DuPuis Oil installed my boiler 3 years ago. They sent a technician to clean it upon my request. DuPuis send a different technician who said the previous technician did not clean the boiler correctly and he showed me why he said that. He also documented it. DuPuis never billed me for the service on August 12th. On October 27th my boiler didn't start. I called DuPuis and the service manager told me that they won't support my boiler anymore unless I buy their oil. I told them I would find someone else. 3 days later, which was 80 days from the corrective service they did on August 12th, I get a bill. My first bill for this service with net 20 terms. On November 5th they send me a statement that included two months of a late fee, for a bill I didn't even have during that time. The late charges are fraudulent. They did shoddy work on my boiler and after it polluted my house and almost killed me, they want me to pay for them to re-clean and properly adjust my boiler because I wouldn't let them extort me into buying their overpriced oil. On August 12th I would have paid the bill had they presented me an invoice as per usual, but assumed they didn't because their poor work necessitated the August 12 service call. If they were going to bill me with terms of Net 20 for the work they did on August 12th, they should have billed me on August 12th, not 80 days afterwords because I refused to be extorted. For them to charge me late fees for two months I wasn't billed is criminal. They should be audited to see what other unethical business practices they employ.

A master plumber and an assistant came to my home, and I was billed for both workers. I was also charged for approximately an hour and a half more labor than the time they actually spent working at my house. To access the plumbing, they cut a hole in my wall. While I understand that sometimes this is necessary, they left the wall unrepaired. Even worse, after reinstalling the plumbing fixtures, they failed to caulk around them, leaving fixtures loose that had been secure before they started the job. The final bill was extraordinarily expensive, yet I was not provided with an itemized invoice explaining exactly what I was paying for. When I called to request an itemized bill and questioned the charges, I was simply told that they do not issue refunds. There was no meaningful attempt to address my concerns or explain the billing. I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in hopes of resolving the matter professionally. According to my experience, Wagner Plumbing did not respond to the BBB complaint. As a customer, I expect honest billing, quality workmanship, transparency, and accountability. In my experience, Wagner Plumbing fell short in every one of those areas. I was left with a damaged wall, unfinished work, unanswered questions about my bill, and what I believe was an excessive charge for the services provided.
