I hired Lupo for 2 huge area rugs cleaning and cleaning 2 beds. Gino came to pick up the rugs after I talked to him about a quote. I told him we were moving and he said no problem he would deliver the cleaned rugs to the new address. So we moved. The team finished with the rugs. They delivered them to new address and cleaned the two beds. Nick and Nick Jr were nice, professional and respectful. After discussing whether we should clean the furniture outdoor or indoor, we decided best to do indoor since my beds are big. They laid tarp down, put corner guards around the house and cleaned up as they cleaned the beds. And Gino, the owner, was very responsive and friendly throughout the whole process. Really nice people and owner, but did not do a great job getting 5-6 pet stains out of a rug. Still very visible stains, getting charged $450. I expressed frustration at the result and response I got was this is just like laundry and some stains just can't be removed and "you're paying us to try". I don't think paying $450 for a professional to "try" is the right answer. Maybe some stains really are hard to get out , but all are clearly visible and this just feels like I got screwed. read more

I own an old 3x5 wool rug which has a cream border with decorative Asian motifs and a red center. Because it is of great sentimental value to me, I wanted it professionally cleaned, as the rug, especially the border, had picked up dirt over time (despite vigorous vacuuming). The cleaner that I initially hired offered to clean it in my living room, but when he was done, the rug looked dreadful and would have been better left alone. When I complained bitterly, the cleaner returned to re-do it a second time, but to no avail - the rug looked "patchy" all over and the border had several swaths of ash grey/black. In both instances, he didn't touch the fringes and left them as they were. I was upset but he kept insisting that the rug looked great. In desperation, I turned to Lupo Rug Care. If I could give 6 stars I would because they've earned my business for life. After many years of searching for a halfway decent carpet cleaning service my search is over. We went many years without cleaning maintenance after getting new carpets , too many to say the least, and the carpet pile was worn and very soiled. Stains galore and very heavy soiling from the traffic areas. Well this man knocked it outta the park and lifted about 98% of the stains, only a burn mark from a frayed extension cord last fall the burned into the carpet remained but that was to be expected. It was a tough job and took Gino and his Crew, Hector and Jesse about 4 hours from start to finish to get the job done. He even had to tow his truck mount van to my house because his transmission went out that morning. I recommended my mechanic to him and he accepted the offer. Word of advise, do not let your carpets go this long before cleaning them. It set me back $700.00 but the expense was worth every dime.
