So I'm sitting here at Lush waiting for a tech to start my mani-pedi and my feet have been in cold water for 15 minutes. My appointment was at 6. This is the 2nd time I have been here and both experiences have been very unpleasant. Definitely won't be coming back a 3rd time. I wanted a 70 minute pedi and had to go with the shortest pedi because they close at 7. I understand that I booked with 1 hour before closing time. This is no way to run a business. I called and asked how do we fix this and they said they can do a free full set for me, I came back and wanted a design and I said I'll pay the difference they told me for the full set will be $140 that's including the "discount" since they now said they wouldn't do the full set anymore. I've been getting regular manicures for 30 years. In that time I've had everything from regular polish to gel to SMS. Regular nail polish manicures should last more than 2 days when you're not working with your hands, not cleaning, etc. I got a regular manicure on Wednesday evening and by Friday evening they were a mess. See photos. I was on vacation not doing anything that should make this happen. During my manicure the tech squirted liquid into the polish bottle to thin it out. I think this may have been what caused this. When I brought this to their attention, they told me gel and regular nail polish are different. Mansplaining obvious info that is widely understood is a sorry attempt to excuse the poor service. Waste of money, they don't stand behind their work, avoid. read more

Proceed with caution, Have been here a three times. The salon looks clean and deco is nice. Quality of service is so-so. First time was ok. Second time the technician cut into skin near my toenail. It bled but she didn't treat the wound and tried to put my foot back in the water. I declined. Third time, i got a gel mani. It was only my second gel mani so I didn't think to speak up when the tech didn't apply a gel base and detail the sides to make sure the product was off my skin. One week later, the gel was peeling off my nails and detaching from my skin. It was disappointing and waste of $40. If you get a quality tech here, you'll be fine. I recommend constantly checking on what the tech is doing so you get what you pay for. Unfortunately that means you won't get to relax during your services. read more

I went in for a gel manicure. They have this cats eye color that was so cool. I decided to get that but it was $10 more!! Just for using a magnet. The manicure itself was mediocre. First the seats although pink and cute were small and uncomfortable for my big trunk. Then the nail bar was very wide and she kept stretching my arm across because her arms were so short so that was uncomfortable. My mom who came with also was having her arms pulled and she has a bad shoulder so she was in pain after. They also used an electric file all over my nail. I didn't like that but I know it evens out your nail. Also the towel that she put under my hands was dirty and after she cut my nails she just left the clippings on the towel! Grosssss! Also she filled my nails after doing the gel so there is no polish on the top of the nail. I hate that. Also there was a pathetic little massage after my nails were done- not enjoyable at all. I called ahead to come in for a gel pedicure at their earliest convenience. They asked me to arrive in 20min, which was doable. Right when I walked in Min greeted me at the front door and from that point it was an exceptional, relaxing, attentive experience. It's clean, smells wonderful and beautifully decorated. Bathrooms are very clean as well. I sat down and decided to treat myself and do the Volcano pedicure, at 7.5 months pregnant my legs and feet appreciated the extra attention. I also asked if he could add on shaping and clear coating my nails. Let me just say that Min is the best - he was delicate in touch when needed which overall added to my ability to relax and just enjoy the experience. He checked in often but not too often on pressure, nail cut/style, temperature and my overall comfortability. What I appreciated most was that despite them getting increasingly busier as I was there and he had to attend to other people a few times - I never once sensed anxiety or felt like he rushed. I also spent a little extra on my own because I was so comfortable and relaxed. Many other salons will constantly push and try to upsell you - biggest pet peeve - so I really appreciated that didn't happen here not once. wanted to check this place out because of the reviews but was pretty disappointed. I got builder gel nails, no tips/ nail extensions, 70$. They also only have limited colors that aren't exact, I asked for white and painted more of an opaque nude color. They told me it's the same price with tips but I can't get them for work. I'm no expert but doesn't really make sense considering it takes an extra 10-15 mins if getting tips, cutting and filing. The whole service took about 40 minutes. Absolutely amazing experience yesterday! I went in with a group of four including myself and we were taken back about 5 minutes after we arrived. The music was calming and the staff were friendly and patient. I decided on getting a full set with gel as well as a pedicure with regular polish. I found the style I like online and got a square style nail. I was so impressed that my nail tech Ben was able to get my nails perfect based off a picture I showed him. Have only been during the week and have had minimal wait, but would definitely recommend an appt. So this shop is nice and decorated pretty but looks are deceiving. I went twice and will never go back because they are rude and unappreciative when you tip well. They nickel and dime you on all their services. I swear one person charged me one price and when I went back the second time for the same exact service, they charged me more. I scheduled an appointment one week in advance and when I arrived they sent someone else to do my nails. I was baffled because nobody called me to tell me the girl I was scheduled with was not there. Then they told me the receptionist messed up that day and didn't schedule me with her. I couldn't understand why they were telling me she messed up the day of my appointment because like I said I scheduled it a week in advance. The girl who they sent to do my nails was upset because I questioned what happened to the person I scheduled with and walked away. I asked the girl Chris who was doing my feet what happened because I was there and needed my nails done since nobody gave me the opportunity to reschedule with the person I wanted. They started speaking in their language which I didn't understand but could tell her energy was very negative towards me. She did an okay job but my nails were thick and not so cute. Weeks later I called to schedule an appointment with the original nail tech and was told she didn't want to do my nails because I was only nice to her. Huh??? I don't know anybody else in that shop so not sure what that was about. I asked if it was because of my skin color and Min told me "we have a lot of people like you coming here". Wow, people like me? He then said he could schedule me with the manager Bella to do my nails and Chris who did my feet was happy to do so. Such strange behavior that the girl Kaity was too good for me but the manager would do my nails for me. Also Chris was delighted to do my feet. Because of this very weird experience, I will NEVER go back. Also two of the girls who referred me are not going back. I am also going to tell everyone I know about this. So beware that they don't like customers questioning their mess ups and will kick you to the curb. Their loss! read more

