My experience here was unprofessional, unsafe, and blatantly disrespectful. * Promotions: Confusing and misleading--no transparency on discounts. * Service Quality: Two nails popped off immediately. Cuts on my fingers. Their drills were dusty and likely unsanitized. * Customer Service: I wasn't even seated for two minutes before I was met with attitude. She rolled her eyes, ignored my questions, and spoke negatively about me in another language...while I understood every word. I tried to be friendly and open to suggestions, but it was clear this tech didn't want to be there--and maybe didn't want to serve a woman of color. Do yourself a favor: Stay far away. HAD been using this salon for a long time and was always happy with the services. I had wanted to try Cindy because I had heard so many good things about her. I went in for a mani/pedi and everything was fine until she started putting polish on my toes and I stopped her and apologetically said I didn't like the color and asked her to use the other color that was sitting right there. She quickly took the polish off of the 1 toe and started using the other color like I asked but the pleasantries were over. She was quickly took and careless. First time here and I feel like they are a solid 4 stars, maybe even 4.5. I did an acrylic mani, gel pedi, and basic pedi for myself and my teen daughters. The place is pretty large and open, with a large number of massage pedicure chairs ringing the room and table for manicure stations in the middle. It smelled very nice (aromatherapy dispensers) and the walls had faux greenery which made it feel pretty. The had quiet music going and the tv was tuned to funny animal videos which was a nice change of pace and great for zoning out and relaxing. We had a little difficulty choosing color because they gave us the color samples in plastic sleeves instead of loose so we couldn't put them directly up to our nails to check color. They did have the loose nail samples in a basket but what we were given was a little challenging. Decent selection of OPI polish for my daughter doing a regular paint pedi. Pedi chairs were comfy and massage worked well. The lowest-charge pedi was a $40 spa deluxe. It included all the usuals - warm water soak (I like it hotter but understand that the techs have to put their hands in the water so it needs to be comfortable to them too), nail trim & file, callous removal with pumice stone, massage with exfoliating scrub and lotion, and hot towel. It also included a hot stone massage which is not usual. My daughter isn't fond of all the scrubs and massage, so it would have been nice for her to have the option for a cheaper pedi without those extras. I didn't think the hot stones were worth the extra $$ and I felt that the massage portion was a little shorter than I prefer, but it was all well done. I also have pretty heavy callouses so I was a little disappointed in the callous removal. I still have some pretty thick spots that weren't removed. Gel and paint polish were fine for both my daughter and me. My daughter noticed some damage when we got to the car so we went back in and they fixed it with no complaint. The daugher who got an acrylic mani had a perfectly fine experience. We didn't pay for mani so it was all business. She got an almond shape which was an extra charge. I never get that but oh well. Overall I feel like the nails themselves look nice for all of us. The luxurious pedi experience wasn't all the way there but it was pretty good. I felt like it went really fast but sometimes you want to get in and out. Cost was $150 for the 3 of us but not sure how that broke down because we got the wrong receipt. Spa menu said the pedis were $40 each and acrylics were $60, but I assume there was an upcharge for my gel and for my daughter's acrylic shapes. We may have also been charged more for length (although they weren't really long) and maybe for her dip, but I can't tell where the extra $10 came from. Once I see how long the polish/nails last I'll decide for sure but I think this was a really good place worth trying out again. read more

I have not been disappointed once after getting my nails done here. The staff is very friendly and moves quickly to get you seated, even if they are very busy. If it's busy season (prom, Mother's Day, homecoming, etc), I would definitely recommend making an appointment so you don't have to wait too long. Otherwise, I haven't had any issues walking in. Always greeted, wash your hands and then wait for your designated spot. The music is lightly playing, the chairs are very comfortable and if you want a back massage while getting a pedicure, the chairs can help you out. Pick out your colors and you are in your way. All technicians have been great - I am always walking out of there with exactly what I was looking for. Today's gel pedicure was no exception. I appreciate their staffs expertise and will recommend this spot to anyway. read more

First time experience here for a dip manicure given by Cindy, unfortunately the dip only lasted 4 days before it started chipping. My cuticles were also hit 3 times to cause bleeding on 3 different fingers. Came back on 5th day to have dip removed as I was highly disappointed it began to chip in 4 days, they insisted on charging me $15 to have it removed even though it didn't last more than a week, that's terrible customer service on the owner's part! Mary took my dip off and she was gentle, however not all the polish was removed successfully. Cindy did my pedicure same day as the dip mani, I will say the deluxe pedicure she did was very good. read more

