I've always admired their sign out front and had some time last week to drop in and try out the menu. I came in for their summer special sandwich but quickly detoured to the Pick Two deal they have. I rarely see Pick Two deals so was happy that it wasn't just a lunch special. I chose the half-sandwich and slice of pepperoni/sausage Detroit-style pizza. Since I'd not been here before, I decided to pick up an order of the appetizer meatballs, as well. The suburbs of New Orleans is celebrated for its strong Italian roots and I wanted to see if the meatballs were authentic-local. My advice is if you're ordering to-go and you have over a 15-min commute, then don't get the Dream State sandwich. It's best eaten right away and I can respect that so the sandwich was a little over-steamed and limp. Having recently returned from a trip to Cleveland where I had Detroit-style pizza several times, I was happy to see the same ingredients on Reginelli's. Now when they say "double-proofed dough", they mean you're getting a thick slice of square pizza and you're going to love it. It had all the Detroit ingredients, too: marinara, Bourbon honey, Ezzo pepperoni, & crispy edges! I cut it in half and made two meals along with the meatballs. The meatballs were a standout for me. They used veal, pork & parmesan in the mix and served it with marinara, some ricotta cheese & fresh basil. This Sicilian neighbor used to make them like that with the two meats and the ricotta so my vote is authentic suburbs-style. Since I didn't order in advance, I had to wait about 15 minutes. I know they were making the pizza to order so was happy to wait. The serving staff made sure to check on me, let me know they were working on the order, and offered me something to drink while I waited. My pizza was to go. Once I arrived home, hardly any cheese. The pizza was overcooked. Totally not happy.

There's multiple reginellis in the city and this was my first time here. I came here to try the king cake cocktail and was greeted by a very wonderful person name Donna. I was dining by myself and she just made me feel so at home and welcoming with good conversation. I ordered the king cake cocktail and the dream state sandwich. The sandwich was warm and tasty. It had goat cheese, tomatoes, nuts, and a balsamic citrus vinaigrette on top. The king cake cocktail was not strong but good. It had rumchata and fireball and whipped cream on top. It tasted like a cinnamon toast crunch drink. During Carnival season they have a Mardi Gras menu which includes thay drink, a king cake bread pudding, and a crawfish pizza. I also love that the restaurant places wine bottles with the wine menu on each table. I totally loved that touch! Plenty of parking in the front. Pretty decent sized restaurant so good for groups. Reginellis has great food. Great pizza, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, even soups! Our kids love "the pizza place" and we will continue to come here forever. The staff is always nice, not always fully staffed with quick service but they are always nice, which counts. They also have a side room you can reserve in advance for private events. And the kids can make their own homemade pizza which they LOVEEEEE doing. read more

So excited to have our mommy daughter date here tonight. She wanted to make her own pizza to which she added salt- too much lol When she couldn't eat it, I ordered her another pizza. Was pretty disappointed to see I was still charged for the throw away pizza. She ate one slice- rest they threw out. Now granted she did ruin it with the salt but still. I used to enjoy the pizza from Reginelli's Pizza but twice now I've gotten food poisoning from their pizzas. The first time was a couple of years ago and the manager made it up to me by giving me a free pizza. More recently I had a shrimp pizza and I was sick for two days. Their website was easy ordering and customization of a small pizza (half BBQ chicken, half Classic), small Caesar (delicious), hummus, side crostini and also a kid's Tortellini ($7.50). My only complaint is the tiny size for kid's Tortellini. It was overpriced for that size portion. We were disappointed (pic attached). I joined the rewards program so hopefully I'll have a better experience in the future for kid's size order like the Tortellini or meatballs. read more

A great neighborhood pizza joint! We stopped by for the first time this past weekend. Started off with garlic knots and a small Caesar salad to split, then finished with a large Tony's Pick. The garlic knots were delicious, and I appreciated the generous amount of garlicky goodness on it. We also really enjoyed the Caesar salad, as the dressing on it was neither skimpy nor drenched. The Tony's Pick was equally delicious. The capers on it were a nice little zing, and the crust was the perfect medium between crunchy and chewy/fluffy. All in all, I enjoyed the meal and am glad to have this place in the area. read more

This is a great lunch spot. All the locations are great. It's casual and the food is consistently tasty and fresh. This location has the easiest parking,over poydras and lakeview, since it has its own parking lot. Reginelli's has an amazing meat ball sandwich! The pesto tortellini is another one of my favorites. Their pizzas are great, but do come with chunks of tomato's on them. Several weeks ago, we made arrangements to have a pizza party for our supper club at the Clearview restaurant for a party of 14 on Thursday, August 29. When we arrived, we found that a fund raiser for a school was also for the same time. Note that the fund raiser was only set up two days prior. Needless to say, the staff and the kitchen were overwhelmed, and it took over two hours to get all of our food, and the food came out sporadically and the noise level made it uncomfortable. Things would have been worse if not for the efforts of the staff who were dealing with an impossible situation and were checking on us constantly. It would have been nice if someone would have called to let us know and we could have rescheduled. Also, I am disappointed that no one has called to apologize. I am very upset, before ordering my food I asked if they had everything because I know due to the hurricane things are not back to normal. So, I had coupons for a free bread pudding that I wanted to redeem while I was ordering. When I get there I was told that they didn't have everything needed for the bread pudding.... On the north end of Clearview, near the lake, on the east side, is this small Reginelli's. The parking lot is on the small side, but it's not like the interior is huge. Inside is bright, open and clean. Walk in, you are greeted by a member of the wait staff, you seat yourself. They have a similar menu to the other locations in the greater New Orleans area. The wait staff is friendly, and there is quite the selection of pizzas, pastas and sandwiches. I had the Mediterranean pizza my first visit and a pepperoni the second visit. On the times I have been, it has been nice and quiet. The prices are reasonable, and they have quite the selection of beers, both local and national brands, and some wine offerings. I do look forward to coming back to this location as it is between my gym and the house. read more

