I had a facetite and upper Bleph procedure with Dr Tom Liu 6 weeks ago and I couldn't be more happy with this experience, as well as my results. I'm 38, almost 39 and the past couple of years I started to notice a little bit of sagging and fullness in my neck and super loose skin on my upper eyelids. It's been difficult to apply makeup on my eyes the past couple of years. What I liked about facetite is it tightens the neck as well as my lower face and I definitely had fullness in my lower face. Procedure day was great! I took some Valium to help me relax. Dr. Liu carefully marked me and made sure I knew what he was going to do and that I was happy with the plan. Numbing me up was the worst part, but even so, it was completely tolerable, especially with the Valium on board. He was gentle and took his time and after just a couple minutes I was numb and then felt no pain the rest of the procedure. He had some good music playing, I was able to talk if I needed to and he made sure to check in with me throughout the treatment. When we were done his extremely kind and knowledgeable assistant put a compression wrap on me, and then I was on my way home. When I got home I started icing and kept my head elevated. I took two doses of pain meds but honestly I probably didn't even need it. The next morning I woke up with zero pain, unless I touched the treatment areas. But I'm on day three and haven't needed a pain med, except for that first day. I only have three tiny sutures for the facetite. One behind each ear and one of the chin. My neck is SNATCHED and my eyes are like they were 20 years ago. No more wrinkling when I put on eyeliner or creasing of my makeup as the day goes on and I'm so happy with this whole experience. So I called back and was transferred again, to Kelly, who refused to provide their price range (yes, not even the range) without me providing my full name, phone, and email. I understand needing all my info at an in person consult, but to the reps that answer the phone? If they prices are above standard, I don't want them to be able to reach back out to me. How frustrating. Talk about a lack of transparency. They kept "say we need your information to tailor a treatment plan." I'm curious how my full name and email would help them provide enough info to provide me a quote range. The reluctance to share even ballpark figures feels like a red flag. Having relocating to the Sacramento area, I was in need of a new plastic surgery office and had chosen Svia to speak with Dr. Liu about some procedures that I was considering having done. Just got my labiaplasty done by Dr. Liu. One word, PERFECTION. Dr. Liu is amazing at his work. I purchased two products from this place, Biocorneim which was suppose to help fade the scaring for my upper and lower eye lid procedure. This product actually irritated the incision area, making it dry and more red than when I first started using it. The other product, SkinMedica TNS, which they recommended for lines and wrinkles, made my skin dry, crack and red as well. Both products were expensive. I understand that each product works for some and not for others. I was hoping to return both products and get a refund (I used the product for 5 days). This facility would not give me a refund and only willing give me credit to use towards their other products which I am not willing to take a chance on again. Something to think about before making such a expensive purchase at this place. 3/15 update on my review, I received a phone call from an assistant at Liu Plastic Surgery, she apologized for any discomfort and inconvenience and explained that I spoke to an employee who was undergoing training and gave me the wrong information. Dr. Liu made my dreams come true! As soon as I met with Dr. Liu I knew he was the doctor I wanted. He and his staff are super personable and genuine. He was incredibly thorough and honest while walking me through my different options for a breast augmentation-- and was really patient with my millions of questions. He was able to do a projection image of what I would look like after surgery which I loved. My recovery has been great. I didn't use or need any of the opioid meds that are typically prescribed after surgery. My pain was minimal the week of surgery. Met Dr Swartz the anesthesiologist which was wonderful and nice as well. I don't know why I was more nervous with procedure, but Dr Swartz Dr Liu and the nurse made we feel more at ease. After surgery was very sore but woke up from anesthesia not groggy or nauseous which I always am (I told Dr Swartz this and he made sure I that wouldn't happen) Had Dr Luis cell phone number if I had any questions..Dr ended up calling me later that evening to check up on me.. 48 hours later I had my follow up with Dr Liu and that's when I saw my body for the first time. Dr. Lui has created a personalized experience for me by taking his time to answer all questions, provide photos of past patients that looked similar, and also provided breast sizers to try on and feel. Dr Tom Liu was my second consultation I had scheduled out of three. After my consultation with him I immediately cancelled my third consultation because I knew I wanted him to do the surgery. I am so happy I found him on Yelp. He is so thorough during all my appointments with him. He takes his time and answers every single question I have had. I have never once felt rushed during our appointments which is something that is really hard to find in a Dr. I started looking at plastic surgeons for a breast augmentation after breastfeeding my three babies. I was left with very deflated breasts that had no volume and I thought I might also need a breast lift as well. I went in there thinking I knew exactly what I wanted but he was so informative with his recommendations that I trusted his professional advice and went with a subfascial placement and 450cc and he was confident he could give me great results without a lift. I initially thought I wanted under the muscle and 350cc. I am so happy I went with his recommendations. They are the perfect size for my body and the recovery was so easy. The subfascial placement was definitely the best way to go. I felt good enough to return back to class and regular activity after a week and I was back to almost 100% after 3 weeks. 10 out of 10 would recommend! Dr.Liu and his staff were absolutely amazing during my whole process! I received a breast augmentation and lift. After having my baby my breasts were left flat and droopy making me feel SUPER insecure. Procedure day I was very nervous but the staff at the Greater Sacramento Surgery center were very knowledge and made me feel super comfortable. Recovery was easier than I thought it was going to be! I'm just about 4 weeks out and I am in LOVE with my new boobies! I have gained so much confidence! The scars are barely noticeable I'm sure in time they will be hard to even see!
