Moreover, I have been patronizing Lush's Retail Stores located in Los Angeles, the O.C., San Francisco/SF Bay Area, and Europe/UK for a few decades. My favorite products I habitually purchase are Lush's bath bombs, body scrub/soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and also, the massage lotion bars which are ALL TSA friendly, too, i.e., I never worry about Lush's products making a liquid mess ruining my possessions inside my backpack or luggage--ever! read more

During my visit this week an employee (I am unsure of her name) followed my partner and me very closely throughout the store without offering assistance or asking if we needed help. Her behavior felt more like surveillance / profiling than customer service, and her overall demeanor came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming. The employee had bright pink hair with glasses and is bigger set / Caucasian. This is the nearest location so this is a huge let down. I'll have to go all the way to Galleria now, they have great customer service and haven't ever had this experience. read more

Jojo was amazing! I convinced my boyfriend to go in because I wanted a fresh face mask. Jojo assisted us and I described the one I was looking for which was cosmetic warrior and she knew it was being reformulated. I left with mask of magnanimity and she offered us if we wanted any samples and gave my boyfriend a sea vegetable soap. So thoughtful, extremely knowledgeable and attentive without being invasive! Would definitely go back to see Jojo! And hopefully my boyfriend will now love lush as much as I do! read more

This is my first time to visit this store. And my job was simple. Go to the Orange Curbside Parking Spot Sign in the row directly in front of Seasons 52 Restaurant and call the phone number given. PERFECTLY EASY, right? NO. I called and spoke to this awesomely friendly person by the name of Corinne. She told me that she was alone in the store and was unable to leave the store to deliver the item to the spot. And she told me that they aren't even supposed to do curbside anymore. But it still showed on the website and it couldn't be removed. She said I could either wait for 30 minutes, until 10:30 when the next team member got there and she would bring it out to me, OR I could walk in the store and pick it up. So she gave me directions to get to the store in the mall and I was on my way! I walked in the store and received an awesome greeting, and she apologized for having me come in and thanked me for walking. The first thing I noticed about the store, well you notice it before you walk in - is the cornucopia of smells. And the Music. The music helps to create and support a very electrically charged environment! And the enormous amount of different products all over the place. Corinne told me that LUSH is everything to take care of your body. And they have it. Soaps, shampoos, oils, conditioners, jellies, lotions, bath bombs, etc, etc. They are all brightly packaged, and wrapped. So Corinne helped me at the counter and got my order put in a bag and it was brightly gift wrapped. We chatted for a bit about the confusion around curbside or not. And I was just as happy going in. MAINLY because now I know THE PLACE to get this kind of thing if I want to buy some for my wife or others. When she handed me the bag, she mentioned that she put a couple of extras in the bag as a token of appreciation for my "trouble". There were two wrapped in paper samples of soap. Both were good sized samples - one was called, "Honey I Washed the Kids Soap," this was described as, "This creamy caramel-esque soap makes bathtime a sweeter experience for the whole family. Packed with the hidden goodness of British honey and aloe vera that leaves skin feeling soothed and soft." and the other was, "Alban Hefin Summer Solstice Soap." I looked up the name on the LUSH Sight and this is the description for the Alban Hefin, "This sweet soap is handmade fresh with the gifts of high summer to connect you with the power of the sun, ancient wisdom of the Druids and the punk rock rebellion against the fading light." So Corinne then threw a few more smaller samples. We spoke about my beard and she put Kalamazoo Beard and Facial Wash and Some Power Conditioner in the bag. And next Pink Peppermint Foot Lotion and Mask of Magnaminty. Oh - and just as I was leaving, the next team member arrived. LUSH was truly a great experience. I will definitely come back read more

AMAZING STAFF! Every time I visit Lush I'm always greeted warmly and offered help. Management is doing an amazing job and I hope the staff is appreciated as much as they deserve. I recently visited to look around for Mother's Day gifts. They had a display right in front, showing off their Mothers Day collection. I ended up leaving with 3 bath bombs, 2 of them being Mothers Day specials. They also always make sure to leave me with a few samples to try their other products. I always look forward to using those! The store is always clean, smelling delicious, and easy to navigate. And if I'm ever having trouble finding anything, the staff is always super helpful. The only downside is the only location in Sacramento is in the Arden Fair Mall, and I'm not a fan of this mall. Although, it's worth it for this Lush! read more

I've never been much for handmade products, generally I go to a local department store and buy a jug of the cheapest product I can find for my cleaning needs. However, my wife and kids swear by these products and Lush in general, that they have slowly turned me around. The store is located in the Arden but I've always enjoyed my experiences there. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly and we've always had good interactions. They have limited the number of customers indoors but I haven't had to deal with long waits and there is always an attentive employee near by. I've heard lot about their products and their commitment to the environment and no animal testing. Also all their products use vegetarian recipes. They are a bit on the pricey side but definitely worth a try! read more

