It's always such a trip going into LUSH at KOP. I never expected to see a very 90's cartoon throwback collab with the classic Ninja Turtles. What a blast from the past! My friend and I had an awesome time browsing the shelves, picking out gifts for other friends. Shampoo bars came highly recommended, and if I didn't already have a backup bottle of shampoo already, I might've caved getting one. But trying things out can be costly. For the amount of product you get, it's pretty pricey, but that's the cost of the all natural ingredients LUSH has built its brand on. I also tend to stick to old favorites. Sleepy body lotion is what I keep coming back for when I'm all out at home. I'm glad to see they've expanded that lavender scented line, so maybe I'll try a different Sleepy product another time. I have always been a lover of all things lush. They have so many great products from soap, to shampoo, bath bombs, shower steams, lip care, face care and so much more. They have curated boxes for easy gift giving. The pricing is very reasonable, for the quality product you are getting. Comparing these products to products at a drug store or a large retailer is not a fair comparison, in my opinion. This location is pretty big. Cute little place near the center of the mall, lots of naturally made products to try ranging from soaps, bath bombs, lotions, hair care and even perfumes. Perfumes for some reason range from $89-179, I've never seen such expensive perfumes before. The scents are definitely one of a kind though. Came for their holiday sale, got the soap I had gotten prior to sale for half off, really like how soft and floral is makes my skin. Highly recommend their lotions and bath bombs too! This Lish is located in the King of Prussia Mall and is probably the largest store I've been in from this company. I absolutely adore Lush products and have been an avid patron for years so when I discovered this location I was hooked! It's got almost every product from the website. You can try out various products or ask to take a sample home with you. Everyone is incredibly nice here and it's always a joy to come visit! read more

I've never had a bad experience at this lush. The lush staff is like super trained on selling/ servicing so they'll usually pounce on you when you get there but they back off and if you do need their help they're there for you. They really do have a wealth of knowledge about their products if you have any questions. This participation recently renovated so it looks bigger (maybe it is?) and very modern! I like that all of their products are grouped by type and that they also have special displays toward the front of the store. I do like their products but just be aware they are not as "clean" as you would think so be sure to check ingredients. This location is nice! Definitely worth a stop if you're in the market for some skin/body care or even if you're not! read more

I am not giving this place 4 stars b/c of the price. The woman who helped me was very nice, although she kind of hovered. I was excited to see the shampoo bars until I was told they are made w/ sulfates. I settled on a deep conditioner b/c I wanted to leave w/ something. It was over 20 bucks, and one application. Well, my hair is pretty short, so I turned it into two. I am African American, newly natural, with coily hair. I loved it. It didn't smell great, but you wash it out...so that doesn't really matter. I definitely won't be back often b/c of the price, but I'd like to try their soaps. i have to note though that my boys thought most of the stuff in there "stunk." LOL read more

Everyone is still super nice; the last time I popped in on my break, the one girl told me they had a contest to win free hair care products for 6 months! I told her I don't use their hair care and she said "here I'll make you a sample of shampoo to try out!" I have yet to use it because I have color treated hair which makes me super nervous (even though she told me it will be fine). The only thing I can hold against them is that they had no Big Blue product for about 2 weeks, but I managed to snag one the other day, so all is forgiven! Other than that really nice girls except when there's this older lady who hovers (may have been seasonal), but she wouldn't leave me alone when I was there during their Buy 1, get 1 promotion right after Christmas. read more

They're all very knowledgeable on the products they sell, most if not all will ask what your having a problem with and from there they'll help you figure out a whole new regimen. I'm a fan of the Don't Look At Me face mask. It's great for an exfoliating mask that helps with clearer and brighter skin. Also, the young lady who helped me was nice enough to offer me some samples of other products I may like to try in the future. The prices are a little steep but for the quality and the customer service I don't mind paying extra. If it's your first time let them know and they're always nice about letting you sample something before buying outright. Lastly, GET THE LIPBALM it smells amazing and my lips are soft all day. read more

