I went to our local Lush at the Temecula Mall to stock up on my favorite scent. My kids got me a very elaborate Lush gift box for Christmas and I had run out of the soap so I thought I would treat myself having a 20% coupon card that was tucked inside the gift box. After purchasing my favorite scented soap and matching melts, I noticed on the receipt I was only given 10% off. I just thought it was a simple mistake, so I headed back to the cashier to inquire. She then proceeded to pull a large postcard sized 10% off card out of the trash can behind the register. I explained that wasn't the coupon I gave her, mine was the size of a business card and said 20%. Her and the manager proceeded to tell me that Lush doesn't have 20% off coupons. I explained I had been holding onto this coupon since December and had read it yet again before I left for their store to make certain it hadn't expired and to figure out how much I could buy with what I'd be saving. I don't buy from this store for myself, only as gifts for special occasions and this was a treat for myself as Lush products are expensive. I called the customer service line and they too stated Lush does not have 20% discount coupons. Now I feel like I have to figure out what's going on since I distinctly remember reading that this card and it said "20% off stock up!" Feeling gaslit, I reach out to a customer support supervisor who also says there is no such thing as a 20% off coupon for Lush products. I know what I had, I know what I read. I'm wondering if there are any customers of Lush who've had the same experience or that can confirm they have received and used a 20% discount card that was packed inside their Christmas gift box? I wish I could have zero stars as a choice, as I believe this company is doing a bait and switch tactic with their coupons. read more

I've spent over 600$ in the last two months on LUSH products, 180$ this trip. I wanted a sample of two products to SEE WHICH ONE worked for me to buy a day or two later. This is the sample they gave me. Are you kidding me? That's not enough to work or come to ANY conclusion about this product and the cheapness with someone who spends a couple hundred MINIMUM every few weeks, I find utterly ridiculous. Needless to say, I was turned off and that will be my last visit. I will also be going ahead and returning the 300-400$ worth of products I had bought quite recently. The employees here are the best every single time, each time I walk in, I expect it to be a fluke, but their customer service is stellar and they seriously spark joy in your day. They are beyond friendly, helpful and knowledgeable on all their products. Staff is friendly, but they CONSTANTLY interrupt your shopping to try and push some product onto you. I get they're trying to make sales but the store isn't that big and I had 3 different staff members come up to bother me multiple times in less than 15 minutes. People are more likely to make purchases if they're given space to breathe and try products, especially if they're already customers who are well educated in your products. If a customer seems like they don't know much about Lush or they need help then that's a different story! But please let the regulars relax. read more

Been here countless times and have spent hundreds of dollars on products. Used to love coming to lush but now I refuse to shop here. I have had two incidents now with this one woman who works here. She is a middle aged hispanic with dark hair and always seems to wears all black with no name tag. She is extremely rude and unpleasant, I believe she's the manager at this location. First incident, my sister and I were testing a product that was on the tester shelf. Someone prior must've misplaced it as it wasn't the tester but we didn't know that, she came over hastily and told us with this smutty face we aren't allowed to use the products and that there are testers for a reason. We sincerely apologized and said that someone prior must've misplaced it and that it was a misunderstanding, she interrupted and said that it's right in front of our faces if we would just read (it was actually on another shelf). Anyways, my sister and I ended up buying the product we used. Second incident, I was looking at a product and instead of coming up with a simple hello how can I help you, she startles me and assumed I'm messing with their products even though I was just looking at them. I didn't feel like dealing with it so I ended up putting my stuff back and leaving. Needless to say I will not be returning back here and instead will buy my products elsewhere. IN REFERENCE TO THE MANAGER JAMES. just left the Temecula location with my three girls. Where I have spent hundreds of dollars on product. I will no longer be shopping this location. I have 3 girls and normally staff is Amazing. A man claiming to be the manager approached me while redirecting my youngest from touching product to tell me I need to watch her. I can tell you she didn't harm anything. There are no signs posted stating kids must be in strollers and I had my eyes glued to her prior to him speaking. He told me if I want to have her down, I need to leave. I told him I am watching her. And he continued to argue to then cause my eyes to be off her. He was rude and we left. I have NEVER seen this man in the times I have visited A mom venturing out with kids to a mall (forgot our stroller at home) and left empty handed because of him. read more

It's so expensive but the service is chef's kiss and the products are top notch. I got the Super Milk for my hair and it is working really well. I had a great experience at this Lush, I had received a box of bath bombs as a gift and it is too harsh for my allergies so I went in to see if I could somehow get my money back without the receipt. However all they could do was store credit which seemed like a negative due to all of the strong scented things but Chris was a huge help! He brought me around to lots of different lotions and body scrubs that had a nice mild smell and were so great! Came here with the intention to buy my favorite bath bombs, & I was so excited to have a Lush close by! However, the male employee working tonight was incredibly rude & insensitive. So, I ended up walking out within a second of being there. As I came in he said in front of everyone across the store "hi guys, please sanitize first." I was a bit confused so I just stood there. So, he yelled at me:"hi, please sanitize first!!!!" I then noticed the hand sanitizer pump on a table and it clicked that's what he must have been referring to. I just started to walk out because I felt really uncomfortable from him yelling in front of everyone. & I could tell he was mad bc he thought I was ignoring him. I personally do not use hand sanitizer bc it's bad for my hands so I decided to leave. But then in a sarcastic tone he yells:"hope you have a wonderful night !!" As if I'm being difficult bc I decided to simply leave. I just said:"hope you have a better one." Then he said back:"ohhh I will! It's been great already." Honestly really bizarre aggressive behavior bc he thought I wasn't listening. There's no sign to sanitize when walking in, there are MANY people hard of hearing, that need visual cues. Also, If someone had never been to lush and didn't understand that nothing is boxed they'd question the sanitizing of hands. Try having an automatic sanitizer available. Offer people to simply wash their hands instead with soap & water, because not everyone can use hand sanitizer. The employee needs to check if people are wearing gloves, how would you have noticed if you're yelling at me from across the store? All solutions. read more
