Well, we missed margarita Wednesdays ($2.99), but we had a very good lunch here anyway. They were still quite busy when we stopped by at 1ish. The restaurant isn't in the Boynton mall, but in a strip of places just south. There's parking right out front. They delivered warm chips and two types of salsa -- one hot -- to the table. These were good. My husband got the taco salad with ground beef. He liked it -- ate every bit! I had their ceviche appetizer. It's shrimp, tomatoes, onions, and cilantro in a citrus marinade. Plus sliced fresh avocado on top. I'm used to it a bit sweeter than acidic (sone places add ketchup), so I added a packet of Splenda. It was delicious. We are definitely coming back to try their margaritas and also some of the other more traditional food items in the menu.

Lunch today while running errands in Boynton and found this restaurant on our bookmarked places. It is on BOYTON MALL ROAD, NOT INSIDE THE MALL. So this was a Thursday and of course the $2.99 House Margarita Special is only offered on Wednesdays. (Next time we'll plan our arrival to take advantage!) Parking spaces are available in front but they are parallel spots. Service was very good and our orders were delivered in a reasonable amount of time. My Taco Salad with ground beef and the Green House dressing was delicious and satisfying. My wife liked her Shrimp Ceviche enough to get past the spice level. She had requested Mild.

all Margs are delicious can't go wrong

Always amazing - my favorite restaurant around here tbh don't sleep on it it's soooo good

What an adorable place! The ceviche was delicious! I loved the chicken taco (which was on HH because it was "Taco Tuesday ")! Our server was quick, efficient, and helpful.

Good service and nice atmosphere. The restaurant is currently decorated for Halloween but you can see the day to day colorful decorations. We enjoyed our meals.

Margarita flight- classic, spicy mango and strawberry

My new favorite Mexican restaurant in town. The food was so fresh and delicious. The service was extremely prompt on top of every little detail. The fried ice cream for dessert is hands down one of the best desserts I've ever had. They even had a fun margarita flight. Would highly recommend and definitely will be back.

I was going to give them a 3 rating but when we left, I noticed how poorly lit the parking lot was so I'm giving them a 2 instead. I found the food to be very bland and this was even after putting salsa on it. The spicy salsa I didn't find to be that spicy and both the spicy and non-spicy sauces didn't taste well to put it bluntly. Further, we were there for the $2.99 margarita special and for $.50 more you can get a flavored margarita. I had two mango margaritas and it seemed like there was hardly any alcohol in them. I felt just sober after my second drink as I did prior to my first drink. My taco combo main course also was nothing special and again bland, even after putting salsa on it. Service was adequate nothing special In all honesty I would not go back nor could I recommend it to someone else.

The food is very good. There is construction in the plaza but still plenty of parking. The food is very tasty. I tried the horchata water and returned it. The horchata has an odd aftertaste. Nachos and accompanying sauce were great. My daughter ordered the carnitas platter. The pork was cooked well and perfectly seasoned. Just a bit is spice. Just a couple of negative comments. The utensils delivered were dirty. The bathroom could use a bit of an update. The waitress is a. It unhappy. Looks like this is the last place she would rather be. I would definitely try this place again. Food is worth it and prices are reasonable.

Let's start with the positive, Wednesday is $2.99 margarita night. So if you are looking to just go for an app and drinks then that is your place. We arrived and it was very busy, we were expecting something great since it was so packed! It was just about the drinks. We got the veggie enchiladas and the casa Linda combo, came with one chicken enchilada, one bean tosada, and one beef taco... rice and beans with both. Unfortunately we both couldn't find anything positive, besides the rice and beans. The actual meal was inedible. The veggie enchilada we shared since it was just cheese and spinach. The service wasn't very attentive and when it was it was "anything else" over and over we felt very rushed. Mostly due to no tables with the promo. Everything cost extra we asked for sour cream, $1. I asked for more water. She took my cup with her and I never got one and she never came back. I wish we would go back. I'm giving them a 2star because of the margarita for those who drink. That is the reason to do.