We had an appointment scheduled at 4:30 and they had us out the door at 7:41 ridiculous. My nail lady was very rude she didn't introduce herself whole time she was silent as soon as she asked what service I wanted for my pedi and I told her the $30 one she just looked at me and started doing my feet super fast. The polish on my toes was really messy and uneven when I told her she didn't hesitate to help fix it instead I believe she got the manger to do them which she did fix it correctly. I understand it was busy but if someone makes an appointment they shouldn't have to be rushed or treated any differently from the others. Very disappointing! I made a last minute appointment for two pedicures after a bad experience at another salon. The person who answered the phone was very polite and gave me a time later that afternoon. When we got there, it turned out that one of their workers had failed to come in and they were running behind. Everyone was very apologetic about the wait but still got us in within 15 minutes of our scheduled time. The pedicures were perfect. The salon is very clean and has a wonderful atmosphere. We had an appointment at 4:30 didn't leave until 7:41 for 2 people no acrylic, basic pedicure plus gel polish, I got a gel polish change on my toes, and gel polish change on my real nails. The polish on both of our toes was messy and uneven, they were rushing everyone. They kept stoping and going to other people and more people walked in and they took them at that point they really shouldn't have took anymore customers. She claimed they were short staffed but I counted 9 employees so not sure how that's possible. The owner had to come redo our polish since it was so awful. She wasn't happy however that isn't anyone's fault but her employee. Also who did my toes isn't who did my sis in laws toes 2 different people. Then there was another lady there who wanted an airbrushed look on acrylics. It looked horrible. The photo she showed was like a deeper red but what she got was an orange/red and the paint was all over her nails and cuticles. The guy who did her nails told her to "wash it off" it didn't come off. While I was waiting for my redo on my toes a girl next to me was sitting by me talking to me and I was saying how my toes were all messed up and she goes my nails are messed up to. She had black polish and said it was streaky. She also had another lady do her nails. So as far as I know while I was there 4 different people were not happy by 4 different employees and I know they had to redo the girls nails too she was there for hours and hours. It's ridiculous how they rush you then they mess up and act like it's your fault. I got to the register to pay they tried to charge me $15.00 extra for "taking off my nails" I said what nails did you take off these are my REAL NAILS, not fake and no nails were applied either. That's very shady trying to add extra charges for no reason. They were pissed since they had to redo multiple people's polish which they can't blame but their employees. So I said I'm not paying that. I didn't get that service! She's like ok ok ok I'll take it off this one time. It was my 1st and LAST time there. I hope they realize that rushing people isn't going to work or make their customers happy. I noticed they reused the nail file as well not sure about other items. If you feel like the balance is off ask for the receipt before you pay because that is what I did and that's how I seen the up charge! They also literally talk shit on you and your nails. They were loud and obnoxious. I had the translation on and heard their convos. It's very disrespectful. read more

I came here twice for Gel and Mia did an amazing job. I went in this morning for a gel removal and regular manicure to give my nails a break from the gel. My tech this time was Mary and my experience was terrible, I won't be back. She missed painting parts of a few of my nails and I had to point it out before she put the top coat on. Then, the second she was finished she immediately put my nails under a fan which caused several nails to ripple and look terrible. When I pointed it out, the man at the front desk said they could redo but I had to get to work. I was offered no apology or discount or to come in later to have them fixed. Not to mention after filing several of my nails she didn't smooth them out so the tips of half my nails are rough, jagged, and scratchy. First and last time here! I cannot believe they charge extra for basic components of a manicure Trimming cuticles and filing nails are additional charges on top of your manicure. I have had my nails done hundreds of times at different salons and I have never experienced a salon that charges extra for trimming cuticles and filing nails. Not to mention, they did not tell me beforehand that they were charging me extra. Had I known, I would have left immediately. I wasn't even happy the quality of my dip manicure. The foot massage was okay, but the chairs were super uncomfortable. Not sure why, but something was sticking out and I couldn't get it to move and it really hurt my back. My nails were also kinda messy, and they're peeling. They showed super complicated designs that they could do, but they could barely handle a simple fern design I gave them. I went to Bar Nails for a manicure and pedicure. I really like the ambiance and the salon is clean and not very loud which is appreciated. I enjoyed my services but they did feel a little rushed - a deluxe pedicure and manicure with gel were done in less than an hour and the 'massage' included with the service was very short with my pedicure, and didn't happen at all with my manicure other than quickly putting on lotion. Overall I think they turned out good, but $78 before tip for a mani/pedi (I did get gel on my fingernails) is pretty steep, hence the 4 stars. read more
