the warm pita bread. Honestly, I ate so much of the sampler that by the time it came to order my entrée, all I could manage was a piece of grilled chicken.