I agreed that sounded like an excellent idea. Patio Tapas and Beer was supposed to have a good happy hour 5pm-7pm so we went with that. Its located in a tough spot to get a parking spot in South Mizner area, but we got lucky and landed a spot right by the front door. They had just moved to this new location from nearby a few months ago. It still felt kinda new inside in a good way. There wasn't many people there when we arrived. We were able to easily get a couple spots at their nice oaken bar. There were a handful of friendly staff there that were quick with some wine and some of their happy hour Montaditos. We tried the sangria as well which they had a large container of on the bar. We tried the potatoes, duck breast, shrimp, and Jamon iberico and manchego. Everything was darn good, the iberico possibly the best. Oh, and the Spanish omelet was a nice bite as well. It was a nice happy hour; much better than going to the gym. We will have to stop in again soon. They had alot of different plates to try.

They still have patio seating, which is smaller but slightly better views. Service is always good, attentive, and helpful. We usually come for happy hour to take advantage of their large menu of montaditos. I think they're all pretty good but our favorites are the piquillo relleno--a small, whole stuffed red pepper with goat cheese, the classic pan con tomate, churrasco, and cordero estofado. I would say those are the most flavorful ones and on our regular rotation. They also have an almond cake we always order that is imported from Spain. Served warm and à la mode, it has a little crusty edge and a very moist, dense crumb. Not too sweet. Sometimes they serve it drizzled with chocolate and I prefer it without.

Back when they used to focus only on their food. Last visit, my Cuban sandwich was absolutely gross, the bread was rock hard, the pernil was super dry, and the cheese wasn't even melted. I let that one slide and chalked it up to the kitchen having a bad day. However, yesterday was even more horrendous experience. I've been Puerto Rican my entire life lol. Almost 50 years of existence. I have never in my life encountered a more soggy greasy and squishy Chicharron as I did yesterday. It was an absolute abomination. A disgrace to all of Latin heritage. The little bits of meat were rock hard and burnt to a crisp. What's supposed to be crispy skin, was completely soggy and soft. As if it had never been cooked at all. I have no idea how you could get the meat burnt to a crisp and the skin completely soggy on pork belly. I'm completely appalled the fact that it was even given to me. Whoever was in the kitchen should have known better than to serve that slop. It's an embarrassment to the establishment to even have put that into the window to be given to a customer. There's absolutely no way the person in the kitchen knows what they're doing with Latin food if that was served. It deeply saddened me to say I'll never go back to this place again. Not even for a beer. Seeing as how the prices have skyrocketed and the food quality has gone into the toilet I'll pass. Thank you.(pictures taken before the Chicharron was given to the dogs as a snack, because even bad food doesn't go to waste in my house)

It's the kind of place where you can relax with some excellent chow and a nice glass of vino. I previously wrote about their first Terroir Uncorked event, and a few weeks ago I returned for the second, celebrating Barcelona Wine Bar's 30th anniversary. Thirty wines were available to taste, paired with a wonderful selection of food. These events are a lot of fun, especially because they give you the opportunity to explore so many different wines from their list. Attendance is intentionally limited, creating a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. Both events sold out, so when the next one is announced... don't wait. Executive Chef Javier Narvaez and Executive Sous Chef Marc Beauplan prepared some terrific dishes throughout the evening. Highlights included a beautiful oversized Paella and an outstanding Salt-Crusted Salmon. Of course, I was equally happy grazing on the wonderful assortment of cheeses and Serrano ham earlier in the evening. I sampled around twenty of the thirty wines, and the staff at each tasting station did an excellent job explaining the wines and answering questions. My favorites of the evening: Whites Forjas del Salnés, Leirana Albariño Raúl Pérez, Ultreia Blanco Reds Bodegas Olarra, Añares Gran Reserva R. López de Heredia, Viña Tondonia Reserva Cresca Vincent Lauren Brown, their GM, and her entire team did a terrific job organizing the evening and making sure everyone was having a great time. Unfortunately, the Seafood Paella was a major disappointment. The paella was heavily sauced with tomato, the rice was undercooked and had more of a risotto-like texture, and the seafood was overcooked and dry. I still enjoy Barcelona and would return, but hopefully the paella was just an off night.
