Long story short: Luv offered a fulfilling and welcoming experience, and I am so happy that I bought my wedding dress from here! Katie and Nora were absolutely fabulous to work with, and Luv gave me exactly the experience that I was hoping for when wedding dress shopping. Why in detail: I went to three stores when searching for my wedding dress: David's Bridal, a boutique store in Denver, and finally Luv. My mom flew in for the weekend to go dress shopping. I wasn't convinced of any of the dresses that I had tried on from the other stores/boutiques, and wanted to continue searching when my mom was in town. I found Luv on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I didn't have an appointment, but I called and Katie told me that I could browse through the racks and if anyone cancelled I would be able to try on dresses with the available stylist. When we arrived, we were kindly and professionally greeted - one of the girls showed me around the boutique so that we could start browsing through dresses. After about 15 minutes, Nora came over, introduced herself, and asked me to show her dresses that caught my eye - she had an opening in her schedule and wanted to make sure that we were taken care of, even without an appointment. I tried on about 5-6 dresses, and at the end of our time she wasn't pushy about trying to sell me a dress. They were all dresses that I had never seen before (which she explained to me is because they only work with two designers from Australia who work exclusively with Luv in the state of Colorado). I really liked two dresses, and she made me an appointment for the next evening so that my mom could see them one last time before she left town. The next night, I met Nora again and she pulled even more dresses that she thought I may like as well as the two I was debating between. She was spot on in her styling, and "jacked me up" in what ended up being "my dress" so that I could have a full visual of what I would look like on my wedding day! I was so impressed with my experience at Luv Bridal! My consultant, Skye, was amazing- she was helpful and fun, and seemed like she really cared about me finding my perfect dress. She wasn't pushy, kept my budget in mind, and offered helpful suggestions. When I found "the one" she celebrated with me, and made the experience even more exciting. The shop itself is awesome. After a disappointing trip to another bridal boutique, I was worried about finding dresses that would fit my size 12 frame. Luv has every dress in two sizes at all times, so literally everything I wanted to try on fit me. Finally, I feel like prices here are reasonable. I was actually expecting my budget to limit my choices, but that wasn't the case at all. I went in during a sale, and then the sample actually ended up fitting me like a glove, so they sold me the sample at an even more discounted rate! I had to put $300 down, but then I can pay the dress off at my own pace. There isn't a set payment schedule, which makes it so easy. I can't recommend Luv Bridal enough. read more

Today was our second visit to Luv bridal. Our first visit in was amazing. They squeezed us in same day to try on some dresses and we found a few that bride loved. Since we were missing majority of the people the bride wanted there we tried not to get too invested in any of the dresses. Jennifer worked with us both time we went in and was such a wonderful person and so incredibly helpful. Luv bridal was fantastic! They were fun and made the experience wonderful despite especially the weird accommodations having to be made with COVID. The dresses all look pretty similar. And I had a specific appointment that I had booked but we waited for 30 minutes before we were talked to. Then, all the stylists were busy and could not meet with me. As a result the woman at reception (who honestly was super nice and helpful), ended up helping with dresses. I was very nervous about shopping for my wedding dress. I am in recovery from an eating disorder, and I thought the experience would be uncomfortable and distressing. BUT my stylist Emma was SO encouraging. She offered supportive comments when dress sizes were too small, and she never made me feel pressured into purchasing something I didn't feel comfortable in. This was my third and final appointment of my day and where I *gasp* found the dress! We were apprehensive to go to this appointment as I had another one still scheduled for 45 min after this one started at a buy off the rack store. I had found a dress my maids loved earlier in the day, but it would have been around $700-$800 in alterations to make the straps what I needed them to be for it to be my "yes" dress. Here's my experience from start to finish: -Walk in and its nice tall ceilings, dresses are on long racks, off the floor, and not overly crowded so looking at each piece on the rack is easy as pie. The front desk ladies were super nice and lead us around the corner to our trying on station. Basically behind the front desk wall is a HUGE mirrored area with 4 separate bridal podiums. This is an open area so it was less of a private experience than my first two. I didn't mind and so it was no biggie for me and there was only one other party in there at the time which was nice. -Price point: dresses were between $800-$1600. Perfect for a bride on a budget who wants more than the David's Bridal experience. You can still get a beautiful dress at a reasonable price! -Now for the selection. They probably have close to 200 different dresses. The way it works is there is one of every dress on the floor. You tell the stylists which ones you like (she also makes some notes herself) and then she measures you. Turns out, they love big girls! They had all sorts of sizes in the back and so based on my measurements, she pulled dresses in the size closest. Let me just note, all the dresses fit over my cruves so I got a real sense of how the dresses would fit and look. -Now on to the fun part! The first dress I came out in was similar to what I had thought I loved. It was pretty, but just not the "one." The second dress is a different story. As soon as it was on in the dressing room, I could tell I might've found my dress! Walking out into the showroom confirmed it. The dress fit perfect with my idea of soft romantic and rustic. Strapless with lace all the way down, and an included belt that added the sparkle my bridesmaid's demanded (for my large personality lol). This was the first dress that I was actually asking to try on veils and change out the belts to make sure that the look was on point! We decided the belt it came with was made for it for a reason (nothing else looked as good) and we found a veil with sparkles around the edge to give more of the shiny personality we were hoping for! -Though I knew this would probably be the dress I chose, we still tried on several more just to be sure. I am so glad I did because it made putting that dress back on one last time solidify my decision. I got teary for moment just stepping back into it and I don't cry easily! I know I will be so happy to wear this dress on my big day and have it fit my theme and everything I want to do in it without the constant worry of making it "lay" right and such, I am a super low maintenance type of gal so finding a dress without a million layers that folds naturally in soft folds and bustles well was a huge plus! -As for the people. I wish I remembered my stylists name, she was so nice and helpful. The atmosphere is more casual which I liked compared to a few other dress shops where the stylists looked amazing in their LBD and here I was trying to look better. I have a very fun group who brought signs and champagne and the works. The front desk kept joking that they wanted to hire my bridal party for the store. They let us take an absurd amount of pictures and we had so much fun just being there. Can't wait to try on the dress again in 6 months! read more