Now this is how to do customer service! A few days ago, a girlfriend of mine had gone into LUSH and came back with a sample of Sleepy lotion which she gifted to me. Of course, I loved it so much- I had to head over there immediately to purchase a full size. Tiana was attentive, helped me find the product I was looking for and even gave me two samples of another lotion I was considering. She was super kind and the store was inviting. Ordered a pickup from this place. Per their website, they still do curbside. When I called to let the associate know I was outside parked, she informed me they don't do curbside anymore. I couldn't go in so I was angry about this at first, but the manager I spoke with was super sweet and explained why in such a calm, friendly tone. I am a district manager for retail, so I 100% understand policies change etc. The manager made this experience even better with her professionalism and her being super apologetic. I finally came to store later that day, and to my surprise the manager who I spoke with was still there. She apologized again and even gave me some goodies for me and the kiddo! This place is absolutely popping! Has to be my favorite store just based on the environment. There is always music blasting which brings the store to life. Then, you have the most energetic employees in the freaking world. I mean are they all shelling the soap a bit too often?! Lol. PRODUCTS: Fresh and handmade are 2 of my all time favorite words and lush had both. I purchased this face mask that literally had to be refrigerated. The smell if the products beats any others I've smelled and the colors if the soaps are so fun and vibrant. EXPERIENCE: Every time I walk through the door I'm greeted as if I was missed dearly. Every employee is so happy to be there. It's almost too happy. Like, no one should live their job that much, but they do. Whoever managed Lush needs to whip some of their neighboring stores in shape. Yay Lush! I love Lush and can't help but stop in to every location I walk by. This location is no different. Lush has a bunch of different products that serve all kinds of needs. My favorites include the bath bombs (Dragon's Egg and Ickle Baby Bot) and the massage bars (Each Peach and Therapy). The bath bombs are usually located in the middle of the store, and are typically the first thing you see. Throughout the day, an employee will announce that they will be doing a bath bomb demonstration, so you can see how a bath bomb fizzles and dissolves into a big bowl of water. You're also welcome to feel the water afterwards, to feel how soft and silky it gets. The massage bars are located off to the left side of the store or sometimes towards the back. They melt with your body heat and moisturize and soften your skin, making you smell wonderful while doing so. Depending on the season, there are some products that come and go, so be sure to look out for those! The employees are really helpful and knowledgeable here, and will take the time to explain the different effects and benefits of each product. They're also super friendly people just to have casual conversations with while you're walking around the store. Fair warning: you'll probably end up spending more than you anticipated, but that's not because the products are super expensive or wildly marketed - it's simply because you can't help but want to treat yourself... and your friends... and your mom. I came to purchase the oaty creamy dreamy shower cream and was disappointed with the product overall. It didn't help moisturize my skin and soothe it, instead it felt like the residue made my skin feel icky and dry. The dream cream lotion was much better than this so I would not repurchase it again after it was $30 out of my pocket. I would just stick to the dream cream for moisturizing my dry skin. read more