I recently moved to the area and this nail salon is 5 min away from me. My regular nail tech is about 25-30 minutes away from my new house. I desperately needed to get a hard gel fill and my regular nail tech across town didn't have any openings so, I decided to walk into this nail salon and I wasn't too happy with their work at all. The nail tech who did my nails completely filled my nails down to the nail bed and it burned so bad! I kept pulling my hand away and letting him know that the file was hurting me and it burned really bad and all he did was press on my nail and apply pressure as if that was supposed to make it feel better? He didn't adjust the setting on the drill file at all he just kept going and almost made is seem if he just kept going fast we'd be don't with the filing quicker. Since my nails were completely filled to the nail bed once it was time to put my hand in the UV light it burned my nails extremely bad. Not even a few days later, the gel is now breaking because my nails are so thin. Although I live as close as I do to this salon, it's safe to say I will definitely not be returning to them and I'll find another salon or continue to drive 25-30min away for my regular nail tech. My nails are completely ruined now and I get married in 2 weeks. read more

Visiting the area and picked this place because several of the reviews were positive on yelp. I had a tech named James, for a regular manicure. Very sloppy, and inexperienced, and rough! Started out by not removing the old polish well enough, that the sides of most nails still had the old color visible. I had to ask him to remove it. He cut back the cuticles too far, filed the sides too much that I had to ask him to stop both because it was painful. Did not clean under the nails. Brush strokes were choppy and uneven. The polish was clearly old, thick and gummy. He added thinner- too much- which made it too thin and even harder to apply smoothly. Frustrated, I asked for someone else to apply the polish. Another tech Kelley finished them. She did a better job but the whole experience was not relaxing and my nails look "eh." Also not hand massage, nothing special about the whole thing at all. And they charged me $30 for a regular manicure where most places charge $20. Lush, You may be in an upscale area but there is nothing upscale about your service or workmanship. The area is saturated with salons, this place isn't worth our time or money. read more

Went here for the first time randomly. Super happy with the find! Although it was the quickest pedicure I've ever had (35 min), my toes still look amazing! Great for if you're in a hurry but I always love the longer massages lol. It was super clean and super nice inside. The employees were helpful. Fair pricing.