My cousin had an appt. and her consultant was Mareah sp? After about two horrible customer service experiences at other bridal shops. Mareah was a bright light. She made us feel at ease and was genuine in wanting to help. She listened and found what my cousin loved that we end up returning the next a.m. and my cousin bought her dress. There was also two young ladies at the front desk that were very friendly-an African American girl and a tall brunette. I wish I got their names. Anyhow, this place has a great variety of dresses at an affordable price. The shop is beautifully set up too. The only reason why I gave it a 4 is because I wish it had more stages for fittings as there is only two and one woman who worked there who was a lead (blonde hair) was not friendly. She came across as snobby and her energy did not make us comfortable. That was the negative experience/feel we had at other bridal shops. read more

I was so nervous, as this was my first time dress shopping and thankfully it was my only time! I found my wedding dress and the associate who helped me, Annya was wonderful! Omg! What a wonderful and fun experience. As soon as me and my gals walked in we were warmly greeted, and offered drinks and snacks. I brought more than the recommended amount of guests but the stylist was very accommodating, she didn't even blink an eye. She just grabbed a couple more chairs and we were golden. The experience was made very personal and would ensure that any bride knows she is going to be well taken care of. I was asked about my likes and dislikes, my venue etc to make sure the stylist understood exactly what I was looking for. My stylist, Jennifer was extremely professional as well as personable and sweet. She provided an experience that couldn't be beat at the other dress shops I made appointments at. She knew the answers to all of my questions and helped me every step of the way while trying gowns. The wrong dress was ordered, and I didn't even receive a follow-up call. I purchased my dress from Luv Bridal 7.5 months before my wedding. The service was good to help me pick out a dress although it was a bit lack-luster compared to a few of the other salons I went to. Regardless, I was happy with my purchase and knew I had plenty of time before the dress got in. I received the call that my dress had arrived 3 months later, now 4.5 months before my wedding. When I went to pick up the dress, it was not the same dress I had ordered. One of the workers (I believe she was the shift manager) began to call the other shops to see if they had the dress in warehouse to send, or if there was any ability to rush the correct dress from the designer. Unfortunately neither of these options were available. I had the option to take home the incorrect dress, or take home the floor model of the dress (which was the correct dress) at a discounted rate. I chose to take home the floor model, which only worked for me because it was in the exact size I ordered. The dress obviously has some wear and tear to it, missing beading, loose threads hanging off of the dress, and stretched out material around the waist and breast. I was fully willing to pay the full cost of the new dress to have my perfect wedding dress, so although I was discounted for the floor model, it would have never been the decision I would have gone for. I don't consider myself a high maintenance person, but this experience was extremely disappointing. To have your Bridal Salon mess up the dress order without enough time for them to appropriately correct it was disheartening. On top of that I'll need to pay for additional alterations to get missing beads put on and have the dress cleaned. I was told I would receive a follow-up call from the shift manager and the bridal salon owner, neither of which of reached out to me at all. I absolutely cannot recommend this salon. read more

