I've been a loyal customer of Brillante Nail and Spa for several years. However, my recent experience in December left me disappointed. I came in for SNS with a tip and chrome design, expecting it to last at least two weeks. Unfortunately, within a week, multiple nails fell/broke off, indicating a poor application. I promptly contacted the spa, and they agreed to redo my nails at no extra cost (photos of our messages attached). However, during my return visit, my nail technician seemed visibly upset, leading to a sloppy and unclean job. Despite the poor service, I still decided to leave a tip. To my surprise, as I left, the employees chased me down, insisting I pay an additional $15 for "cat eyes," a term I have NEVER heard (despite getting my nails done MULTIPLE times at this and other locations), and $5 for the "design" (which was essentially the same as the chrome design I had initially asked for). From my perspective, I received the same nails with only a different color powder. Though promised no extra charges, I ended up paying $20 in addition to the tip. I could have accepted a $5 additional payment just for the "design," but being charged over $65 for a bad visit and another $20 for ANOTHER bad visit is just so bizarre to me. The commitment to not charge me was not upheld, and I paid for such poor services. Overall, I'm upset by the decline in service and quality at this establishment and I do not recommend anyone visit. There are other nail salons nearby that value quality and respect. I will not be returning. read more

I've used this nail salon three times now and I'm happy with everything. The store is clean. I also like that the "mood" is calm giving me the opportunity to relax. I also appreciate that the employees don't spend a lot of time talking back and forth to each other. It might be too quiet for some....but it really works for me. I get a mani/pedi using SNS and gel. The selection of color is great! read more

One of my friends said her neighbor recommended this nail salon ... my understanding was that it was brand-new but from the reviews, looks like it's been around unless they recently changed ownership. I thought almost all nail salons were Vietnamese-owned but this one is Korean-owned. It's very quiet & relaxing ... like a spa :) As their name indicates, they also do massages, waxing, brows ... we came for pedicures. We got the $28 basic pedicure which includes a lot of nice services like the leg massage, paraffin wax treatment for the balls of our feet, etc. The massage chairs were great too. Salon ladies were all very nice, personable and did a great job - we're definitely coming back. Plus they have a great loyalty program where after 10 stamps, you get $15 off or a free regular manicure. Now I'm very excited to wear sandles and flip-flops and show off my pretty toes :) FYI they're in the same strip mall as the Sherman-Williams paint store. read more

This is the best nail salon. It's chill and very welcoming. Its not too exclusive as most of the staff speaks English most of the time. Most salons speak a foreign language and it's awkward, you don't know if thay are talking about you. They do exceptional work and I am always happy with my nails and pedi. If you want, you can usually even add on a neck and back massage as well. read more

The atmosphere was so calming with soft music. The staff are super friendly and attentive, making sure I was comfortable the whole time. I got sns, with chrome and the attention to detail was impressive. They were very careful with the cuticle. My nails look flawless 10/10 experience! read more

I like this place. Good service and they're always so friendly. This is my second time at this place and won't be my last. They are very attentive and detailed when they're working on your nails. Most recently I got a gel manicure ($25). At the end of the session, they give you a neck/shoulder massage for a few mins which was nice. Most places don't do that. I recommend if you're in the area. read more

The lady burned my hand with the towel because she did not check the temperature. I made an appointment and she kept getting up during the appointment to help other people. My nails looked horrible and there was polish all around my fingers and they were bumpy. I got gel and the day after two nails already broke. I showed a photo and they looked horrific. read more

I can't say enough about how great an experience this was. I walked in without an appointment and was offered a spot immediately. They have SO MANY COLORS to choose from for gel. I usually have a specific color in mind, and I had no problem finding the one I wanted. My manicure was very well done, and it included a hand massage AND a shoulder rub! Everything was above and beyond, and it was only $25! I'll be back again (and I have in fact been back since that manicure for a pedicure). This is my new favorite nail salon. read more

