I went in today to get a gel pedicure with a friend. We sat down and started sharing what services we're looking for. We both asked for gel pedicures. They mentioned it was an additional $15 for the gel on top of the $30 basic pedicure service. I asked for a lighter chrome nail (reference photo attached). My friend asked for a sparkly pink. Throughout our service, I noticed how our techs had different ways of servicing us. My friend's tech seemed to be a little more detailed and meticulous with her service. My tech seemed to rush through her process. She appeared annoyed when I asked for a specific chrome color on top of the gel. Two people mentioned how it was gonna be additional $15 just for the chrome. I told them the price was okay but they kept asking me for reassurance. Then they proceeded to mention how my toes were too short for the powder. But again, I was still charged the whole additional $15 for the chrome powder anyways. I showed my tech my reference photo at least 3 times throughout my service. To make sure our visions were aligned. When she finally put the chrome powder on my toes, she applied it with her bare fingers. Which I felt was unsanitary and left my toes streaky. After the powder was applied, I assume she was going to wipe/rinse off the powder. But she only used her finger and a brush to do so. The photo of my results was after I got my own wipes to clean them up. When I tried to clean my cuticle, the gel ended up peeling. I've left photos of both my reference photo and results. Overall I paid a total of $60 for my gel pedicure + chrome powder, and another $45 for my friend's gel pedicure. I really tried to be optimistic during my service. However, I did leave disappointed. I've been to this place before and never had an experience like this one. read more

What a lovely place!!! I went in for a haircut with Ann, and my experience was top-notch. The cozy location makes you feel welcome and seen. My haircut was spot on. She listened to what I wanted and delivered. I don't typically have my stylist blowdry/style my hair, but what a treat that was! My friends and I were very excited to get our nails done but were faced with an unfortunate event. I asked specifically an ombré nail but a light white. I was shocked to get a very terribly patchy nails, and bulky. Clear at the bottom and pink at the top. I noticed how it wasn't anything I wanted and asked the nail tech if there was any way to add white or something and he laughed and said that there's nothing he can do. In my experiences with nail salons I felt disrespected and definitely unsatisfied with how he seemed to not care. Once I went to my car, I realized how terrible they were and didn't appreciate how it was $50 for unfinished work. I went back in and asked if they can at least fix it some way because it wasn't what I wanted at all, and they said yes! As I sat down hoping for it to end well, NOPE! I asked for the white thinking thats why they said they could fix it. Again left in shock to see that he just painted my nails all white. I left after and didn't fight it because it seemed as if they were not understanding what I wanted. I'm not rating the whole store because my other friend's nails turned out perfect and the nail tech (I believe the owner) was sweet! Her experience was ten times better than mine. My nails are completely uneven and poorly done. They said they could do a design but ended up giving me something else completely. When asked about it the owner, Simon, tried to explain why it wasn't as easy as what they ended up doing. Cool. But don't say you can do a design and then get 75% through our service before showing you can't. Lee, the first nail artist, had a bad attitude as well. Then he couldn't do the bad version of the design so the owner had to take over. The pedicure was fine but she cut and filed my toenails very oddly (rounded and then just diagonally straight edged on on side.) Will not be going back. Listen to the bad reviews, y'all. Let me just start by saying I didn't even get serviced here. I'm new in town, recently moved from Chicago and wanted to get a pedicure and dip powder overlay. I walk in at 5:30pm, the hours say they close at 7:00pm. I grab the pen to sign me name and the guy in charge says, "Well there are already people waiting and that takes a long time so I say, maybe not today." I say no problem and politely walk out. I get in my car and yelp, "Nail Salons near me," and there was a nail salon across the street. Needless to say, I'm across the street at Furama Nail Salon, walked in and was immediately greeted and serviced with NO WAIT! I won't even attempt to go back. You're denying people an hour and a half before closing, then you should change the hours. So if you're trying to go here after work, I'd suggest you go elsewhere or atleast give Furama a chance. read more