Oh Lush, how do I love thee... Yes, you'll pay more for Lush soap than you do for Dove or Irish Spring. Yes, the store will smell like a ton of products when you walk in. I don't know what people expect from a store that has "handmade cosmetics" right in it's name, but I personally wouldn't expect cheap prices, or overpackaged products that you can barely smell or see before purchasing. I've been a Lush fan for years, starting with purchasing very sparingly from the website because of shipping prices, to the Atlantic City store, to the Center City grand opening, and finally to the opening of the KoP store when I finally got a store practically in my backyard. Of the three stores I've visited, the employees at KoP are my favorite. I've never met a Lush employee that didn't want to sell you EVERYTHING in the store, and I'll admit I've been frustrated more than once by feeling overwhelmed and overcrowded as employees seem to never stop coming over to get in my face. I'm sure this is obviously pushed by the company, as it's happened everywhere I've gone, but at KoP they seem to pull back a little and maybe it's just in comparison, but it doesn't seem as over-the-top to me. Not every product will be for everyone, and even as a Lush devotee, there are products and scents that I REALLY don't like, so don't be afraid to try different things and to ask questions and be clear about what you like and don't like. One thing about the zealous employee training is that it results in people that REALLY know their products, ingredients, effects, etc., and they can definitely help you find what you want. And find times like the post-holiday sales to be able to try new products without paying full price for all of them. And for the reviewer complaining about the sizes and prices of the soaps, I know they won't cut shampoo bars because they're sold by piece not by weight, but the soaps that they sell by weight can always be cut to the size you want, and they have opened pre-wrapped soaps to cut different sizes for me before. They are also always willing to give a sample of a product if it's something that can be made sample size. read more

I came in and got what I wanted, but the staff was a little standoffish. Didn't greet me but greeted the shoppers that came in 10 seconds behind me. Also didn't ask if I needed any help. Just kind of eyed me down from a distance. I visited a friend in DC about a month ago and we went to the Lush store in Georgetown. Super friendly and very, very helpful there. I love Lush products and how many cool and creative products they have. I visited the King Of Prussia Mall spring break this year and had to check the place out. I didn't buy anything but just going in and smelling everything, and looking at all the pretty things to buy was awesome. I love Lush, and have been using their products for years because they yield great results and are environmentally friendly. The company as a whole is amazing. But, this location is the worst Lush store I have ever been in. I asked an employee about a shampoo bar that I thought may have been discontinued. She said she had no idea what I was talking about, despite me showing her a picture of the product, and treated me like I was stupid. I asked her about other shampoo bars, but she just told me to read the descriptions on them and they'll tell me what I should try. And the employees here are more interested in each other's drama instead of assisting their customers. When I was checking out, the girl did not say a single thing to me. She kept on a conversation about her co-workers birthday party for the entirety of my transaction, and when I told her to have a good day, she looked at me and then didn't even say anything. My boyfriend and I traveled up to KOP for this particular Lush store because I was interested in the Cupcake mask. When I arrived, one of the staff (petite Caucasian female) greeted me and I asked her about the Cupcake mask I specifically wanted. Unfortunately she informed me that the store had ran out and that she recommended the Magnaminty mask. I told her that I was not interested in that one and ask her if there's another alternative mask for acne. In response, she said that I should listen to her and get the one she recommends because she "has 10 years experiences" then walks away. Afterwards, she ignored me the entire time and assist other guests around me. Wow. I did not expect such behavior especially after hearing all the good reviews. This was my first time in a Lush store and I am quite disappointed. I actually proceeded to Sephora afterwards and bought myself another mask brand at an even higher price because of how upset I was. Personally as a customer, I like to form my own opinions and go for items I am interested in. I have done reviews and got feedbacks from friends on different products from this store so I had an idea of what I want and do not want. I do not like being told and pressured into getting something else that I do not want. I LOVE Lush. One of my favorite stores. The people here are very friendly and greet you when you walk in, smile, etc. They give you enough space to shop on your own, but whenever you need help, they are there. I'm not sure if ALL Lush's do this because this is the only Lush I've been to, but they sample their bath bombs in this big pot to show you how it looks and the texture of the water. I wouldn't ask them to throw in all of them though! The only thing I have to say is it's a bit pricey. I mean, the products they make are fresh and work really well, but in my opinion, their price can be a little cheaper. I LOVE Lush, but the location at King of Prussia was pretty terrible. I know it's pretty common knowledge that Lush employees can be a bit nosy, but King of Prussia really took it to the limit. As I previewed gift sets, two ladies told me what was in it, and since the Boxing day sale is still going on, they kept reminding me that is was BOGO...I'm not new to Lush! Then, as I tested a massage bar, another lady came up and explained what it was, and when I walked over to check out soaps, another lady came up and asked me if I knew about the soaps. Some of them looked bored and were unenthusiastic, and when I asked for a sample of Angels on Bare Skin, I never received it. The stock was larger than my local Lush's and the store wasn't crowded. This store is definitely large for Lush standards, but the stock wasn't large...but I'm not going to complain since it was the sale. Don't get me wrong, I love Lush. But the sales associates were just plain annoying. I went with a friend who's never been to Lush,but they never really helped her, nor asked her if it was her first time. My girlfriend and I recently drove from Philadelphia to the King of Prussia Mall solely to go to Lush because she wanted a specific soap that was sold out on the website. When we arrived, I was absolutely appalled at how rude and antagonistic the employees were. My girlfriend still bought the lemon soap since we drove 30+ minutes for it, but she didn't look at anything else and quickly left the store. I hope we never have to interact with those employees again, and I'd recommend shopping somewhere else to avoid them, especially since the mall is huge enough that you have tons of other options. read more

