Made an appointment and they made me wait for 40 mins after my appointment. I made the apt with a diff person and got someone else which was fine but I made an appt. I shouldn't have had to wait. They made me wait without even putting water in the pedi bowl. I got a French manicure which I haven't gotten in years, the nail tech was nice but there was black specks in my nails days later that were unexplainable. I told the lady about one but she said it was in between the gel polish and my finger so I guess I was out of luck. read more

Long review short-- I would go back here because everyone was so friendly. Here are the details of our visit. Appointment-- I called at 930am to make an appointment for manicures at 12 and they got us in. I noticed other women who just walked in and got service. They were quite busy the whole time we were there. We did end up waiting for 15 minutes before being seen. Technicians-- I didn't catch anyone's names, unfortunately. My friend's technician was talking on her phone part of the time but she was still friendly and talked with us. My technician was very friendly and relaxed. I came in with a design and she asked around to see who could do it the best since she wasn't familiar with the design. So I had two different people work on my nails. Cleanliness/Decor-- this is a very standard nail salon. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done. We only got manicures so I can't comment on the cleanliness of the pedicure bowls and such. But they did use pre-packaged utensils. The physical station itself did not look the cleanest and the overall place did not look sanitary. I'm sure it was clean but it was very disorganized and messy which equates to dirty to me. Also, technicians would go from client to client, I didn't notice them sanitizing their hands. They definitely could have, I wasn't watching them closely but I didn't obviously notice it. Customer service-- Like I said, I came in with a design and they made sure they did all they could to get what I wanted. I thanked her for trying so hard and that some places simply don't do designs and she was like, "We do it all here. We love it when people bring in pictures." So it put me at ease that I wasn't being too picky. I noticed that they have a lot of regulars and I can see why. Value/Price-- I was very pleased with the price. It was $35 to do my galaxy design. Some places charge extra for a design PER NAIL! But that wasn't the case here. They also gave me a rewards card for when I come back. Why I didn't rate higher-- We had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seen and I made an appointment. It wasn't the most relaxing environment-- quite noisy. But if you're looking for some place to get your nails done and be in and out and not be pampered... then this place meets that criteria. Summary-- if you want a decently priced manicure where the technicians are friendly and willing to do what you ask but don't mind waiting or not being pampered like a princess then this is your spot. This place is great, but be sure to try making an appointment. I was a walk in and had to wait a long time. Without really knowing what was going on or being informed about anything. But they are definitely worth the wait and making the appointment next time. Their prices are totally competitive! And they're really good at what they do. No wonder they are busy. My technician was so polite and the end pedicure results exactly what I wanted. Low key and natural. His name was Raymone. I also was upsold on an eyebrow wax. But that was disappointing. The room smelled strongly of chemicals, the floor was really grubby. The waxing wasn't anything meticulous or detailed. No magnifying glass or light. No soothing oil or anything. Wham bam done two pulls, and it was over. I will definitely not be having my eyebrows waxed there again. But definitely without hesitation THESE guys do nails like there's no tomorrow! Worst Experience EVER! Went in for a Mani/Pedi and it took FOUR HOURS with an appointment! The old lady there was the worst ever... she cut me multiple times! Instead of using cuticle clippers, she used the square file sponge to FILE THEM OFF.. causing bleeding and sores! She cant paint Gel so had to wait for someone else to slap that on... I went in with my own natural nails and she effed them up so bad I had to have 7 tips put on to accommodate the issues so I had them put all 10 on instead to keep it uniform. You could see the indents from where the acrylic was not put on correctly/evenly and then the paint job was less then "good". I was horrified when they told me my bill was almost $100.00.. They charged me for a pedicure, which I only got half of because of the bleeding.. they charged me for a manicure which i had to have her stop in the middle of because of the bleeding and soreness around fingers and then they charged me for a full set of nails on top of that.... I am a LOCAL and went on a recommendation of a friend who has been a few times.. and also had issued with some of her Pedicures with "grating till she bleeds" and bubbles in her nail polish they wont fix. I would NEVER recommend this to anyone nor will I ever go back to even give them a second chance.. even if it was FREE which they never offered me a discount for any of their screw ups! Went here with a group of four girls to get spa mani pedis. We made an appt beforehand to make sure they knew we were coming but it didn't matter too much. We had to wait a little for the spa chair to open up but we weren't in too much of a rush. The whole experience took about two hours which is a little long but we were having fun so no complaints. Couldn't be happier. Down from NYC and needed a reasonably priced, good quality pedicure while on vacation. Yelp to the rescue. They run a $20 special on Monday-Wednesday. Lots of OPI colors to choose from and everyone is incredibly personable and just in a great mood. Good energy and by the looks of things, a solid following of regulars. Only gripe is I couldn't take Elaine back with me to Brooklyn! She was so thorough and detailed oriented with a great personality to help pass the time. Great place to get a pedicure! I found it on Yelp and checked it out with my mom. It was easy to find next to a few boutique stores. Walking in, a wave of nailpolish and polish remover hits you (it is unpleasant but you get used to it). You are instantly greeted and if open, asked to sit down at a massage chair/ pedi seat. The basins are made of a pretty glass and the chairs massage you all the time. After a hot soak, they apply creams and massage and then start the cleaning process. The massage was actually excellent and lasted whole minutes. They also use a base coat before your polish. They have a TV set on music videos too. You do have to flag down your manicurist after your nails have dried but it's not annoying. Very happy with the service! read more