I cannot say enough nice things about this place - their selection is fantastic and customer service is exceptional. I had the pleasure of working with Michelle the first time I visited and she was so nice and sincere and instantly made me feel at ease and readily answered all of my questions. All of the other stylists I've met are lovely too, I can't emphasize enough how amazing their customer service is - they are genuinely there to help you and not up-sell you on a dress or pressure you into buying something you don't want or can't afford. They are always kind and gracious whenever I make an appointment to come in just to try accessories on with my dress, I really can't say enough nice things about them. The dresses themselves are absolutely beautiful! They also have water, trail mix, and desserts that have been different every time I've popped in - seemingly minor thing but you underestimate how hungry and thirsty you might get trying gowns on! Worst experience of my entire wedding planning process! First my dress came in defective and I was told I still needed to pay for it and that a seamstress could fix it. The seamstress ended up not being able to fix it. Luv Bridal re-ordered my dress, 10 weeks later I got my dress and it is way too big. Now I am stuck paying for significant alterations. The dress issues may be the fault of the dress maker, but Luv Bridal didn't help at all in getting me the right dress....twice. I don't have time to argue with the shop anymore, so I have to have the dress fixed myself. read more

Wowza! So I already purchased my dress but was near Luv Bridal and still needed some accessories so I decided to stop in. What an absolutely lovely store! It's in an easy to access part of town with plentiful parking in its own lot. The space is fun and funky, well lit and not overly crowded so it's easy to view the beautiful gowns (though I have my dress, I couldn't help but take a pass through to admire them!). Out of curiosity I looked at a couple of price tags and could not get over how reasonable the prices were on these dresses! Were they overly ornate or unusual? No, but they were fashionable, beautiful, and obviously of nice quality! Each was clean and beautifully displayed. I also really appreciate that Luv keeps a couple of sizes of each dress as well as different colors so that no bride has trouble fitting into a dress, and colors can be selected in person. Though I didn't have an appointment and wasn't in for a dress, (a veil was my query), the girls were extremely welcoming and helpful. And I found exactly what I was looking for- a simple fingertip length veil for only $36, much cheaper than the similar one I found at David's! I had to ask for clarification- I couldn't believe the fair price! I absolutely recommend that every bride check this store out, particularly if you are on a bit of a budget (and let's be real- aren't we all?!). read more

LUV Bridal was my first dress shopping experience and I was so excited! I went with my mom and best friend on July 16th. The shop is clean and the dresses on display are beautiful. Upon getting seated, I met my consultant and was immediately turned off by her unprofessionalism and she was straight up rude. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or what it was but she simply made it seem like I was an inconvenience in her day, and that I should hurry up and pick a dress or leave. I was given about 30 seconds to change into another dress. I was underwhelmed by their selection but could understand this part as I was limited to off-the rack choices as my wedding was approaching in a few months. I wanted to take some pictures and then browse through the pictures in order to make a decision but the consultant rolled her eyes and then left us. I wanted to complain to the manager right then and there but I couldn't even find her afterwards. Their customer service was unacceptable and I've been hesitant on writing a review but recently at my wedding, my makeup artist who works in the industry told me about a few other brides who had similar experiences so wanted to warn future brides. I don't think a bride-to-be should feel like an inconvenience and this should be one of the most exciting parts of wedding planning! Yes- the dress itself is important but so is the experience. All of the staff at Luv was extremely elocutions friendly and knowledgeable. They truly listened to me and got to know me and my style. They were not at all pushy or in a rush. My oh my just when you think trying on dresses couldn't be any more fun! The entire staff at Luv Bridal was amazing! I had the pleasure of working with Maddie and my fiance got to work with Jackie, both so very helpful and friendly! And the gowns.... omg.. absolutely gorg! All together I think I tried on at least 8 dresses and I ended up falling in love with two. I had the hardest time picking between them, so bad that I actually got out of one and into the other at least 4 times. Not once did I feel pressured or rushed to make a decision, and the best part, I never even felt like i was inconveniencing anyone! They were very helpful and supportive and eventually we got it down to the right one... well kinda. I got home and after the question "How much?" was asked by my fiance (Yes, same sex couple) we realized we both wanted the same dress! If that doesn't scream soulmates I don't know what does! Luv gave me no trouble at all when I took it as a sign that the other dress was indeed THEE one, and we were able to complete the order and transfer the deposit over the phone.