I am 100% impressed with the staff in this location!!! This was my 1st time in a Lush store and I will now be a life long customer. From the SECOND I walked into this store, I was made to feel as if I was truly welcome. Adolfo greeted me, with genuine appreciation for coming in, he was in the middle of helping another customer. Once he was finished with this customer, he quickly came to my side and assisted me with what I was looking for. He then politely informed me it was his lunchtime and introduced me to Sergio. He repeated why I was in, what he had suggested and what i still needed. Sergio was amazing, great conversationalist and great customer service representative. Everyone is almost greeting you as soon as you step in and they'll try to help you as much as you can--free samples of nearly everything, demonstrations of the pricier bath products, and so much more if you just ask and talk. What I've been loving about Lush is their commitment to helping causes of many different issues. I remember their "End Shark Finning" campaign that made me buy many bars of soap because I knew it was going to a good cause. Their most recent efforts are going towards the lives, rights, and representation of trans persons, which is a great cause to help. This helpful attitude Lush provides with their many charities and fund-raising products always gives me hope for helping others. This location always has good customer service. I have never came in once where the employees look like they hate their job or don't want to be there. Someone is always on hand or will greet you with a hello even if busy with other customers. The products are amazing, I have very sensitive skin so I hesitated when I was looking around but finally gave in bought a scrubee (mind-blowing). The products are very gentle and kind to the skin, so far I have not bought something I did not enjoy. On my first visit the employee showed me all the bath items, we sampled some body gels and then he proceeded to show me the bubble bars and that was nice. Then on my second visit I came in kind of knowing what I wanted but still had an employee show me around and introduce new items. I had a lot of fun on both visits, it felt more like a friend telling me about a product they were crazy about and I really enjoyed that. When I was at the cashier the lady asked if I wanted samples and that was really, I don't know how their samples work but I'm sure you can ask for samples without purchases. Being in the shop is a real treat. What I bought: - Scrubee (gift from heaven); this product will make you shine like a goddess after a nice shower. It's made of coconut butter and the scrub is actually the coconut shell so that was cool. It will make you smell good, you won't need moisturizer and you will have a nice shine. - Outback Mate, I love the smell, it smells like eucalyptus minty goodness. The color is so beautiful and honestly there are just not enough good words for it. I love how it doesn't strip me of my natural oils but washes well. - Big Shampoo (sample): this shampoo is good for adding volume in your hair. I love this product, I am going back for it because I love the texture and I really felt that it added some oomph into my fine hair. I struggle to find volume products that actually add volume into my hair and this product really did add some volume, not a big lot but enough to notice. I haven't been to the Arden fair mall lush in a few years. The moment I walked in they said hi and asked if we had been in before and then gave us a tour through the store and answered all the questions about products. What really blew me away was my friend told them she like a certain perfume scent from a different company and the worker took the time to look it up and find the scent notes and the employees worked together to find products that matched. They didn't push anything to make us feel obligated to purchase, but they showed us and allowed us the space to think it over. Thank goodness Arden Fair Mall has a Lush store! I don't go to Roseville that often, and the next nearest ones are in the Bay Area. My faves so far are the rose jam and green bubbleroons, and the Sakura bath bomb. Even got my mom some for Mother's Day! I've tried samples of the Cynthia Sylvia Stout and Blousey shampoos, and the Sympathy for the Skin lotion. I rarely go to the mall, unless I absolutely have to, or if it involves food like at Seasons 52 (Maggiano's is closing in July!). Now that I get a free sample at Godiva every month, and have discovered Lush products, I will be back more often! So many to try, I am curious about the jasmine scents (Flying Fox body wash and similar fragrances)! read more

Upon entering, if you aren't overwhelmed with the many lovely scents and bright colors, you will be greeted by a very friendly staff member who is more than happy to help you find whatever products you, a friend or loved one need. They can even help you figure out what you or someone else needs, just describe personality or skin/hair/bath issue. So many products, some look good enough to eat. I love the bath bombs, so much fun, very relaxing and great on the skin. They have shampoos, lotions, soaps up the wazoo, and many other goods. Everything is free of animal testing and is pretty low on the chemical additives. They have great pre-packaged sets of their products that really make shopping for others easy. They are also uniquely named, have fun and interesting purposes, and you're sure to find something here that you can't find at other stores. I went in and was greeted by two people. They didn't pressure me into buying anything at all, mainly because the store had a good amount of people already. I don't mind that, since this is a store where I prefer to browse alone. Here are just a few of my favorite products: Happy Happy Joy Joy hair conditioner, shampoo bar (I love several ones, Argan, Brazilliant, Godiva), coal face face wash, body massage bars, face cream Magical Moringa, bath bombs, and rose face mask. Got the mask of magnanimity, small for $13.00 which is a good price considering how their one time bath bomb is around $4-$6 a piece! I wanted to try this product out since its my first time before I commit for more pricier products! The sale lady told me to get the self preserved one since my skin is sensitive type. The next night I asked my mom to try the face mask with me and she instantly fell in love with it. Within the next few days, we saw some results and she demanded to buy another jar for her! So I came back to Lush and did so..... And got their eye cream too. Hehe. However the only negative thing was their services may come off as a little too pushy to buy. The products of the Lush brand pretty much speak for themselves. I love nearly every product I have ever tried in my 10 year love affair with the company. (Side note, THANK YOU FOR MAKING ROSE JAM A PERMANENT THING!!!) Today I am here to give kudos to the staff of the Arden Fair location. Even when they're busy they do not behave as though the customers are an inconvenience to them. Everyone was/is friendly and helpful and not bothered at all when I come in to do my thing and have a mission to accomplish with many OR singular purchases. I know my products pretty well, so when I patron the store I like to do my own thing. If I have questions I will politely ask, if not, I prefer to shop alone. The staff were super friendly upon entering. Valerie greeted me and we talked for a while and spoke about the permanent Rose Jam products and some soaps and what not. She was(is) cool, knowledgeable, and just fun. Once I picked my bubbleroon, I checked out with Jojo who was super sweet.
