This place is the BOMB. Nancy is super sweet and all of the employees are super accommodating. The ambiance and vibe is so chill, you end up falling asleep. I always go there for my pedicure and manicure and every time that I do go, it's an amazing experience and I do not mind paying whatever I need to pay. The quality of the pedicures are superb and the best of it all is that they aren't rushed whatsoever. A lot of the times you go to certain places to get your nails done and they seem to want to rush you out, but I have never felt this way here. I usually get a manicure and pedicure that comes out to be around $70. Sometimes it may go up to $90 if I decide to do something extra extravagant like designs. But I do not mind paying $70 for a beautiful mani and pedi with great vibes. I end up falling asleep each time so it's like so perfect! read more

First, I pointed out which pedicure I wanted which was 40.00. The process was different and the when the second coat of polish was applied, I could see a white coating underneath. When I inquired about that, I was told it was a gel polish. I never asked for gel, have never put gel on my nails. After speaking to the manager, that issue was resolved. (I was not charged for gel). Well, since I was going to a party, I needed my nails done also and asked for the same color, lo and behold, they sent over the gel polish stuff again. Same people mind you!! Anyway, I just thought forget it, you need this done and you are running out of time, so, I didnt say anything and got the gel on my acrylic nails. Since I didnt know the process, I just watched. It was an amateur job that left me with having to get a manicure also because she kept running the drill over my cuticles incorrectly. I'm VERY UNHAPPY even though prior to these new issues I was absolutely loving my regular girl that I had at Zen Nails because in all of Port Orange she actually did more than 30 seconds of pampering during my pedicure. Unfortunately, during my last pedicure, I noticed that she was using tools from a pre-opened autoclave bag (a machine that uses steam under high pressure and heat to sterilize tools). I asked her if her tools were sanitized prior to using them on me. She assured me she did. Sadly, a few days later, I developed two nasty infections on my right hand thumb nail and right middle finger. I also developed a fungus under my thumb nail. I'll be treating that for awhile. But I won't be going to Zen Nails again. Back to my search for a good nail salon that also includes a good foot and leg massage is more than 30 seconds long. read more

They did an okay job on my nails but they were not friendly at all. The lady doing my nails never even looked at me. I wanted to get my nails painted, yes I'm a guy. However when I told them I wanted them colored they just laughed. When I said no really I want them colored the guy laughed again and said "do you want them red"... I said no blue. I normally show them pictures or describe what i want done with my acrylics and they are always on point! i get Coffen shape with gel, long length and designs and it's no more than 45$ or 30$ for fill with gel. Ever since they suggested i try Gel i haven't went back to regular polish! they have re modeled the place and it looks so nice inside and is very clean. 5 stars for my friends!!!! read more