I rushed in here today less than ten minutes before closing to see if I could redeem my coupon for a skin consultation and get some samples to try out and Mari (Maori? Marie?) was awesome and definitely didn't seem to mind that I kept her an extra five minutes after closing. I said that I had oily skin and was looking for some face products to control that, and she tried out two face washes (Herbalize and a charcoal one), two face moisturizes (Cosmetic Vlad? Enzyme something?) and an awesome tea tree toner, and was incredibly generous with the samples, including a jar of the Hair Doctor scalp mask that I've heard so much about. I've used the face samples already and can't wait until I can get a chance to use Hair Doctor! Overall, amazing experience and definitely has raised my already pretty high opinion of Lush as a brand. read more

They made me samples of things that I needed but weren't immediately available! Both sale ladies were down to earth and made me laugh the whole time! When I went back the second time they remembered me ( and we're talking months) and my products!! There was a different lady at the register but she was just as cool and offered samples too! Very disappointed. When I visited about 5 days after opening, the great majority of their sold-by-the-pound products (soap, some shampoo bars) were cut and packaged into large pieces, so the soaps all ranged from $10-$14 in price. One of the shampoo bars was something like $17. I asked one of the staff if they could cut a smaller size of the shampoo bar, she became very cold and unfriendly and said that they 'don't do samples'. Uh, I wasn't asking for anything free. I haven't experienced this at other Lush stores; soaps were pretty much the same size/price as they are on the web site. I assume it's because KoP is an 'upscale' mall that they figure they can sell $14 bars of soap. Not to me, I'm back to ordering from the web site. After reading some of these reviews I was wondering if we had all visited the same store. But the address checks out, and we did. My experience in LUSH was fantastic. I was buying some stuff for my girlfriends birthday. She prefers some of the upscale soaps and stuff, uses vegan products which is great because I happen to be just that. Vegan. I was looking around getting a feel for the place noting that the stuff had a V on the tag noting it was vegan. I was impressed. I was then greeted by a woman named Deanna who also happened to be vegan. I gave her a little background as to my business there and she quickly pointed me in the right direction. But that wasn't all, not even close. Deanna went so far above and beyond what anyone would consider 'high expectations' and threw in many "samples" (I use quotations because it's pretty much a whole weeks supply!) of various products, including some soap for my own personal use. It's very seldom someone can make you feel like such a special snowflake, especially being in the customer service business myself. When shopping here ask for Deanna! She is vegan herself, and she has a great feel, and a passion for what she sells you, so when you get home and use this product, you will not be disappointed. Thank you! -Ian read more

To rate LUSH lower than a '4' simply due to their pricing, is simply missing the point of the store in and of itself. This is not a WalMart, selling 'Made in CHINA' products; this is a company that places value on its American made products. Yes, Americans are paid much more than the factory grunt in overseas manufacturing plants (who by the way, steal American patents, sell the knock-offs and ultimately cost MORE Americans jobs). So, if you would like a $3.00 bottle of lotion please shop at WalMart .. if you place value on American made products and have a budget that will support that, then shop at LUSH. read more

