The only things I needed to bring were tablecloths, the cake, and whatever food I wanted besides the pizza they provide. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly helpful. Jermaine in particular was awesome. They helped me unload my car, put out my very minimal decorations, and even put together the cheap Amazon banner I brought with me. There is SO much to keep the kids entertained, including unlimited arcade games, inflatables, and a huge amount of open space for the kids to run around and play. It was perfect for a group of energetic 3-year-olds! Jermaine even led the kids in games, and you can genuinely tell that he loves what he does. The prizes he gives out are actual, full-size prizes--not just little trinkets--which the kids absolutely loved. They cut the cake and handed it out for me, and when the party was over, they loaded all the presents, leftover pizza, and cake onto a cart so I could easily get everything to my car. I barely had to lift a finger! Another huge plus is that this is one of the only birthday party venues I found that doesn't charge per child. It's one flat fee for as many kids as you want, which makes planning so much easier. If you're looking for a birthday party venue where you can actually relax and enjoy your child's party instead of running around doing everything yourself, I cannot recommend Jefferson Indoor Sports enough. **No notes. It is super cheap ($6/hr) and they have lots of inflatables for them to jump and run around in. They also have an air hockey game and basketball game. Tables in a back room are available if you book a party package. Like I said come here for your own sanity if you want to have a stress-free birthday party. You will rarely ever see a crowd in here. Heck I've been to this mall numerous times and have hardly seen anyone at all in here. You have the place practically to yourself. There are no running signs posted throughout. Socks are required. You can buy a pair for $1 if kiddos aren't wearing socks when they come. They also sell snacks and drinks at the counter. The staff isn't the most attentive as we had to find the girl working because she was off sitting around on her phone.

There is a nice food court and bathrooms really close by. Based on the previous reviews, and google searches of "things to do with kids in NOLA" I had high expectations of this park. What I saw when I arrived was a junk yard of misfit toys and beat up playground equipment. I know I'm being very critical of a playground for kids, but this is a poor excuse of a playground. In order to get here you need to purchase a ticket for the Ferry. The ferry leaves every 30 minutes and only costs a few bucks. The ride takes about 5 minutes to get across the river. Then it's about a 15 min walk to the park. I wouldn't say the area is unsafe, but I would suggest staying on the main roads if possible. The playground located on a street corner in the middle of a neighborhood. The playground is fenced in which I thought was nice. There were lots of toys inside, some of which were broken. The toys seemed to have been dropped by locals who just didn't want them anymore. There were a few swings, and a play set with a slide. There was also a rather large mulched area where kids can just run around. I will warn you, if it has rained recently then the playground is rather muddy. Over all it was a nice time for my little one to run around outdoors, in an enclosed area. Bathrooms - These seem to be few and far between in this town. The day was saved when I found out there was a coffee shop next door called "One Stone" that had a kid friendly bathroom. There was a really nice changing table in there with spare diapers and wipes. Had it not been for this saving grace we might have left just as soon as we arrived. **Be sure to read my review of "One Stone" as its worth visiting if you come over here for the park. Would I come back? Maybe. "One Stone" was pretty cool, but there are so many closer and better things on the other side of the river that there just isn't much of a draw to come back over here.