Would not recommend this nail salon to anyone. We called and no one answered. We called several more times and finally left a message to please call us back so we could make an appt. No one ever called back. Since they advertise 'walk-ins', we drove the 12 miles to the salon only to be told that they had no openings, but that they could see us the next day. Made the appointment for the next day and rushed around to get there on time (we were told it was the last appt of the day that they would take so we did not want to be late). When we got there we were told that they were sorry but the guy had to leave early... would we like to make another appointment. They did not have anyone else available because they were short of staff. Why didn't they call us? So 48 miles of driving for nothing later... still needing an appointment someplace that is actually wanting to have customers. Seriously unprofessional. This appt was for my 86 yr old mother who needed to have her feet attended to... and so this was extremely disappointing as well as an completely unacceptable manner to run a service business. I have honestly never been more disappointed in a nail salon. My friend and I had made an appointment for two manicures and pedicures. The older woman who did mine seemed annoyed the entire time, was very irritable towards me, and extremely rough. I left there with four of my cuticles bleeding on my hands alone. They did not have ANY of the colors they were offering from their rings with the color choices. We went through 6 or 7 before I finally said just put whatever on. Hands down the WORST nail experience at a nail salon ever. First nobody is wearing mask including multiple workers.(Even though there is a sign that say it is required) when I asked my nail tech if it was required he told me "no it's no real thing, it's fake". The. When I requested he wear one while doing my set( because there was also no Plexi divider and not at my table) he got upset and stared making a Commotion to all the workers. Not only did my nails come out TERRIBLY! I had to ask him multiple time to fix paint on the side, falling stones and my nail shape. After I was in the chair for almost two hours (for just a fill) I had acrylic stuck under my nails and skin and each nail was a different square shape. I asked a different worker to help get the dried acrylic from under my nails and the guy who did my nails( who is also the owner) came in screaming saying "nobody do her she's complaining the whole time, and she asked why nobody wearing mask." Literally SCREAMING. The owner of the establishment. Acted this way because I didn't like the crappy work he did on my nails which I still had to pay 80 dollars for. The owners daughter tried to chime in and say "don't talk to her like that" and was quickly shut down and told to be quiet. I will be calling the city to report there nonexistent mask policy. 1000% no not recommended. What kind of owner makes a scene because his work is in adequate? This one so don't go. I was a walk in and this was my first time here. I was in a hurry but no worries since he sat me right down and got to it. I actually get my hair done across the street but never considered this place until today. Thanks to Yelp,I didn't have to put much thought into it and everything worked out gr8! The place was pretty busy for a Monday and all the stuff was super friendly. Ok so yeah I only had my thumb nails changed to a sparkling dark blue color but Teo(correction) was fantastic and free lol. He ended up not charging me for the removal of my black gel and then reapplying the new gel. Of course I still tipped because I'm not an animal and he's really good at what he does. He had great technique and was very clean with his application. Not to mention he knew how to carry on a good conversation lol. Sometimes I just need to be worked on silently lol but I will never turn away good conversation. The place itself is small but well equipped to get people in/out. It is however below average in terms of decor.Nothing fancy but they seem to have a strong following here in town from what I have learned so far. I know I can't speak for much besides my minimal time there but the overall feel of the place was positive. I'll def be going back to really give them a good test. I'm a long distance runner and have been since I was 8yrs old so my Flintstone Feet will break ya if you're weak or lazy for that matter lol. I hope you go and ENJOY yourselves like I did! I tried Luscious Nails the first time because I had a coupon. I was glad I tried them as they were great. I had a manicure and a pedicure and was very happy with both. My manicure lasted two weeks and pedicure is still looking good. They dry nails a little differently and when you leave you do not have to worry about smudging nails or being careful. This is the best place in the area to get a fantastic pedicure and very realistic gel nails. They both last a good two weeks. Also they use a fresh set of tools for each client (I believe they clean them, have them sanitized, and repackaged). The only reason I do not give them 5 stars is because it is not very relaxing. Visiting from Lakeland and decided to stop in for a pedicure. The reviews didn't lead me wrong! What a great deal for the price. For an extra $3, so $25 total for the pedicure, you can get an orange scrub that smells amazing and feels just as good as well as a paraffin wax. My toes have never been so cared for! They looked and felt fantastic after he was done. The orange scrub was so worth it, I loved how intense the scrub was but can see someone with sensitive skin feeling as if it was too much to handle. I liked the employees, they are friendly and conversational. It isn't your typical nail salon. The prices were reasonable. The wall color and inside could use some attention (crazy colors, not super clean baseboards etc.) but the tools were sterilized and they took their time. I would definitely give this place a try. An appointment is key (especially on a Saturday). Honestly, its worth it for the employees. Unbeknownst to me you have to ask for a manicure and shellac. I had gone in and said that I wanted shellac with nail design. They were about to start painting when I mentioned my cuticle and they shared with me that is an additional procedure and cost.