Visiting for a month, needed my Pink & White nails done desperately! Did my research on Yelp & went with this highly recommended nail salon. Was greeted by the very tech I was going to request. I was looking for a change and I had some pics of his work. So a Pink & White Ombré was the pick. I am so pleased with the result. I had a pedi by Silvia which was simple but very happy with her too. Very accommodating & peaceful atmosphere (spa like). Amy did a great job on my SNS and Jennifer was very meticulous with my pedicure ... great foot massage too. My pedicure nail polish didn't keep because I had to wear closed toe shoes later on that night. I came in the next day and Tom re-did the pedicure at no charge. They didn't make me feel bad about it either :)) They prefer tips in cash but it was great to be able to add to my credit/debit card. I have been coming here for almost 3 years since the new owners. I only get a pedicure but they have the best pedicure in Atlanta and surrounding areas. Prices are the most affordable especially if you are getting gel on your toes. Even their most basic pedicure comes with a lot of services, but go for the second option with the paraffin wax! You will love it! They are the sweetest people and have excellent customer service. I highly recommend! 10/10 for sure and always consistent. read more

The past few times i've come here to get my acrylics done they've been great. Somewhat overpriced in my opinion but still up to standards. However, this afternoon I went and it took them over 3 hours to do a simple acrylic design. The end result of the french tips are wonky and the base color does not match my skin tone at all. The colors do not go together and the charm is completely falling off and snagging on everything. The pattern is also distorted and not clear at all. Right now, the gloss top coat is still wiping off even though I got them done barely an hour ago. I repeatedly asked both the person who was working on them as well as her manager to fix them and they did not. Additionally, the starting price I was told was then raised at the end of the service. I'm not sure if the management changed or something this time but these nails were not worth the 3 hours and almost 100 dollars. read more

Wow wow wow my new go to Nail Salon. Absolutely AMAZING. They took over an hour on me and took their time. They are perfectionists. Lindsay and Silvia are my go to's. And what won me over was their prices. Totally reasonable. Pedicure is $25 with callous removal. I did the therapy spa pedicure which is a cool wax concept that hardens and I am obsessed. Came here last week under torrential rains and it was pretty quiet (understandable given the weather). I was I immediately diately create es by Tom and he helped me find a close to if not exact match for an sns i got in south florida. Tom did an amazing job! I'll definitely be back. If I could give zero stars I would. I got a pedicure, and they burnt my foot with a towel. I told her that it was hot and she kept it on. I finally pulled my foot out because it was hurting so bad. After that it was burning but it was manageable. I told the lady checking us out that they need to check the temperature of the towels because they burnt me. They proceeded to tell me that it's probably just an allergic reaction(because she couldn't see anything), but I said if it was an allergic reaction wouldnt it be on both feet. I did pay but i went to urgent care because the burning wouldn't stop and they said I have 2nd degree burns on the top of my foot. So moral of the story don't go here!! read more

I've been to this place several times and generally think they do a decent job. Today I was not pleased with my service and consistency is important to me. Nothing about the services were relaxing. There was no conversation. My feet didn't even get a chance to get wet good before they were filing and buffing away. I got a gel mani and and regular pedi. The pedicure felt rushed and she was incredibly rough with the instruments. I was the second customer on a Sunday--it was empty. Same with my manicure. On one finger I was nicked 3 times where it kept bleeding. Also there was left over polish on my skin in several places which she said "it will come off" and there were sharp edges to my nails because she didn't go back and lightly file at the end until I mentioned it. Mostly I'm just annoyed my finger cuticle is irritated and puffy with small red cuts, and of course the fact that she wasn't apologetic about it. It will probably be sore for a day or two. (The pic is from the next day. Still sore.) I'm between 2-3 stars.. my nails still look good--if that's all that matters. read more

I came in for ombré nails and it looked so bad. I asked for coffin shaped nails and the shape was more rounded. I had a fill in that costed $68 (way overpriced) before tip. When I complained, they made me feel like I was crazy and that nothing was wrong with it. Here is a picture so you can see how horrible the job was. read more