I walked in with someone and we were immediately sat. My table had a few crumbs on it and after alerting a member of staff I was moved with no problem to a clean table. Drinks came to the table after a few seconds and were great. We got a coke and a sweet tea which we enjoyed. We placed an order a few moments later with a server who was nice. We got a create your own pizza with mozzarella, ricotta, pepperoni, and sausage. Not too long after, the pizza came out and was delicious. The championship game played on the tv at a reasonable volume as well as light music in the background. Temperature was just right on the pizza. I would rate the pizza a 9.3/10, it could've used more pepperoni and some ranch but that's just preference. I was very satisfied for my first time here and I would definitely return. read more

Live close by and have ordered off an on since the Clearview North store opened. Pizza ingredients are of good quality but they do not put a lot on the pizza. Knowing that they don't put a lot of toppings on their pizzas, I have been ordering 2x toppings. I ordered a double pepperoni, extra cheese and extra sauce, along with a combo pizza and two salads. The double pepperoni had hardly enough for a single topping pizza and the cheese was not covering the whole pizza. At times, there seems to be a disconnect between the kitchen and the orders going in. The salads were good and those have been pretty consistent when we order them. The pizza is hit or miss, based on who is cooking it. One pizza, from a previous purchased order, wasn't even cut it into slices. That is basic pizza making, that should not be overlooked. Additionally, the crust is either good or gummy, as if someone doing the dough preparation missed or hurried a step. I don't mind spending a little more for a better pizza but there are too many pizza places (both budget and high end) close to Reginelli's that have good pizzas at a better price. read more

I love their hummus. It doesnt have that too much lemon flavor, which I like. Their pita bread that comes with the hummus is really good and taste homemade. The salads are good and taste fresh.  I love their appetizers.  I love the Fresconon pizza which consists of olive oil garlic herb sauce, mozzarella, feta, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, and spinach OMG DELISH!! Visiting Metairie for the new year. Really like Detroit style pizza. So we stopped in at the Citrus Blvd location for lunch. Wife doesn't like that much sauce and I want her sauce on my pieces. Kylie was most accomodating. She was the only server and was punctual with all of her call backs. Pizza was spot on. Garlic knots were good too. A lot of garlic and butter, just like I like. I'm super excited to do this review! Reginelli's is a place that my family and I have been going to since I was a little kid! I made my way here a couple of days ago and loved it! For apps, the spinach dip is a classic! That has never disappointed me! The garlic knots were also a big hit! They are so fluffy and delicious! I also got to try their new Detroit style pizza and it was great! The sweetness of the dough paired with crispy edges makes all of my pizza dreams come true! The photo attached shows pepperoni and sausage toppings but you do not have to do both! You can just get pepperoni! Definitely recommend Detroit style pizza! My latest trip to Reginelli's on Clearview was a less than ideal experience. This Reginelli's is decorated in the same clean, retro style as most, but it is a bit smaller. That can make the noise levels rise quickly. Tonight was a bit busy and it was exceptionally loud. In addition to the loud atmosphere, our service was uncharacteristically slow. It was almost as if our server kept forgetting we were there, which was difficult to do in such a small space. Thankfully the food was served as expected and the quality we've grown to appreciate from Reginelli's. They serve quality pizza, with fun and fresh ingredients on some unique pizzas. My favorite is the saltimbocca with Prosciutto and spinach. The Ancona Caesar is also a big winner in my book with delicious chunks of avocado atop a Caesar salad. read more

This isn't the first time this location has disappointed me. Don't get me wrong I love reginelli's but I was really upset when I ordered a saltimbocca pizza. I asked for extra lemons. I am usually a fan of reginellis but I will never come back to this location. I am signed up with the emails for this company so was VERY excited to try the watermelon salad again! I have gotten it from the Kenner location before so I know what to expect. I ended up ordering a pick up order at this location because I was starving and this location was closest. Upon arrival customer Service was great, girls working there were nice. The biggest disappointment came when i got home and opened this small-little square box. DEF was not expecting my salad to look like this! When I had got it from the other location it was a nice piece of watermelon that I had to save the rest for the next day. This salad that I got came chopped up with about 10 watermelon cubes...if that!! Had I known this I would have NEVER ordered from here. I'm so disappointed! It was almost like a tease, especially because I have ordered from this chain MULTIPLE TIMES. Then to charge me almost 8 bucks ! What a ripoff! If anything this was a 3 dollar side watermelon salad! I ordered the Margherita pizza. One of the better ones I've had. To dough is excellent and it had the perfect amount of toppings. The basil was fresh and the sun dried tomatoes on it were excellent tasting. The cheese is of a higher quality than your typical pizza place. I did hit some dead spots on the pie where there was no taste only the taste of cheesy bread. The flavor was not evenly distributed.
