I popped in on my lunch hour on a Tuesday to have a couple of my watch batteries replaced. Jose was helpful and efficient -- I only waited about 10-15 minutes to have both of them done. He graciously resized one of my watches for me too !! I can't speak for the jewelry aspect of the shop but it's a clean, nice, no-pressure environment which is not always the case at the jewelers'. I brought in a 14k gold plated silver ring for resizing. I'd been turned away by another jeweler because of the plating and the large 2.5 size difference, even though I already said I was okay with the silver showing through. My ring was a 7.5 and they sized it down to a 5 without any warping or altering of the shape. The blend between the gold and silver is beautiful, polished incredibly smooth with the weld barely being visible. This shop is pristine on the inside, the two men I interacted with were very straight forward and efficient, and the work is stunning. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured into any options, I was not asked if I wanted to buy a more expensive ring, I told them what I was there for, and they left it at that. The resize took a week, exact time frame they gave me, and was very reasonably priced. Could not recommend more. read more

Jose was amazing! We had been looking for ring resizing the same day, due to conflicting schedules, but no store in the Yolo county area would do the resizing. After driving around, from store to store, we came across Lu'Ro. It was mid-day on a Friday and we were feeling discouraged after being turned away from other stores. Jose was super helpful and offered to do it same day, no questions asked. Mind you, we were sizing down our ring AND it had an engraving, so this was no simple task. Not only did he do it same day, this brother did it in an hour and a half MAX. Went to the store in disbelief, and gave us a discount on the express resizing price. Had a great experience. Ring fit great and the engraving was untouched. That being said, we will come again for any future jewelry needs. read more

With my engagement photos coming up, I knew that I desperately needed to get my engagement ring cleaned in order for it to have maximum sparkle in my photos. Because it had been 6 months since I got engaged, the center diamond had accumulated a decent amount of muck just from every day use of lotion and oils, etc. I brought in my ring to Lu'Ro and barely had to wait any time at all before I was able to chat with the clerk behind the counter. He told me that they could absolutely clean it, but that I should probably run some other errands for an hour or so so that the solution could soak through the dirt on the diamond. I felt totally comfortable leaving it with them, and left for a little over an hour. When I came back, my ring was as sparkly (or even more sparkly) than it was the day I got it. I couldn't stop looking at it in the sunny and making it catch every possible light so I could watch it shine. They didn't end up charging me for the basic cleaning, but I know that when it's time for me to get it cleaned again or cleaned more in depth, I'll definitely be back! read more