I was pleased with this location compared to the multitude of other LUSH locations I've been in for one reason: SPACE. The KOP location is actually enjoyable to shop in because it has an open design and you're not packed in so tightly you're afraid you'll knock over a basket of Comforter bars. There's something about the layout that's very organized, very easy to find things and none of the salespeople were overbearing or crazy. I'm extremely happy there's a location in KOP and that I don't need to venture into downtown Philly or pay shipping from the Pacific Northwest to get my LUSH fix. Maybe it was just me but it seemed some of the products were either nonexistent or running very low in stock. I took off one star for this. It could just be that I haven't been in a store for a while and they retired some of my beloved favorites. Not sure. read more

I love lush products, especially their fresh facial masks and creams. The employees at this location are very helpful..although a bit too much at times. I feel pressurized being asked by 5 different members if I needed something. They are very courteous when you ask for samples. If you need the fresh masks you need to get here by friday as they run out of it pretty soon. read more

I came here one day and we had a terrible experience. I will, never again go to the Lush at this location and believe the customer service is terrible--we have called corporate & told them so. I came armed with a lot of money in my wallet, and planning on spending a lot on soaps and bath bombs. I came with two other people, who were planning on buying small items before going into the store. We entered the store and they had big buckets of water set up near all the displays, and a lady next to us had dropped a bath bomb into the water. Well common sense--a big empty bucket of water just sitting there next to the display. I immediately thought oh okay it's there incase we want to try something before we buy. And I put a bath bomb in. The rudest employee ever with blue hair came over and screamed at us. He asked us to leave the store. I told him "can I please just buy my stuff and then leave, if you want you can take it to the register" (The way he talked it was like we were planning on stealing, I was planning on spending a lot of money, and truly, just wanted my stuff.) and he said no you need to leave now give me all your stuff. I was floored. It is so misleading and aside from that, fine, if you believe someone is misusing something and you are P'Oed, but to turn down paying customers and tell them that they cannot buy the stuff that's in their hands and then take it from them and usher them out--what a terrible employee. It really put a bad taste in my mouth for LUSH, and now I will only buy online. As a matter of fact, after that experience I went on LUSH online and ordered a bunch of products, but never again will I buy in store from them. And I don't know if their dumb or what, but how misleading to put big empty buckets of water right next to bath and body displays--any person that walks in is going to think oh okay it's a tester, we can try it once before we buy. But seriously, I have never been yelled at so harshly before by any retail employee---I worked in customer service for years and would never talk to someone that way. If this was an employee, he should be terminated. If this was a manager, he still should be terminated. We did call corporate and spoke to a nice lady. But now when anyone mentions LUSH, we just mention our experience...and we spread the word. For the way they treated us, this store location does not deserve any good reviews. read more

The Lush KOP store is an oasis of comfort from the corporate cesspool I'm stuck in 9 to 5! It is so nice to walk in on my lunch break or after work and get a quick treatment and leave smelling delicious and much more relaxed! All of the staff are super-friendly and willing to help you find the perfect product for your needs. You can try out literally any product for free right in the store, so you can make an educated purchase. If by chance you do wind up not totally satisfied with something you take home, they always let you return it . Another awesome feature is that if you buy a product online and don't like it, you can also return those in the store. I wish every retailer was this easy to deal with! read more

Before the remodel of the store, the King of Prussia Lush was one of my favorite stores to visit. I recently went with a friend to see the new store, and it became uncomfortably clear they had instilled a much stricter policy on customer service. It was complete overkill. We were initially greeted and shown a new product, which was fine. However, once we started to drift around the store, the same greeter would not leave us alone! Any product we picked up, she had a story to tell and questions to ask. It got very uncomfortable. She was very nice but clearly someone had trained her to talk about literally anything someone showed any interest in to push a sale. It got worse as we moved further into the store; another associate actually stood next to me for five minutes straight and asked me what I thought about every. single. mask. I smelled. It was so suffocating, and my friend and I were very eager to leave. I don't blame the associates, they were very friendly and informative. I blame whoever up the corporate ladder forced this type of training technique on them. Clearly, a few of them were new and just trying their best. But it was overall a really tense and weird vibe throughout the shopping experience. I would definitely come back if the workers would relax a little and let me browse in peace. read more