I've been to a couple here in chandler and most of the workers at the other salons just did not have the right attitude. This place was a breath of fresh air! This spot is a diamond in the rough. Clearly a family run establishment, it's not large and fancy like most, but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in quality. I'll be honest, my nails don't usually hold a gel manicure for more than a week at best. I'm hard on my nails. I wash my hands frequently during the day as a nurse and I like to tap the tips of my nails on hard objects. I don't normally splurge to get my nails done because why spend so much if they won't last? Well, not only has my manicure lasted twice as long, but my nails are actually growing!! And I've got to say, the price is just right. Previous salons have charged extra for the metallic powder dip. Not only was this included in the final price, but the gel manicure was a solid $5 cheaper. I already have someone who I love to do my hair, but from the looks of the cozy interior this is a one stop beauty pampering spot!! Manicure, pedicure, hair cut, waxing, you could do it all and never leave the building!! Super nice if your on a time constraint and don't feel like shlepping from place to place. My loyalty runs true and deep, it's hard for me to even say this, but I think I've found a new nail spot. Also, they're open Mondays. My last nail spot wasn't. I get that's a restaurant practice, but a nail salon? In short, this small family run business has a cozy interior and is tucked away in a corner shop where you'd least expect to find such a gem. I made an appointment and got my nails done by a new technician again and he took longer than most to finish. my gel nails didnt last one day. I came back and the owner redid them matte. I appreciate that he didnt charge me for choosing matte. The matte look came out runny too. I'll upload a photo of the matte color the owner did. These are the worst nails I've paid for. (To top it off 4 days later a nail already came off. Ive been coming here for over 4 years too. 3 stars because I wish them the best in luck to improve their business. So here's my pedicure and everything and then you know polish my nails he didn't even fell down my nails I'm gonna take a picture the customer service was horrible they're the worst experience I have ever had getting my pedicures I will never go there again. More like marble fail The picture that looks like marble nails is what I asked for. I went too three different nail salons and showed them the marble nails and asked if they could do them and if so, how much? All but 2 of the shops said "no sorry that's hard" and one said it was going to be 55 and they were busy at the moment. I went to Lush last and showed him the picture he told me he could do it for $48 so I waited about 15 minutes. Now I'm not a nail expert but I'm pretty sure this isn't marble nails.. I was very upset and was shaking because I really didn't know what to tell the guy. It took him 5 mins to do each nail and he kept shaking the entire time. Like if you did not know how to do marble nails why say you could?? I literally said several times to the guy "this is the reason why I asked you before if you knew how to do marble nails" .. he didn't have a response just asked to retry.. then when he showed me he was done I told him I didn't like it and he said "if you can find that guy that can do that then go to him" and I seriously I had hope but I'm speechless like I asked him to take them off and I had to pay for $30 acrylic nails and on top he made me do gel color white because of the design which he didn't do.. so I paid $45 plus I tipped because I'm not a horrible person and I guess I just didn't like his art.. overall I'm very upset and never going back and hope you go somewhere where your money is worth it. read more

I found this little salon about two years ago and I don't go anywhere else. It's run by Anne and Simon, a nice and hardworking couple. When you call, they are honest and tell you what the wait is and you can put your name down. I only ever get pedis here but the massage is awesome, the sugar scrub to die for and the hot stones and towel are the icing on the pedi-cake. It's a clean salon, it's organized, and I've never had a single complaint. They offer other services like haircuts, and waxing. I always feel like I've been totally pampered when i visit. read more

I called Lush because my regular salon was not open & Lush is close to my house. I was not disappointed. Clean, contemporary & friendly place. I was offered a water. After chemo, my new hair is still very thick but darker with more gray, and it takes a lot longer for color & highlights to work. Labor intensive for any stylist. Ann worked so hard but did a fantastic job of giving me a nicer base color & appropriate highlight. She also cut my hair just as I asked, with no extra layers, as I am trying to grow it all one length long again. She was concerned about my comfort throughout & was pleasant & fun to talk with. Very interesting & sweet lady. I could talk to her for hours over coffee! Pricing is moderate to pricey, but I have paid more elsewhere & did not like the results as much. I'm also ok with it because of my difficult hair. If you haven't tried Lush yet, give them a chance. A comfortable, clean, professional salon with friendly staff & great results!
