When I went to check out- $20 extra added for buffing ?!?! Who asked for that. This place is a scam! Additionally on their website- buffing is $8. Second and last visit. Friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff. If you are getting your feet done, you are in safe hands. Eyebrows as well. If you are getting your nails done, be mindful. I normally only want the owner to do them because this is the second time I've gone here, came home and did something normal like take a shower and my nails started to peel off and wrinkle the DAY OF MY SERVICE. The only additional service I got were my eyebrows, but I also paid a significant difference from last time. I understand yesterday's price isn't today's price. This is fine, but not for the entire gel polish on my left side to be gone and for there to be wrinkles in my nails. UPDATE: I want to thank this shop for calling to rectify the situation. I explained the issue, why this set of nails was particularly important to the weekend ahead, and what the shop who fixed my nails had as a critique to my nails as I couldn't get back up to their location before my event. Today was my first time in and the staff's customer service is the reason they're getting 5 stars from me. Upon entering without an appointment, the manager / owner at the front greeted me happily and talked through my questions. All other staff was occupied at the time, so he started on my manicure. When Hang came available, he communicated to her what he and I discussed and what I wanted. Hang was awesome. She was willing to try sns on me despite my nails being super curved and it typically being too thick. When we decided to go with gel, the color I chose was different than what it came out as so she let me try several other colors and patiently showed them to me on my nails. I never felt rushed or a bother, even through all these changes. She was particular with my manicure (not distracted like I've experienced sometimes elsewhere), paying attention to details. The space seemed clean and was bright. Christmas decorations and music too. They also gave a bottle of lotion as a little holiday gift. :) I will be back. read more

I tried this nail salon for the first time and Sophia did a great job on my pedicure! She was very nice meticulous. My toes looked great.

So, after leaving a nearby restaurant in the afternoon during the week, R turned to me and asked, "Do you have anything planned right now?" Nope. "Lemme see how much a pedicure costs." Uh ... ok ... He disappears into Lush Nail Bar to find out the cost, comes back outside, and asks, "Do you want a pedicure? My treat." Uh ... hmmmm ... ok. So we both got pedicures, only my second pedicure ever, and my first pedi in 10 years. Customer service was good. We waited a few minutes while an employee got both of our chairs ready. I was soooo lost, because I didn't know what I was supposed to do. The whole shop looked clean. There were three women (customers) in the nail bar at the time, each of them having two techs (I think that's what they're called) working on them, one doing their hands, the other one doing their feet. I wasn't wearing a face mask (R already had his on), and I noticed everyone, customers included, wearing masks, so I asked if they had any masks. I was given one to wear and we were ready to go. We were shown our chairs, but I needed just a short time out to use the restroom. When I came back, R's tech had already started setting up for R's pedi, with R already soaking his feet. My tech wasn't available yet, so R gave me a quick run down on what to do. Take shoes and socks off, sit in chair, soak feet in the little tub, turn on massage chair, lean back, enjoy. Good thing R was watching out for me. During the entire pedicure process, he gave me instructions about what my tech was going to do. My tech was nice, but she didn't talk very much. I almost kicked her twice, once when she unexpectedly started buffing my soles, and the second time when she started massaging my feet. Hmm ... Maybe I should have told her directly that I have ticklish feet, huh? Anyhow, my feet looked just a little better; since I maintain my feet most of the time, the tech didn't have to work hard on them. I honestly felt very relaxed by the end. The massage chairs did a great job my entire back, and the tech did a great job. At no time did I ever feel pain! Counting down another 10 years until I get my next pedicure! Lol. read more