I am so picky about my nails, but this was probably the best SNS manicure I have ever gotten. I walked in around 9:45 without an appointment, and was seated immediately. I saw Jane, and she was great! They have a ton of colors to choose from. From the start, I could tell she had a great attention to detail when it came to the length of my tips and making sure the nails weren't bumpy before the top coat. She gave me a shoulder massage while the top coat was drying, and then a hand and arm massage. The whole thing was only $38 if you pay in cash, which I consider a deal considering how thorough she was from start to finish. I've been struggling to find a reasonable but quality SNS job in Johns Creek, but this was AMAZING!! I will definitely be going back. read more

Best nail experience yet!! New owners have awesome talented people. I saw Tom today as a walk in. I've been going into atlanta for nails because I couldn't find anyone in JC who could do 3D nail art and ombré color. Well Tom at Brillante Spa is my new nail tech!!! But because they have low staff, I had to wait for some time. Pedicure was with the effort. I'd be back here. Not a bad spot. Cane back to update one quick thing. My gel nails came off within 4 days of initial apply. I had to go back and get refilled, which they did with not charge. And then it started peeling off again within next 7 days.

I then resorted to texting to ask them and I typed out a clear and concise message that indicated that I was inquiring only and didn't intend on changing my appointment at that given time. The message read: Hii! I wanted to know that if I wanted to reschedule, would there be any penalty/issues? I don't know if I need to yet, just weighing my options. Alexis, the owner, told me there was no penalty and that I can reschedule online if need be. After speaking to the airlines to change my flight to extend my stay (for the emergency, my grandfather passed), I decided to try to simply reschedule my appointment for a later date. After having issues booking online, I decided to call back because the same thing happened with booking my initial appointment. And Alexis manually went into their system to change it, and thought that perhaps she could assist me again. Instead, she texted me an incredibly RUDE and insensitive text, following another that said that she cancelled my appointment although I never asked for her to do so. There was no apology, no customer recovery, nothing. Attached you will see the text messages, please read them. And please do yourself a favor and DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE RESPECTED AND HAVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, because you will not get it from them. I really wanted to support a Black owned business, but there are others in the city that deserve the money that you'd spend here. UPDATE: Per the business owner's response (Alexis), she has made it even more apparent that her overall inadequacy and inability to thoroughly read, be honest, and even manage her books properly is alarmingly unprofessional. In the response (below), she claims that they "went out of their way to accommodate me past business hours," which is a prime example of her fragrant dishonesty. I simply asked her for whatever time that was available for my booking. I never asked for a time. Alexis took it upon HERSELF to book me at 6pm and not 6:30pm, as she claims. Please see below for proof of my statements via Alexis and I's text message conversation. In addition, I did call at least 4 times to try to be considerate, so I wouldn't cancel my booking. As I mentioned in my initial review, I had just received news of my grandpa's passing and had to change my flight to attend the funeral. When I messaged her (see texts below), I apologized for the calls and notified her of my family emergency-- which she chooses to ignore-- and even settled to come in for the appointment still because I didn't want to throw off their schedule. With the passing of my grandpa, I simply wasn't thinking of if the business was closed or not, and just wanted to get in contact with someone who could possibly give me information on rescheduling, if I decided to. Also, since when is calling a business when they're "not open" an inconvenience? If their contact number was solely their business number, someone calling during the daytime closed or not, isn't bizarre-- logically. Simply put, this all stemmed from a very prideful, egotistical business owner that refuses to own up to her mistakes and apologize for cancelling my appointment, when I only contacted her to get information on their rescheduling/cancellation policy. I believe that she may have trouble properly reading. During our entire exchange via text message, I was so kind to her. Never gave a rude or snappy response. So I'm unsure why she deemed that I wasn't a "good fit for their business." I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau on this matter.

I just found this salon a couple of months ago and have had such a great experience! I get SNS manicures about every 3 weeks and they are so beautiful and last a while. They are great with both walk ins and appointments. I have been seeing Annie recently and she is so sweet and really takes her time to make sure my nails are perfect. My mom has been seeing Helen and loves her! The atmosphere is very relaxing and clean and their prices are extremely fair and on the lower end compared to other salons. read more