I am not one for writing reviews, but I would be doing a disservice to other customers considering having their nails done at Zen. This is by far one of the worst customer service experience I've ever received. The gentleman I had, his name is Long, was absolutely rude, very abrupt, and he did a very rushed job on my nails. Rather than politely telling you what he needed you to do next, he was constantly making snappy hand gestures when he needed you to give him your other hand. Towards the end he snapped at me when I didn't understand what he was trying to tell me when he wanted me to rinse my hands off at the sink. Also, he was very rough when filing my nails and it actually hurt a few times, and made me pull away from him when it got too sensitive. He also kept using his own nail to clean off the access polish from the sides of my nail and the underneath; never have I been to a nail salon where they don't use an instrument to clean your nail off. Needless to say, I couldn't wait to get out of there and my nails don't look as good as I've seen them when I get them done elsewhere. They look so so.... But again, he did a rushed job. I'm in Florida visiting and just wanted to get my nails done before I head home to Maine tomorrow.... But, when I come back to visit I will not be coming back to this nail salon ever again. I went to this location based on some good reviews, and perhaps the women that work here are nicer, but the man that attended to me today (Long) was so rude and his quality of work was very poor. I wish I could leave a stellar review ( I literally just left the salon), but I am so disappointed with the customer experience I received today. I finally found a place I love and I don't live nearby anymore. They're very good at what they do and my nails look and feel great. I was 45 minutes late and they were still able to take me right away. They're not very personable, but that was probably mostly my fault. I have been here several times before and it was great. Today I went and got a girl I had never seen before. I have been getting my nails done and getting pedicures for years, and this was by far my worst experience. The woman kept pushing and pulling my legs and feet during the pedicure, and then telling me to relax. How is one supposed to relax when some one is treating them this way? She could tell by the end that I was annoyed, which must have upset her. I went and sat in the chair to get my eyebrows waxed and she snatched the chair back so quick, it scared me to death. Who does that? It was so unprofessional and she was just rude. She proceeded to tell me that my eyebrows had no arch and I should get eyebrow tattoos like her. I was at a loss for words. this used to be my go to nail place since i was like 13 and everyone was always so nice to me, my mom, and my gramma. but after my most recent visit, today august 22nd of 2022 around 6:40- 7:30 pm i was going to get a pedicure with my friend savannah, and i was waiting for ab 20-30 minutes in the chair before anyone got started on me because the guy with the blue shoes went to my friend first and i was like whatever not a big deal. eventually my friend asks him to bring us a Coke or something to drink, he hands my friend a regular Pepsi and gives me a fucking Pepsi zero sugar .... ( keep in mind im fat, my friend is skinny ) ..... so i get upset but try to give him the benefit of the doubt thinking that maybe it was his last Pepsi or some thing. But then I took my friends Pepsi and gave her my nasty dirty Pepsi and then he comes back with another regular Pepsi for her.... i am FUMING at this point but i wasn't going to cause a scene and start shit especially since they were about to close. but good luck you've lost a loyal customer and karma will get u bitch. This is the worst set of nails I've ever paid for. I went in for a fill and 2 fixes. I got regular polish, and was asked to get gel with a discount. There was no discount she offered full price and said it was a discount. Before my polish I pointed out that there were a couple gashes in my nails. The tech says that it's ok it doesn't matter. Then she's painting and does a sloppy job. My nails are all uneven, lumpy, she didn't even shape the nails, and one is completely crooked. I even tipped ahead to be sure I got good service. I'm visiting from California and my grandma and I went to get manicures and pedicures done at this salon off of a suggestion from a family friend. I'm giving 3 stars because of Nancy, the woman who did my pedicure. She was amazing because she listened to when I said the water was too hot and when my feet tickled. If it wasn't for Nancy, my review would be 1 star because of Nick, the guy who did my manicure. While i was getting my feet worked on I asked for a full set, but Nick didn't seem to get the memo because he started working on a back-fill instead. The first thing he said to me when he started working on my nails wasn't a greeting, it was "don't say anything if it hurts". I was taken aback by that comment, but thought nothing of it at first. I mentioned my concern with how my natural nails tend to peel from the acrylic nail and he said he'd fix it. Well, he lied. Not only did he mess up my gel nail polish on one finger on each hand, and he only redid one of them, but he also rushed to finish my nails for the next customer, telling me to wipe my own nails off before putting oil on them, even though one hand had oil on it already, then to go wash my hands then return and finish up with wiping my nails again. And now, not even a week later, my nails are starting to peel under the acrylic. I have never been more dissatisfied with service, even though the last time I got my nails done back home, the lady injured my finger. read more

I came here for the first time 2 weeks ago. I needed my acrylics removed, instead of soaking them off like they should have done they ripped them off (ripping layers and layers of my nail bed off as well). The same day I had my nails done I got my pinky nail caught and instead of losing an acrylic I lost my entire nail bed!! I am a licensed nail tech Myself and I totally knew better!! NEVER GET ANYTHING RIPPED OFF YOUR NAILS!! ALWAYS SOAK OFF!! now I came back to tell them what had happened. It took TWO HOURS to do a simple gel fill. They blamed the products not drying properly like somehow that's my problem. 45 minutes to an hour is all it should take to get this accomplished. Several of my nails were so gloppy, it was ME that had to ask them to redo. It's like can you not feel for yourself and see they weren't right? Please have some pride in your craft especially when you have a competitor one strip mall over. I'm not the kind of person who actively searches out to complain but I was very disappointed and signed up for Yelp with the goal of sharing this experience. What should have been a nice way to pamper myself turned into me wasting both time and money. I'd never go back there in a million years. I had my nails done there. Filling gel Polish and regular Polish for my toes. I paid $25.00 . I went back two weeks after just to repolish no filling. The price is the same. However the money isn't all that the issue I was just surprised that I did less and the price is still the same. I tried to ask the nail tech why I do less and the price is still the same. He yelled at me and he was rude. I think a mistake was made at some point ,but yelling at customers is unacceptable. I couldn't even make my point either because he doesn't even speak good english.