I agree with the previous reviews regarding customer service. It's not up to par. Considering the amount you pay for service, the bedside manners should be much better. As far as the service, it's just okay. One of the nail techs (his wife works there) did a freestyle on my nails that was HORRIBLE! He got mad when I told him I didn't like it. He then put stickers on and I ended up coming back within 3 days because the stickers fell off. They get you in the door with their discount but you end up paying around the same price as everywhere else. Please know that there are no shortages on nail shops. Besides the fact that I asked for a marble nail design and came out nothing like what I wanted but yet I still kept good faith the next time would be better..my nails ended up turning dirty and ugly after 2 days. I had a feeling they didn't put a top coat on and that's what it was. Two of my nails that had the design on had top coat and they weren't dirty looking and looked fine. I went back to explain and showed my nails and had the nerve to say it has nothing to do with it and has to do with everyday things. Very poor communication skills from the techs I saw here. I came with my bf for pedicure and toe design for myself. We both liked our pedis but when it came to my toe design it never happened. I showed them what I wanted from the very beginning and It wasn't until the end of my pedicure that they told me that none of them could do it. What I wanted was a marble design with gold flakes. I left very disappointed. Had I known from the very beginning that my request wouldn't be fulfilled then I could have gone elsewhere. Also for people that are curious about their COVID19 precautions, not all the techs were wearing a mask and not all the customers were either. I was in need of a pedicure and headed to my normal salon only to discover a sign on the door indicating they were closed for Memorial Day. Memorial Day is Monday not Saturday, but ok! I love the boutique Fox's that is in the same shopping plaza as this salon. After browsing the boutique I waked over, and they were open and had plenty of customers! Upon walking in you will witness a wall full of nail colors! I am pretty sure there is something for everyone. To the right you will find the receptionist who finds out what service you needs and instructs you to pick a color. This salon is spacious, there was no wait for me to be serviced. I was seated in a massage chair and Ulexa was the technician who assisted me. Ulexa asked me which pedicure I wanted, I went with the express for $25.00. Ulexa did an amazing job. She spent ample time filing, cutting, scrubbing massaging- I mean the work. I was beyond impressed with what is included with an express pedicure. Additionally this salon is clean! My normal salon has lost a customer-- I am willing to drive a little further for a great experience! read more

I'm never going there again. I been doing regular gel opi polish for the past 10 years and it never damaged my nails like this! They employees were super chatty and unprofessional. Poking each other and laughing like kids while working on our nails. I was also told by the guy doing my nails that "he doesn't like doing nails" !!! The front desk lady was super rude and had an unwelcoming tone. This was my second visit to this place because I wanted to give it another chance since they messed up the first time as well. First this review is for the Lush in the Trader Joe's plaza on Roswell Rd. There are 2 Lush locations on Roswell Rd and people get them confused. I have been a regular here for 1 1/2 years. I go every other week for manicure with SNS and a pedicure. I have NEVER had any problems. The salon is clean and welcoming, friendly staff, and huge color selection. Every nail tech who has worked on me has done exactly what I wanted and my nails always look beautiful. I constantly get compliments on my nails. Everytime I go I am seated nearly immediately. I did not feel welcomed no one offered me a drink or anything while I was getting my services(like they advertise one there menus) then Julia the nail tech I had was very rude and impatient I originally came in for a coffin full set with a French tip and a 2-D nail art design. I ended up leaving with medium square French tips that were crooked and misshapen even though Julia kept reassuring me that she was going to fix it during the filing process which she did not then had an issue with it once I told her I was not going to pay $10 for a shape that I did not receive. I should've walked out and not paid for anything but despite how rude and ill mannered they were I still paid for the services I did receive and was happy with (basic gel pedicure). I am so happy I discovered Lush Nail Bar! I first discovered it on a day when my usual nail salon had let me down and made me wait for 30 minutes without acknowledgment. When I went to Lush, they immediately seated me and provided awesome service! I have since returned several times, and they have consistently provided excellent service. I am really picky when it comes to my nails, but every technician has been patient and never protested at my requests to change colors or get an additional coat. This is definitely my new go-to nail salon! For Covid precautions, there are plastic barriers between the technicians and customers, customers are distanced, and masks are required. I walk in for a regular manicure as I have been doing the past year or so only to be told by their so called manager "Tam" that none of the nail techs want to do my nails. I didn't understand her reason given that they were not busy and there was only three customers. To make a long story short only after pressing her for a reason did she tell me that " I am picky" and only want regular manicure which takes too much of their time. Just because I'm not doing sns, gel or acrylic which cost $45 or more doesn't mean you should deny me service and ask me to leave!!! Today I try Lush in Sandy Springs and they were absolutely wonderful, I had a deluxe gel pedi and full set color acrylic nails with design, I love how my nails turned out and best pedi I've had in a while. My nail technician Megan had an attitude right off the bat when I just asked to confirm if she was the person I made the appointment with. Then apparently asking her to file my nails was a last straw because she stormed away from me and threw a tantrum. Then when I simply asked if the next technician (or manager) had a mask she gave me an attitude as well, and said "I don't wear masks, if you want me to wear a mask then you have to have someone else do your nails."
