Went in for appt. with Ly. I asked for squoval nail shape on a new set of nails. It was a horrible experience. She did not know what squoval was apparently (this is a standard shape). She cut and filed my nails so that they looked like dull points. Cut the sides down so that there were none. I was so disappointed. Especially given how much I paid to have them done. I am so happy with the services I received at this salon. Nina and Hung both did an amazing job. Everybody was super friendly and they even offer you complimentary drinks. They were both very thorough but still fast at their job. What impressed me even more was that Nina could tell I didn't love the color I chose for my manicure. I didn't want to say anything because it wasn't her fault, it was completely my mistake for choosing that color but she could tell I didn't love it so she asked me if I wanted to change it. You could think because this place is lush it would be very expensive but no. This is one of the cheaper pedicures i've gotten for such great service. My service was preformed by Amy, she was so nice and made sure I was comfortable. She had small conversation with me which was nice. She was also able to remove my ingrown without me feeling uncomfortable or pain. Also free drinks with your service that's a yes! If I could give them zero stars I would. I booked for a gel pedicure; It took literally an hour to get nail polish off my toes....she had to call for help to get all of it off from the corner sod my toes because she was incapable. I led tier hour a polish change. I asked her to check for ingrown and she didn't know how. For a nice looking salon, you sure do hire amateurs. The owner Ly called me back the next day and asked me if I had time to come fix the nails since she did not want me to be unhappy with what I paid for. Which I really appreciated. I went back and she really took the time to get my gel x done l. She suggested ideas which would work best with what I had wanted and really took her time to curate my nails. I also got gel pedicure done by Hang, who was very friendly and dodna great job. I was really set on not going back to the salon but the owner made an effort to reach out and wanted to make it right for me, was something I appreciated. Only thing is she didn't understand I wanted square shape toenails and kept filing them round and angle so one side was shorter smh. I loved that I no longer to deal with mascara. It's been 2 weeks and they are still going strong! Still getting compliments. Kate was kind, professional and knowledgeable. I 10 out of 10 do recommend! After 48 hours for upkeep I used an eyelash shampoo kit with dryer included. A kit I got off Amazon for about $12 to $14 bucks. I clean my lashes morning and night. Had a gel mani/pedi which cost $95 and it looks like I did it myself =\ For the pedicure, I don't think she allowed it to set long enough under the UV as there were ripples in the polish, so annoying to look at. My white polish for some reason looks more off white. The pedi said it came with a 5 minute massage but I don't even recall it happening as it's my fave part For BOTH my mani and pedi, was not painted close to the cuticle so looks outgrown already. In addition not painted fully on the sides of the nails and when you have colored polish, it's so noticeable. I only noticed these flaws at the end and didn't have time to request a correction The salon was busy which is generally a positive sign so I probably just got unlucky. Maybe I caught them on an off day. I had the deluxe pedicure. It was extremely rushed through. The menu states that you get a 7 minute massage with your $50 pedicure. After the wax treatment the tech rubbed my legs but no foot massage. When I asked her if I get a foot massage she said "I already did it, I rubbed your legs". Like no.... I was here and you didn't do it. What!? I also had to ask to simply clean under the nails and the cuticles. When she did she jammed the tool under my nail. Never going back. read more
