I drive here from St. Charles because the quality and attention to detail here my head and shoulders above anywhere else. I tried going several different places near me and they were extremely rough with my nails-- one place repeatedly nicked me and drew blood and when I said OUCH, they told me it didn't hurt! In contrast, the techs at Lush take their time and are meticulous. I appreciate that they don't just use that electric buffer to take gel off but actually soak it off. The woman doing my nails used a grinder on my cuticles, seemed angry at them and two days after I got my gel manicure the bottom edges were lifting. The guy doing my toes so aggressively ripped out a cuticle that it caused severe pain when walking and had to be treated for infection. I've been many times but service and cleanliness have gone downhill. I won't be returning after this last visit. read more

This is my third time coming here, and my third time leaving completely disappointed. Don't ask me why it's taken me three times - I don't know... this last time coming in, I was getting a powder dip fill on my nails. The lady who did my nails could not care less about her attitude or lack of friendliness. She swatted at my hand twice when I moved, and was moving so fast, it clearly showed that she was not being precise or taking pride in her work. She nicked my fingers twice with her nail drill, and chipped my polish before she was even finished. She did not fix it. My nail shapes were uneven and boxy when I asked for oval. I had to reshape when I got home. The powder dip was poorly done, leaving my nails bumpy to the finish. The top coat is not smooth and I left with sandpaper, bumpy, chipped nails, and poor service. Cons: Mani and Pedi done at the same time so neither were as relaxing as they could have been. Asked for a specific thing for my manicure and they sort of did the exact opposite and it was too late for me say anything. All-in-all, I'd go back for just a pedicure. Started off really liking this nail place until my most recent visit. I made an appointment at 11am for a pedicure and they proceeded to give me a polish change. I was very confused bc i never asked for a polish change and they just gave me what they wanted. I also asked for clear pink on my toes for the french tip. He forgot midway and added it on after already doing the white french and only put on one coat , which didnt really do anything. I only gave two stars because I have had some good experiences in the past at this nail salon. Otherwise it would be one star for my last visit. The technician cut me when trimming my cuticles. She felt bad and apologized and I paid for the service. A few days later I was still bleeding and my thumb was puffy. I called the manager Adam and tried to let him know that I was having an issue. I wasn't looking for compensation, just wanted to let him know. He was distracted on the phone call and talking to other people--basically letting me know that he had no interest in me. He abruptly said that he had to go and would call me back. Never called me back. Never apologized. I will be trying a new place for my services tomorrow. read more

My mom and I were just here! I had an acrylic fill/gel/stiletto shape/Swarovski elements on two nails and a toe nail polish change. My mom had an Ocean pedicure and dip manicure. I saw Andy, he did my nails exactly how I wanted them. Shaped them exactly how I wanted them shaped- none of this, "yeah I can do stiletto" crap and then they send you home with almond shaped nails. These are legit stilettos- hard to find on the west side. Sleek, sharp and fierce! I was torn between 3 color choices (they have an abundance!) and I like to test a new nail artist by asking them which one they think matches my skin tone the most. He chose the first option without any hesitation after short consideration, which was hands down a great selection. I am loving this Dolce Pink #603. They have a matching non-gel nail polish I used on my toes. My mom was also torn between a multitude of colors as they offer over 400 different shades in dip nails alone. She had picked a color similar to mine before I had even asked about mine and Vy (her nail artist) told her, "no." She then got up when she was finished with a pedicure that my mom loved and retrieved a beautiful pink that I refer to as Legally Blonde Pink, lol. I don't remember the actual color's name. The Ocean Pedicure was a pricey $50 but my mom was so happy with the results and really enjoyed herself so it didn't really matter. My mom and I love going to get our nails done together, it's definitely grown into a tradition. I am so happy that we have finally found a place we both have thoroughly enjoyed. The people are very professional and nice, the interior is gorgeous, the ambiance is subtly refreshing and relaxing and the prices are not too crazy, considering the area. As soon as we walked in the door, we could smell this sweet aroma of good quality oils and product wafting through the air to greet us, it didn't smell stale or cheap like some places. The salon itself is very well-kemp. I would personally recommend Andy and Vy. They were awesome and great to work with. I am comfortable saying the product is fresh and they know what they are doing. The guys enjoy their relaxing experience and the prices were reasonable with the service we got. The salon itself has a clean aesthetic and the employees were all very nice. Do Not Get a Pedicure Here. My wife has been going there for several years. As of late, her experiences have been very poor. Extremely Over Aggressive and lack of customer service. The last was her final visit as the worker used the callous remover tool and went well beyond my wife's heels and onto her ankles. After multiple times of asking her to stop, the worker finally stopped when she made BOTH of my wife's ankles bleed. The staff just turned their head and would not make it right. High quality mani and pedi place. The interior is clean and modern and the workers are friendly and efficient. What I liked the most is not having to change chairs for my manicure which made the experience that much more relaxing. The selection of polishes is good and it looked like there were yet more colors being unpacked and placed on the shelves. Pro tip: definitely stop by or call to request an appointment. I noticed several walk-ins being quoted wait times upwards of an hour. Okay so I came here once and it was great the first time but the second time they did me so wrong. I'll attach pictures of what I got vs what I wanted. I understand that no one is perfect but maybe it was my fault for asking for too hard of a design (although I think I could've done better myself). The real issue I had was that I went back in to get them removed because I did not like them and they told me I had to wait until tomorrow morning to get them off. They had at least 3 nail techs just sitting around on their phones and a removal takes max of 10 mins. And so I asked them to please take them off and they eventually did. I walked out of the salon with literally half the acrylic still on my nail. He didn't even fully take it off and at that I spent $90 on the nails and only got a 40 dollar refund. I walked in and was greeted by the staff and was able to get service immediately. I was offered water, soda, and snacks. Because this is a fairly new nail spa, everything was very clean, crisp, and white. I got a gel polish removal and a gel manicure for $35 which is a reasonable price. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that they didn't have that many color options. They had all the basics. The salon I usually go to has a bunch of Essie and OPI colors, but Lush Nails Spa only had OPI and a brand I was unfamiliar with. read more

The inside is clean and there is nice music playing. I got a pedicure and a manicure. The pedicure was great and they took time to massage and exfoliate my feet. I had problems with the manicure and initially left a poor review due to that however the owner reached out and apologized for the misinformation I was given. The two reasons I'm taking off a star are 1) This place does the manicure and pedicure at the same time. I prefer to have it separate to prolong the relaxing spa experience and lessen chances of the nails being messed up. But my nails turned out great and I understand some people like to get done faster that way. 2) They forgot to give me the polish back that I brought in myself, so I'll have to go back and get it today. read more
