Great store, from home items like pillows, candles, etc., some great earrings, bracelets, rings, etc., a little pricey but very nice.

New name is "Citrus and Moss" under new ownership. Frankly, most reviews here are outdated, and there needs to be a fresh Yelp page dedicated to the new owner This was my first time in the area. I went to the Starbucks next door to study. The door of Citrus and Moss was wide open, and I couldn't help but feel an inviting and warm energy pulling me in. Hmm hard to describe. It felt like home away from home, and I had to walk in. Mind you, I'm a 27 year-old dude who has no business in being in a cute, rustic boutique shop thingy, but I guess my wife's interests have rubbed off on me over the years. I gravitated towards the awesome smelling candles all the way in the back. I don't know if these candles are poured in-house (homemade) or if they're sourced from elsewhere, but they're not your average scented candles. You know what I'm talking about....those HomeGoods candles that you thought were top-notch? Nope, these are different. I had a hard time picking one I liked, so I bought two! Fast forward to when I picked up my wife from her hospital shift: she immediately took notice of the "sweet and yummy" aroma in the car. The lids were closed, and jars were tightly wrapped in paper. Yet, they unleashed a very subtle yet potent aroma that just makes you feel....happy. You pay roughly twice as much as you would at a brick and mortar store, but this family-run shop knows how to differentiate itself with amazingly good products and extra friendly service. I would much rather spend my money here than elsewhere. We'll burn through these candles quick, and I promise we'll be back!

Well, I can assure you I am no farmers wife! Even though my husband thinks he's good at everything I don't think he's a farmer. Oh, and there is a cute emoticon for that but no way to place it in this review! Now, imagine a PINK John Deere tractor (they really do exist (electric cars for kids)! If you like this kind of thing, then this shop is for you! One does not need to be a farmer, just think like one with a little panache! Pick up a gift card for your gal pal, an aromatherapy bracelet to relax or invigorate, a gift item for the bride that just got hitched, a picnic basket for a summer picnic or a blanket to snuggle with your so-called farmer! The Farmers Wife is a lovely shop to wander and find something special to gift or to keep. Just remember - just because he calls himself a farmer doesn't mean it's so and if he's a farmer who likes to purchase gifts for his wife. This is a place to find a thoughtful and personal item. #OldTownTemecula #TheFarmersWife #ShopLocal #iWantAPinkJohnDeere

The Farmer's Wife is a fun and eclectic store located in Old Town Temecula. We arrived early one morning on our short vacation here after Christmas. Parking was readily available at ten-thirty am and most stores were just opening. We stopped at Starbucks and then wandered into here. Great find! Prices were very reasonable for all their offerings, women's clothing, household items, knickknacks, jewelry, soaps of all kinds, see photos. Expect to pay around $40 and up. We'll be back. Nice!

An absolute gem of a boutique!! All staff were very friendly and helpful. This boutique is packed full of a wonderfully vast selection of items. There is no doubt you can find that must-have gift!! The prices are very reasonable, which is always inviting!! We will be visiting Citrus and Moss again!!

Complimentary beautifully themed Christmas wrap! :)

Pros: - The store is charmingly decorated and definitely fits in Old Town Temecula - The merchandise is consistent with the theme of the store; however, it has seemed lately, to be emphasizing more clothing and jewelry rather than decorative items - Prices are competitive and range from inexpensive to more expensive - When asked, the salesperson gladly wrapped our Christmas gifts adding elegant touches such as Christmas tissue and a jingle bell (see photo) Cons: - A bit too much merchandise which makes it difficult to browse with other customers in the store - An over-emphasis on Brighton merchandise (which can be found in the mall) - Although another reviewer believes the salesperson followed them around because of their race, my wife and I have frequented this store and are ALWAYS closely watched and followed (and we are caucasian); I believe this NOT due to racism but the fact there's so much merchandise and the salespeople are overly cautious

    Beautiful Brighton heart earrings.

They have such nice things. They also have Brighton jewelry and shoes. They used to be The Farmers Wife but now it's under a new name Citrus and Moss, they still carry great stuff and still very friendly! I got these there.

I love this little gift store in the heart of Old Town. So many unique one of a kind items to choose from. Lots of little knock knacks for your home.

The best description I can come up with is Dollar Tree, Big Lots, and Temu had a baby... but it inherited Michael's pricing (without a coupon or discount). Looking for a pillow? Excellent news. They have approximately one million of them -- just none that are quite what you're looking for. It's almost impressive. Need an umbrella? You're in luck! They have a BOGO deal: buy one, get that one... for the price of two. A bold pricing strategy. The upside is if you need help, the cashiers are easy to find since they aren't busy.

A few days ago, they had several mid-century style pieces of furniture that were new. Seems like most of the furniture are manufacturer closeouts, or dent and scratches, This Habitat ReStore amazes me, because it is in a nice modern industrial building, which I have never seen Habitat occupy. The others I have been to , are in the oldest most run down buildings in low rent areas. However, as nice as this building is, you look way up at the ceiling, there is no AC or other cooling system. It was over 100 degrees when I bought this chair, outside temp. They leave the front door open for the breeze but you feel all the hot air, that is hotter than the temp inside the building. The employee at the cash register, near the open door where all the hot air was coming in, said "Yep, no AC". But if you didn't have air circulating, even hot air, it would be a greater hotter oven. They have a separate room, where they sell small stuff, not even related to building or home stuff, like bike helmets. The thing about this store, the things they sell here are newer, and not used and sometimes broken and chipped, like the other Habitat ReStores have. The donations come from manufacturers or commercial businesses rather than individual donors that are remodeling their homes, or got a new piece.
